Hello. We can minimize the pain during menses with diet and medicines (which are safe to take).. Diet: - Calcium is a mineral associated with building healthy bones and teeth. However, it may have some applications in minimizing the harmful effects of menstrual cramping. So,increase your intake by eating low-fat dairy products such as milk, yogurt and cheese or green leafy vegetables. - Your body uses vitamin B-6 to manufacture new red blood cells. When you lose red blood cells via menorrhagia, your body will need more to build new cells. Also, vitamin B-6 is required for your blood sugar to stay at healthy levels. This can help prevent menstrual cramping-related mood swings and fatigue. Vitamin B-6 is found in fortified cereals, bananas, spinach, sunflower seeds, avocados, tomato juice and salmon. - Just as foods can help reduce the symptoms of menstrual cramping and bleeding, foods can aggravate your symptoms. This includes eating excessive amounts of sugar -- such as cakes, cookies and pies. These are known to contribute to water retention, which make you feel bloated and uncomfortable. High-salt content foods -- french fries, pizza and other fried foods --- can also contribute to bloating. Caffeine-containing beverages like tea and coffee should be avoided as they can contribute to headaches, mood swings and trouble sleeping. - If you're craving chocolate, make sure it's over 70 per cent cocoa. This bittersweet treat will help you relax your muscles. - We all know fluids are essential when your body is cramping or bloating. Drinking two to three litres of water during your period is essential. - Tea is an easy way to replace your caffeine craving. Green tea to soothe cramps. now, even though green tea contains caffeine, try decaffeinated green tea instead — but be aware, you may lose some health benefits with a decaf version. Caffeine is another no-no. Drinking lots of coffee or pop during your period can increase higher levels of tension and anxiety. - Avoid anything that can damage your liver should be off the list. So, avoid alcohol. - Red meat, Smart says, is also know to cause stomach upsets and cramps. Medication: Start taking homoeopathic medicines - Mag. Phos. 6x and Colocynthis 200 - every 2 hrly. during the time of menses. And take Five Phos. and Alfaalfa Tonic - thrice daily for 1 month. Revert me back.

Hello, this may be due to hormonal imbalance..... Use warm water for drinking,take healthy ,warm food,fresh fruits,dry fruits,take proper rest,sound sleep,do yoga,pranayam,exercise. Avoid - chilled water,cold drink, foods kept in fridge,oily,spicy,outside food,water, avoid late night works, travelling ,overexertion during menstruation. best luck..

Hi. Doctor. I am 6 weeks pregnant and today I went for scanning for seeing baby heart beat. But doctor did not found heart beat. Doctor told me to wait. Hello, The main reason of irregular menses is any nutritional deficiency apart from many other reasons. Take more of green vegetables, nuts, salads, seasonal fruits, yellow coloured veggies, milk & milk products, plenty of water and enough of sleep & rest. Generally there is a faulty belief that fruits will help to get rid of constipation.

But the fact is this: Almost all the fruits (except lengthy kerala banana called nenthrappazham) owing to their cool nature will suppress the peristaltic movements and worsen constipation.
Similarly fruits can also aggravate infection, inflammation, blood pressure, chances of getting heart attack owing to impaired blood flow.
So fruits are not always healthy!

Personally I would say don't give bottle with breast. Most of mothers think that milk is insufficient. But it's not true. Weigh the child to find out adequacy of milk. And child should be fed every two hrly at two months. Breast should be given to child in consonance of his age in months. Three month old child is fed three hrly and. Six month old is given breast feed six hrly. Breast feed should be for 10-15 min. On each breast.

I had sexual intercourse and my partner ejaculated inside and I've had cist in my ovaries and I had intercourse 8days before ovulating and I had a little spotting few days after.

U should take ipill asap within 5 days, more sooner the better. Sperms can in rare situation live upto 7 days and ovulation can occur early. That spotting is most probably ovulation spotting.

Moaning is not a part of inter course, rather its a personal choice. Females do it willingly to make their partner feel happy. It doesn't happen on its own. If she is not getting to orgasm, then increase the foreplay and find out the parts of her body where she feels most stimulated and stimulate those parts before actual intercourse.

Hello, Its a regular oral contraceptive and have to be started from day 2 of fresh cycle and just 2 days of consumption will not protect against pregnancy.

I am a 24 year old girl and since twenty days I have been experiencing pain, inflammation and discomfort in vagina and it pronounced during urination. This happened 2 days after I had intercourse. The Dr. prescribed me levomac 500, becosules, allegra 120 and quadriderm RF cream (I couldn't get how to apply this) for 5 days. However, since a week I started experiencing very slight inflammation and discomfort again which increased after starting the course again since yesterday. I hope it's nothing very serious Please help.

Ms. lybrate-user As you asked about your problems related to your Vaginitis after sex I would like to advise you it is not very serious. You just wash with warm saline water or warm water boiled with fitakari and give fomentation with warm cotton over your vagina. You should continue it for 3-6 days twice daily. Make sure easy during sex. If you feel pain or uncomfortable stop it otherwise maybe serious injuries. You may use light paste of Haldi and water, warm it and mix little oil or Ghee and paste over vagina ,keep it up to dry and then wash it with warm water. It will help you.
