Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

your spinal cord is protected by spinal bones surrounding. these surrounding bones are small bones arranged one over the other starting from your neck to lower back. the neural foramina is the space in all spinal bones inside which the spinal cord runs. at each attachment of the small bones the spinal nerves branches out which supplies different segments of the body (for example spinal nerves branching at neck region supply neck and upper limbs). there a gel like substance in between each spinal bone giving lubrication to move on each other and giving cushioning effect while we walk, jump, ride etc. these gel like substance due many reasons may bulge out from the joint and enter the space in which the spinal cord is travelling. this in turn reduce the space of the space(narrowing of neural foramina) which pinches the spinal cord at that area. this will cause pain in the segment which is supplied by the spinal nerve coming out at that level. to reduce the narrowing the bulging disc should be treated. there is effective treatment for disc bulge in Physiotherapy.

I have pain in thigh from 2days after I had played football 3 days back and it was after long time so what did I do thn.
It's due to playing football, now apply ice give rest, if your having severe pain consult physio. Don't strain muscles try to avoid cycling, staircase, prolonged standing, and walking etc. After reducing pain you have strengthen your muscles. Try to do some physical activity at least daily 30 to 45 minutes. Then you won't face this type of pain.

Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, you must do regular physical exercises to first reduce the rate of osteoporosis in your bones. You should take high protein diet along with milk products like cheese, paneer and curd etc. Banana is quite rich in calcium. Take care.

Show her some fancy walking aids Tell her the pros & cons of her condition, what will be the drwabacks if she will not start using walking aid, her walking pattern might get worse, there could be a chance of frequent falls. So by using walking stick falls can be prevented.

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

She feels urge to get massage, and that too very forcefully and she always feel the heels to be rubbed against a pointed thing, whether the edge of bed, stairs and even comb. There are no bruises or swelling. Everything seems fine. Please suggest the best solution for this.

Show me x-rays of affected part. Till then sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring folding beds or thick matress are harmful do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference? Show me x rays ligament pull is quite frequent in competitive sports. Immediately after injury it is best to immobilize with a plaster cast for 2-3 wks. As of now proper physiotherapy along with external splints will help you. Take blo d3 max 1 tab./day. Paracetamol 250mg 2-3times a day will certainly take care of pain.

Hello, yes sir it will helpful for back support. Additionaly you will take some precautions also. Apply ice or hot water fermentation 3-4 times daily. Avoid forward bending activity. Avoid long time walking, standing, sitting. Lie on back. Avoid side lying. Do the breathing exercises.

A high uric acid level can be caused when your body either produces too much uric acid or your kidneys don't eliminate uric acid rapidly enough. A high uric acid level may cause increasingly frequent attacks of gout, or it may never cause problems. A high uric acid level may also cause some people to develop kidney stones or kidney failure. And some people with a high uric acid level also develop high blood pressure, heart disease or chronic kidney disease, but it's often unclear whether this is a direct cause or merely an early warning sign of these conditions. Factors that may cause a high uric acid level in your blood include: Diuretic medications (water pills),Drinking too much alcohol,Genetics (inherited tendencies),hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid),Immune-suppressing drugs,Niacin, or vitamin B-3, obesity,psoriasis, Purine-rich diet — organ meat, game meat, anchovies, herring, gravy, dried beans, driedpeas, mushrooms and other foods Renal insufficiency — inability of the kidneys to filter waste Tumor lysis syndrome — a rapid release of cells into the blood caused by certain cancers or by chemotherapy for those cancers,Also, you may be monitored for high uric acid levels when undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer. Avoid protein diets, avoid more milk products. bad habits , fast food/fat/oily,salty foods. Coffee, smoking, alcohol intake. Non-veg., take whole grain,oats,green veg.,plenty of water in day time, 1 glass of water at night before bed. Take tab. Zyloric 100 mg once a day. Tab. Ulracet sos for pain in joints.

If you have muscle pull then do cold therapy for initial 48 hours twice a day followed by hot fomentation twice a day. Do not lift heavy weights for few days and when your pain relieved do some strengthening exercises of shoulder, biceps, triceps & forearm muscles.
