you should join a gym and try to eat a balanced diet rich in proteins. Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins 1. Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. (b) Slow carbohydrates energy sources: Beans, Bread, Cereals, Potato, Pulses, Rice. 2. Proteins: Essential for growth, repair of muscle, skin, hair and body tissues. Protein deficiency leads to low immunity, hairfall, feeling of tiredness. Proteins are not stored in our body as any excess protein is converted to energy or fat. Hence, a person requires protein intake every day. When the body does not get enough carbohydrates to fuel itself, it falls back on protein bank. That is why people who follow starvation diets or go on fasting lose muscle tissue. (a) Major protein sources: Egg white(white portion), Milk, Soybeans/Soymilk, Fish, Cheese, Tofu. (b) Other protein sources: Beans with wheat, Nuts, Curd, Yogurt (Dahi). 3. Fats: Required and healthy when taken in small amounts. Excess fat leads to weight gain, increase in bad cholesterol (LDL) and heartproblems (a) Major fats sources: Egg yolk (Yellow portion), Avocados, Whole Milk, Butter, Cheese, Nuts. (b) Other fats sources: Corn, Vegetable/Olive oil, Biscuits, Flaxseeds(San Beej). 4. Vitamins and Minerals: Critical for normal functioning of organs and processes within our body. They do not provide energy directly but work behind the scenes to break down food into energy. 5. Fiber: It helps retain water and in making our stools softer to avoid constipation. Intake should be 25 to 35 grams a day. 6. Calories: A measure of how much energy food or drink contains. On an average, a man needs around 2,000 calories a day and a woman 1700 calories a day to maintain his weight and good health. Number varies by person depending upon weight, age and how active the lifestyle is. 7. Guideline: Each day have 3 main meals, 2 snacks, 5 pieces of fruit and at least 1 glass of milk.

Hi make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste. Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with any good ayurvedic soap containing neem etc.

Hello- >dark spots due to pimples is nothing but the dead tissue scar remaining after improper care of the acne. Recurring pimple problems can be due to improper food habits. >try this ayurvedic treatment- 1) apply this paste over the spots and pimples to make the face clear- masoor dal powder+mustard seeds powder+chandana powder make paste by adding milk to it and thn apply it over the affected area. 2) use mahamanjisthadi kwath 2 tsp twice daily. 3) avoid non-veg diet fast foods and spicy foods. 4) increase the amount of dairy products in your meals. 5) wash you face three to four times a day.

You need to see a doctor preferably a psychiatrist urgently. Depression can be cured by just counselling. In the meantime, share your feelings with some one close to you. Join a friends group, laugh, dance, sing, play sports, exercise, take a break, refresh yourself.

Dear lybrate user, weight loss and management is depends upon the calory. You must take your diet according to calory. Take low calory green leafy vegetables and fruits etc. Which are easy to digest as well as containing vitamins, minerals etc. Don't take heavy food, fast food, junk food, oliy food, spicy food, rice, potato etc. Drink more water 3 litres in a day. Manage the stress and anger. Regular walking for an hour 5 days in a week. Regular do yogasana / pranayam / exercise etc can help you in weight loss. Don't skip breakfast. Regular take breakfast good. But take less diet in dinner. Take easily digestible food more. Take protein rich diet more. Avoid high sugar diet sweets, rice, potatoes etc. For more details consult me.

Please do not push-pull yourself too much so as to continue the pain. please do hot and cold compresses alternately to relieve pain Take proper sleep/rest Also take Mag phos 6x - thrice daily 4 tabs Also a x-ray of the affected are needs to be done - to rule out any bone deformity.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Try to manage at least 6 calorie dense meals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. This is possible to manage even in college. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. If you do not take meals properly and exercise you will just land up breaking muscle mass and lose even more weight. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements they will be of no use if your diet is not fixed. You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal before you even go for a supplement.

I don't have diet I hardly eat 2 or 3 roties in a day I am loosing my weight and don't have good health due to it I feel very bad so please suggest me good thing which can increase my health but I also don't want to take any protien so some other options which don't give any side effects.

Hi, you are suffering from nocturnal emissions. Don't worry this condition is very well treatable under homoeopathy. Take acid phos 30, 5 drops once daily in the morning and nux vomica 30, 5 drops daily at night. Revert me after 15 days.

The pain on your shoulder could be due a muscle spasm or impingement of the bone. You should take a session of 10 days of ift treatment physiotherapy for your shoulder and then do with a cold pack dialy twice for 10 minutes. Kindlly start on a few exercises for your shoulder as the physiotherapist will tell you. A few active exercises, then a resisted exercises and then you could do a few stretches for your shoulder. All this should help you to reduce your pain. Please note - do not o any exercises until your pian level has come down to 30%. Please do get back to me.

Some antidepressants may increase the risk of birth defects among babies born to mothers who took the medications early in pregnancy a study has shown.

The results of the study highlighted the importance of identifying the links between specific antidepressants and birth defects as opposed to associating risk with classes of drugs said the authors. They also acknowledged that the birth defects could be linked to factors other than maternal antidepressant use such as underlying medical conditions.

Hi, Take complete bed rest. Avoid spicy and oily food for about 1 month. Drink plenty of fluids like water, tender coconut, fresh fruit juices, etc. Take tab. Arogyavardhini 1-1-1 after food and tab. Liv. 52 DS 1-0-1 and Kumari Asava 2 tsf 3 times a day with equal quantity of water. Take all these medicines for about a month and repeat the blood and urine examinations to assess the bilirubin levels. Please follow these in your diet: - Avoid spicy, oily food and sweets. - Consume soft and easily digestable food like idlis, rice, dhal, curds, buttermilk, etc. - Drink plenty of fluids like tender coconut, water, fresh fruit juices, barley water, Sugarcane juice, etc. - Eat plenty of fruits like apple, chikoo, small bananas, musambi, dry grapes, musk melon, water melon, etc.

First and foremost take medicines for diabetes regularly. And follow these simple advices -Eat regular meals throughout the day at same time everyday. Avoid skipping meals. -Include high fibre foods at each meal i.e.Legumes (beans/lentils, nuts (almonds, walnut, eggs etc) ? -Take fruit as a healthy snack i.e. Apples, pears, papaya, mausami, jamun, guava -Avoid: grapes, mango, bananas, jackfruit,cheeku . -Vegetables to be included in plenty-at least 2 servings per meal. Include foods like daliya, oats, -Reduce the fat intake, fried foods, cakes, pastries and foods containing palm oil and coconut oil. Reduce salt intake in the diet to 1 tsp or less per day.Limit intake of sugar and sugary foods like sweets? if so desire can take sugarfree as sugar substitute . DIABETIC DIET CHART:: morning: 4-5 almonds soaked overnight in water or 1-2 walnuts 6: 30 a. M: tea + 2 mariegold biscuits (only for those who can't skip morning tea) 8: 00-9: 00 a. M: 2 roti + subzi + daliya /upma/poha/raw cheese/sprouts + 1 glass skimmed milk 11: 00-12: 00 a. M: fruits (only those permitted), salads, guava, papaya, pomegranate, cucumber, carrot, sprouts etc 1: 00-2: 00 p. M: 2 roti +dal + salads+curd/raita/buttermilk 4: 00-5: 00 p. M: tea + roasted chana/bhelpuri (only if hungry) 7: 00 p. M: salads/coconut water/lemon water (without sugar) 8: 00-9: 00 p. M: 2 roti +dal/khicdi + skimmed milk try to sleep daily on sametime till 11: 00 p. M. Special precautions: Avoid potato/sweet potato/arbi banana/cheeku/grapes/mango/litchi papads/ chatni/pickles/fried foods groundnuts/cashew/pista/raisins sweets/honey/cold drinks/jiggery Note: for preparing chapatis, use whole wheat flour mixed with chana flour or besan in 3: 1 proportion alongwith small amounts of soyabean flour.
