Calcaneum spur is the general problem of ankle pain take valeriana Q 20 drops TDS and cacl. Flour 30 4 drops TDS. For one month and then consult me.

Kindly take rasnaerandai kshayam, 3 tsf in half a glass of warm water, twice a day, before meals. Take panchamruta loha guggal, 2 tabs, twice a day after meals with dashmoolarishta, 3 tsf in half glass of warm water. Take ashwagandha powder, 1 tsf in a glass of warm milk, 1 hr after meals, twice a day. Avoid lifting heavy weight, standing for long duration, soft mattress. And kindly consult soome ayurveda physician for basti treatment as it will solve all of your problems. Avoid cold eatables in your diet. Continue the regime for 45 days. Good luck.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at lower leg region just above ankle can be due to many reasons like involvement of tendons, nerves, vascular and some times stress fractures. If there is no associated swelling, redness, inflammation of skin, then my advise for you: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre match warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - I suggest you to get some blood tests: - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

I am suffering from pain in my leg on a regular basis what could be the symptoms of it.
Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Kindly show me x-rays of affected parts. Rheumatoid arthritis is a self limiting disease. Acute phase can be managed with medicines. Physiotherapy helps in preventing contractures & deformities. Keep your moral up! any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do knee exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4-5 days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference?
