Mr. Lybrate-user, peanut chutney may not increase the blood sugar to that level. It is the other items that are taken during breakfast which are responsible. Peanuts give protein and fat, no sugar. You have to look at your diet in total and exercise done daily which should help in controlling blood sugar better.

Sir I have a problem of sleeping a lot. Since I am a student I need to stay awake and study in the night. Is there any pill (like pills for not sleeping) in the same way as there are pills for sleeping. Or any therapy which could help.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

There are a various causes for stomach problems, treatment depends on the location, severity and type of pain. Laboratory tests such as the complete blood count (cbc), liver enzymes, pancreatic enzymes (amylase and lipase), urinalysis are frequently performed in the evaluation of abdominal pain. If you have h. Pylori infection for which I can prescribe a 14 day treatment plan which will eliminate it. Untreated infection causes ulcers in stomach and may finally lead to cancer. If your pain is occurring once in a year and not regular then such types of pain could be amoebic infection, worm infestation or premenstrual cramps. If pain is occurring frequently then get ultrasound abdomen done do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

Hello lybrate-user. It is generally very difficult to increase the height in age of 21-22. Moreover your height should be according to your body weight. You can try simple exercises and yogasanas to make increase your height. Tadasana hastpadasana chakasana vrikshasana and most of all surya namaskar you can try khechri mudra also but it is very difficult to achieve.

I drink near about 6 pegs of vodka daily. Recently feeling very much pain in stomach and vomiting also happens sometime. Is it anything serious as I lost weight also in last 6 month from 100 kgs before I m now 68 kgs only. My height is 6 foot.

Follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. Take 1/2 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder with milk once a day.

There is no spot reduction. Wherever there is fat, on exercising and eating clean, it will reduce. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 6 times per week, 3 times weight training and 3 days cardio. 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Not all patients of joint pain need surgery. Most of them can be managed without joint replacement. Physiotherapy along with medicines helps rule out diabetes, vit. Gradually develop your walking & standing stamina. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.
