Hey. Thank you for your query. Weight gain is all about a balance of right nutrition and exercise. Here are some tips for you to get started: Eat a lot – This sounds much easier than it really is. Whatever you’re eating now, you should probably double it. If you eat three meals a day, instead eat six. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours, and each meal needs to be the size of a normal meal. This is going to be difficult for a few weeks, because you’ll often have to force yourself to eat even when you’re not hungry. Not just any calories though. Eat a lot of good things – You could easily get lots of calories eating burgers and pastries, and drinking aerated drinks but that will just make you fat. If you want to build muscle, you want to eat healthy calories that are loaded with good protein, good carbs, and healthy fats. Chicken, fish, meat, eggs, milk, almonds, peanuts. Eat lots of this stuff, all the time. Carbs will help you put on weight along with protein, roti, rice, wheat bread, bajra or jowar, etc. Will help you put on weight. Every meal should have vegetables and fruit. If you just eat protein, your body will resort to using it for energy rather than building muscle. Just taking protein shakes thrice a day will give NOTHING. Unless you’re eating a balanced diet, you won’t be gaining weight. Sleep – you need to be getting 8-9 hours of sleep every night for maximum gains. Your body is doing nothing but lying there and building muscle while you’re sleeping. If you are only getting 6 hours or less, you’re not going to get all the benefits of your exercising and diet. Cardio alone is not going to help– Running long distances isn’t going to help you. If you’re going to run, do sprints or run up a hill. Keep your distance cardio to a minimum if you want to put on some pounds. Make it part of your routine. It is not okay for you to skip meals if you’re serious about weight gain. You need to be eating well.

She doesn't need insulin at this stage. To control the blood sugar, she should avoid much sweets in food. Lower the amount of sugar in tea and other food items. Also, rice should be avoided. Eat more jamuns. They help in controlling diabetes.

Being packed with protein, calcium, and fats, cheese helps obtain healthy weight gain. One serving of cheese can give enough calories to your body. It really tastes delicious. Choose cottage cheese as it contains high quality protein ‘casein’, which takes time to digest, and thus, results in weight gain. For quick result, eat it before bed time.

How to gain weight while doing the gym and at the same time not using the steroids?
Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, sprouts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

Sorry to learn that you became a diabetic in spite of your healthy lifestyle. In most people, diabetes occurs as a combination of hereditary factors, life style, diet & over weight. There's nothing you can do about heredity, right? Thus, in spite of a healthy life style, your genes got you diabetes! Unfortunately, diabetes is NOT permanently curable. If you diabetologist's medicines, your lifestyle & diet have got your sugars well controlled, please continue. In the meanwhile, get evaluated for problems involving your eyes, heart, kidneys & feet. Please do NOT go for so-called herbal medicines sold thru TV shows.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. Clarified butter is an excellent source of saturated fat and calories, hence it can increase your body weight. Plus, clarified butter helps your body absorb more vitamins and minerals that help lubricate stiff joints and give your skin a healthy glow. 1. Mix one tablespoon of clarified butter with one tablespoon of sugar. 2. Eat this mixture twice daily, at least 30 minutes before eating your lunch and dinner. 3. Follow this routine for a month.

You must do several things correctly to gain weight. A healthy diet: this is the foundation of gaining weight. If you don't do this right, the other things you do won't be effective and could even be harmful. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts ( soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Your vision will fluctuate in diabetes if your sugar levels are fluctuating. In cases of mvp. The treating doctors evaluates you for risk of stroke and starts prophylactic treatment as and when required. Signs of eminent stroke are technically called tias or transient ischaemia attacks. This means small blood clots that form around your diseased heart valve enters your blood circulation and brain and temporarily blocks a small blood vessel. Depending on area of brain affected you will have symptoms as long as the circulation is compromised. Usually a few seconds to minutes. It could be transient blurring of vision, difficulties in speech or movement of a particular part of body. These blood clots can be readily detected on echo of your heart. I if you r a apprehensive about it. Please discuss with your treating doctor. Reading online about diseases can be scarier than actual reality.

Artificial weight gainers vs Herbal weight gainers.

Some young boys and girls come with the problems of underweight body built and often seek suggestions for Dexona and Practin and B complex

Honestly saying Dexona and Cyproheptadine should not be used for weight gain which is side effect of these medicines. These hormonal and anti allergic medicine also have fatal reactions sometimes by in discriminatory use of these medicines. Side effects are imminent.

Becosules supply vitamins to your GIT and supplements the shortage of such elements in body but is not responsible for weight gain.

If at all weight gain is required, be active, take good food with iron and other essential constituents. Adequate exercise, maintain good digestion. Yes you may take safe herbals which are slow but do not interfere with normal physiological activities in the body.

Hi lybrate user, vitamin d helps in calcium absorption hence they both are interconnected. Vit d is best absorbed from sunlight. Our body needs 30 mins of sunlight daily to synthesise vit d. In addition other sources for calcium & vit d. Are fish, milk, cheese, curd, eggs, spinach, soya beans, cod liver oil capsules. Depending on your test reports, the doc may recommend additional vit d / calcium supplements.
