Dear lybrateuser, - There is no chance of catching rabies if a person just passed by a dead body of dog or other carrier animals, it spreads by bite or lick of an infected animal through its saliva which enters a human body through a interrupted skin wound.

Dear lybrateuser, -Do warm salt water gargles three times a day - avoid fried, spicy & junk foods - have more of warm fluids including water, tea, coffee, milk & soup, avoid all cold fluids and refrigerated foods - take a pain relief tablet after meals if pain is there while swallowing - avoid dust, smoke & pollutants.

Dear lybrateuser, -There is no relationship between your diet & blood group - you have to consume a well balanced diet with all major food groups, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins & minerals, a lack of any group or vitamin leads to a deficiency disease - have more of fruits vegetables including green leafy ones whole grains instead of refined ones protein rich foods such as eggs, lean meats, milk & milk products such as cheese, yogurt, buttermilk, cottage cheese, tofu, soya products, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas & nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews & peanuts - restrict intake of deep fried, spicy, processed and junk foods, also foods containing trans & saturated fats.

Dear Lybrateuser, - To remain fresh & alert your body requires proper nutrition, exercise & sleep - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits vegetables whole grains and protein rich foods, have 4-5 small meals including snacks rather than three large meals, have something to eat every 3-4 hrs for a continuous supply of energy throughout the day, have meals on time, do not skip meals, have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water per day for proper hydration (even mild dehydration causes tiredness & lethargy, avoidore than 1-2 cups of tea, coffee per day - do regular exercise like walking or jogging for 10-15 min whenever you find time, also can do yoga to relax & refresh your mind - proper sleep is very important to keep you alert, sleep for at least 6-7 hrs at night, keep your sleep and wake up time fixed, still if you feel sleepy then take a short nap for 20-30 min it will refresh you & you will be able to concentrate better on your studies.

Dear lybrate-user, -To gain muscle you have to consume a well balanced diet and do regular exercise -have more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains like whole wheat, brown rice, oats, quinoa instead of refined ones, protein rich foods such as eggs, lean meats, milk and milk products, tofu, soya products, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas and nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts - include a protein rich food in each of your meals and also you can have 5-6 meals instead of three large meals to boost your protein content - do regular exercise like jogging, swimming, cycling, pushups, pullups, crunches, squats and also do moderate weight lifting for 15-20 min twice a week.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Apply cold water pack for 5-10 min twice a day to reduce pain - wear an ankle support while walking - get an x-ray ray done to rule out any bony problem - if still pain is there take a pain relief tablet 2-3 times a day after meals till pain subsides.

Dear Lybrateuser, -To avoid constipation have more of fibre rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, legumes, pulses, peas sprouts, nuts - avoid fried, spicy & junk foods - have plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of water per day for proper hydration and digestion - mix a tablespoon of isabgol powder in a warm glass of water and have it one hour before bedtime at night - take tablet Pan 40, 1 tablet daily half an hour before breakfast - do regular exercise like walking & yoga for proper digestion.

Dear Lybrate user, -For vit b12 deficiency you have to consume a diet rich in it which is mainly found in non veg foods like organ meats, lean meats & fish, enriched foods like cereals - also can take a supplement - avoid fried, spicy, sour & junk food for acidity, chew your food well, have meals on time, do not skip meals, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals for proper digestion, take a walk for 5-10 min after meals.

Dear lybrateuser, - To keep fit & alert have a well balanced diet with more of fruits,vegetables, whole grains like whole wheat, brown rice, oats and quinoa instead of refined ones, protein rich foods such as eggs, lean meats, milk & milk product, tofu, soya products, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, nuts - add a protein rich food in each of your meals and also as a snack in-between meals - also do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, cycling, pushups, pullups, crunches, squats, moderate weight lifting to keep fit - also check your blood hemoglobin, sugar, thyroid hormone level, vit d & b12 levels to rule out any other problem.
