Which are the best foods and the best ways by which we can overcome the side effects of daily masturbating.

MBBS, MD Psychiatry, DNB Psychiatry
Psychiatrist, Nagpur
Which are the best foods and the best ways by which we can overcome the side effects of daily masturbating.
First of all there are no observable or documented side effects of masturbation. However your habit of daily masturbation reveals a state of psychological dependence on it for relieving some kind of stress that you have. If you feel unable to overcome the strong urges to masturbate inspite of trying too strong then consult a psychiatrist. To be healthy, you need to have a balanced diet with plenty of fluids and fresh fruits. You may prefer dry fruits in morning and fresh fruits at dinner. Avoid smoking, alcohol and being awake late at nights. Have a sound and adequate sleep. Exercise daily.

I see Dead People. Cannot trust people, the real people. 24 year, 6 feet. I have extreme mood swings in which I either masturbate repeatedly or eat like hell or empty my wallet out. Unmarried.Severe difficulty in understanding the human World and how it works. Often keep to myself. But it is hard and very difficult to be all alone and do all the work. It has been 3 years since I have felt like this. No family history of mental illness from the mom side and not know of dad side. Feels like It is not my world. Feels like I don't belong here. Sometimes I wish I was born a tree. Not a human. Cannot leave my mom. If she dies I die. Cannot leave her at all. My brother and my mom are the only reason I am alive. Cannot understand this. Had some suicidal thoughts too. Only due to the fact of non belongingness. Attempted 9 times. But couldn't do it. Couldn't see the point. It is hard to live in this world. I am not even sure it is a world. For all I know it could be a dream. Help.

Hi lybrate-user 1st and foremost, I must congratulate you on coming out and sharing things as many times people do not have courage to share. What you are facing seems to be signs of some severe disturbances in your thoughts and perception. I would strongly advise you to take professional help. I think some anti anxiety and antidepressants medicines can help you a lot without much serious side effects. And later on with the help of psychotherapy I am very hopeful that you might even be alright wihout medicines. Remember you have been very courageous. Now just take last step of taking that professional help and I'm sure a better rather much better tomorrow awaits you. Feel free to let me know if you want to know about place to visit. Remember you're not alone and you can get through this. Best of luck.
