I am feeling too much weakness now a days, and I also have dark circles under my eyes and also I have pain under my eyes. So please suggest me what should I do.

MD - Dermatology
Dermatologist, Pathanamthitta
Dark circles can occur if you don't get adequate sleep, so make sure you get at least a six hour sleep. Don't rub your eyes since this can aggravate darkness. Eye cosmetics vil harm a lot, so keep away. If you have any dust allergy, get it treated. Spent less time with a computer. Correct any anaemia if present. Have green leafy vegetables. Also, see an ophtjalmologist in this matter.

Hello Dear,According to Ayurveda, hair is a byproduct of bone formation. The factors responsible for building bones are also responsible for the hair re-growth. Ayurveda doctors believe that early hair loss is related to body type and the balance of the mind-body constitution (doshas). Excess pitta in the sebaceous gland, at the root of the hair, or folliculitis can make the person start losing hair. We loose hair after a certain growth and new hair replaces the older one, which means recycling of hair. Hair loss means losing more hair than you naturally lose. As our hair grows under a natural process, so we can take care of growth only by natural resources and methods. Visit us at www.Malhotraayurveda.Com

Water comes out from my eyes when I concentrate in something for a long time. What should I do?

MBBS, DOMS

Make sure you are reading in adequate light, correct distance (about 40 cm for reading books or mobile, 60 to 70 cm for computers), etc. If you are sure everything else you are doing is as per routine standards, but still watering continues, get yourself a complete (called comprehensive) eye evaluation by an ophthalmologist.

I have less eye power. I wear a power glass over 10 years but no improvement. What I do? Please advise me.

FICO, DNB Ophtalmology
Ophthalmologist, Gandhinagar
Hi lybrate-user. You could consider using alternative to glasses such as contact lens. If you want to get rid of your eye power completely for once and for all, you might want to consider other options: (1) refractive surgery (lasik) (2) clear lens exchange surgery. Operations done to remove the refractive error (power) of the eyes are known as refractive surgery (lasik). There are certain basic criteria that most patients need to fulfill before they can safely undergo refractive surgery. To enumerate, they are: (1) stability of refraction: the power of the eyes should have become stable for a period of 1.5 years minimum without any change. (2) curvature of the cornea should be tested by a technique which is known as topography. (3) thickness of the cornea should be measured by a test known as pachymetry. The minimum thickness required is 550 microns. (4) dilated retina evaluation: this is one of the most important tests that should be performed by a trained retina specialist. This test helps in detection of any offensive lesion on the central or peripheral retina. In case of any retinal abnormality, these should be treated before undergoing the surgery for number reduction. (5) there should be no pre-existent corneal abnormality. (example: corneal scar, opacity, defect, etc.) another important suggestion is that whenever you go for the assessment (the above mentioned tests), you should discontinue the use of contact lenses at least 4 weeks prior to the assessment. The reason for this being that use of contact lens temporarily alters the contour of the cornea. It takes around 3-4 weeks for the restoration of the original corneal contour after removal of the contact lens. Another important point is that you, as a patient, should be compliant to put post operative medication in your eyes for at least 2 months. There is bound to be some discomfort, watering, foreign body sensation, pain after the surgery in most cases-you should be ready to tolerate that. A leave from work for 7-10 days after the surgery should be generally sufficient. Last but not the least, you should set realistic expectations from this surgery. Though extremely rare, there is a remote possibility that the surgery may need to be repeated. Also, the need for subsequent treatment for the eye may be required. Thus, you should be compliant enough to trust and follow your eye specialist. Hope my suggestions help you, take care, regards.

Hai sir my name is Pranay, sir getting skin rashes on legs how can dissolve this problem.

Master in Psychology, MD - Ayurveda, Dems, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda,
Rashes are of many types may be infectious or non infectious. So it would be better to consult the doctor first to diagnose the disease. General remedies for rashes are.. · Coconut oil: it's one of the most soothing skin applications that you will ever find. Whether it's a simple rash or a more hurtful burn, a daily application of coconut oil a couple of times a day can help cure any skin reaction. Apply it with a light hand with fingertips on the rash for a few days till allergy subsides. · Petroleum Jelly: Another one of those solutions to multiple problems type of product. Every house's medical cabinet will have some staples and petroleum jelly is it. It does not contain any harmful chemicals and has a soothing effect on the skin. It not just relieves your itch, but it also ensures the skin irritation becomes less. It is safe as well as inexpensive so you don't have to worry about how often you apply it. Soft skin will be an added bonus. · Lemon: You might think lemon, because of its citric acid content might burn you would actually be surprised how Mother Nature actually works. Simple squeeze a little bit of lemon juice on to the rash and let it air dry. It might sting a little if you've already itched away at the rash and the skin is irritated but it would soon soothe it down once it dries off.
