I have acne over my face. I am using home soap but not getting any result. Please suggest me what should I do?
These are the methods to treat fastly acne - • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. Be healthy.

I had acute gastric pain my upper abdomen. Its stay minimum 5 days. Medicine I took sucral O, pantodac dsr. Now the pain is no more but I had this pen in January 2016 and its also relapsed in june 2016. But after eating food its becomes acid. I can't eat fast food any more. I want to get rid of it.

Dear lybrate user, you need to take homoeopathic carbo veg 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach. You can also try homoeopathic liver tonic liv-t (sbl company). Take 20 ml of the aforesaid liver tonic, thrice daily, after meals. Try to drink as much water as you can drink daily. Try to get an uninterrupted sleep of minimum 8 hours.

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4. Avoid late night sleep 5. Avoid to eat spicy food, besan, bekary food, overeating, junk food. 6. Every 3 day in month eat mung dal and rice for whole day.

This is because of less intake of water required for the body. Have plenty of water by mouth have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection it will be alright.

1.The best way to tackle skin dryness inwinters is by applying moisturizers after taking a bath. Remember to rub the cream along the direction of the hair follicles.Choose a moisturizer or a cold cream that contains oil because the skin isn’t producing the oils to keep the skin hydrated. A homemade moisturizing mask is made by mixing 1 teaspoon of milk with 1 tablespoon of honey and keeping it on for 20 minutes before washing off. You can also massage your body with olive oil after bath or before sleeping, this will make your skin supple. 2.For your skin to absorb more moisture, you need to exfoliate that is remove the existing layer of old cells. Now, remember to be gentle on this one as you can harm your skin if you are too forceful. You can use cosmetic products or use natural exfoliators like lime juice with sugar or oatmeal in the milk which also gives your skin a smooth texture. 3.Water is important no matter what time of year it is, but it is extremely important in the winter. You should drink at least eight glasses of water a day to replenish the water lost out of your skin by the winter air. 4.. Winters bring the worst out of our lips which need immediate attention. Use a highly moisturizing lip balm. Don’t use one with menthol as you will tend to lick it and that dries out the lips even more. 5.During winters your feet tend to feel left out with all the attention that your face and hands get. They end up looking dry with cracks in the sole.Apply an anti crack cream everyday and moisturize it. Wear socks to protect them from extreme coolness. 6.Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits in winter especially the ones which are rich in protein, vitamin A, B1, and B2. These foods include- dairy products, whole grain products, eggs, meat, legumes, and green leafy vegetables. By consuming these types of foods, you can help your skin build up a defense against the elements along with your regular skin care regimen. Intake of liquids helps your skin to retain the essential oils automatically and acts as a natural protection against dryness. Make sure you consume diet rich in vitamin C and vitamin E, which are essential to keep the skin soft and supple. Though most of the modern skin care products contain vitamin E, it is advised to drink milk and eat the white of an egg to assure regular intake of vitamin E. 7. Oil massages and sitting in the sun is the maximum limit in winter I extremely benefecial. This practice not only helps in absorbing heat of the sun but also helps in synthesizing Vitamin D that protects the bones. For Dry Skin The skin type which really cries out for help during winters is the dry skin. There seems to be no end to the problem because minutes after you apply the cold cream your skin is dry again. The culprit might be the drying effect of face wash and hand wash that you are using. These can make your already dry skin, drier. So for cleaning your face, use cleansing milks and lotions, followed by a toner. The type of bath you take also helps you to keep your skin supple, take short warm showers instead long hot baths. Because the longer the skin remains in water, more it dries out. Make sure you apply moisturizer as soon as you get out of the bathroom. Also remember to apply a night cream and other moisturizing creams before sleeping so that you wake with a soft supple skin. For Oily skin For those with oily skin, this is the season when their skin is at its best. As it naturally secretes more oil than other skin types, it won’t dehydrate as fast. But just because your skin is oily doesn’t mean that you can skip applying cold cream, you will also need to use the moisturizers and cold creams but ones which are oil free.

With the increase in environmental pollution, professional work load, proliferating stress, unhealthy lifestyle choices and general dietary indiscipline, the incidence of lifestyle diseases like hypertension, diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular diseases has increased manifold over the last two decades.

Other commonly occurring lifestyle diseases include depression, joint pain, fatigue, arthritis, metabolic disorders, early degenerative changes, early aging, respiratory diseases and gynaecological disorders. Ayurveda is a holistic system of medicine that focuses on improving your overall well-being, rather than just focusing on the symptoms of the disease. Being a complete natural based method, it has no side effects. Ayurvedic remedies for kidney stones emphasize on improving your lifestyle and diet to keep the energy balance in your body.

The causes of kidney stones range from factors such as an imbalanced diet, sedentary lifestyle and spicy food. Less water consumption is also a major cause of kidney stones. These factors cause problems in the various doshas in the human body, leading to diseases. It leads to toxin formation in the body called ama. These toxins trickle down to the urinary tract, causing crystals to form, thus leading to kidney stones.

Ayurvedic remedies consist of using diuretic herbs to dissolve the stones. Once the stones are dissolved, it is then recommended to use various cleansing techniques such as Panchakarma, which helps in strengthening the body. It is recommended to drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water daily and urinate whenever the urge occurs.

If the bladder stores the urine for a long time, then it leads to kidney stones. You need to cut down on foods that contain salt in excess. Add more green vegetables to your diet as they provide the body with essential nutrients such as calcium.

A comprehensive list of the changes you should make are:
1. Avoid eating dry and heavy foods
2. Limit consumption of coffee, tea, pickle based foods and cold drinks
3. Restrict consumption of non-vegetarian foods such meat and poultry
4. Drink adequate water regularly
5. Consume parboiled rice, brown rice and ginger
6. Consume lots of fruit juices, soup and water
7. Increase water consumption during summer months
8. Don’t suppress the urge to urinate

Some herbal remedies to control kidney stones are combining “mehendi” with water to form a decoction and then consuming it. Increase consumption of horse-gram as it decreases risk of kidney stones. Jaw is locked. Can not open mouth and also have problem of wisdom tooth on same side. Please advise.

Please visit your local dentist. If your daughter is between 18-25 it is very likely that the third molar/wisdom tooth is responsible for the same. She can try warm compresses at home or a muscle relaxant. If jaw is open and locked it needs to be treated by dentist.

Dandruff is a chronic condition and treatment has to be continued" use ketoconazole 2% shampoo twice a week. Avoid application of hair oil as it promotes dandruff" if you want, you can use oil for half hour before shampoo.

Hello Lybrate User, Travelling does create problems to follow a diet... .but what is life without some challenges.. We just need to look for alternate solutions. 1. Since you are travelling a lot.. always carry your tiffin from home. 2. Keep 2-3 apples with you so that whenever you feel hungry you can have them. 3. Keep low cal snacks like Peanuts or chana which you can eat when hungry. 4. Drink a glass of water every hour 5. Reduce all fried stuff like parathas / puris / samosas / kachoris etc. 6. Instead you can take poha / sprouts / fruit salad etc 7. Instead of Colas/Juices just take plain water. 8. Stay Fit stay Happy

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Our body has the inbuilt phenomena of storing food when we are having irregular meals or having long gaps. The best way is to eat every 3 hours in moderate amounts, a combination of more fibre, whole grains, legumes, 3-4 cups green tea, have something every 3 hours in small portions, 1 fist dry fruits to have virgin fats, limit aerated & sugary beverages, junk foods, fast foods etc. Including more protein will build muscles by burning extra fat and carbohydrates.

Hair fall has various reasons. It is important to understand the cause and then treat it. Diet plays a major role in hair fall. Food which is rich in minerals, protein and iron is good for hair. Oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week. Consult trichologist.

You should reduce your weight by exercise and controlled diet. Fatty liver is a condition where excessive fat deposited in the liver cell and disturb its function. Consult doctor.

Hair fall may be attributed to different reasons like using artificial colors, hair styling, chemicals etc. It may be due to some internal weakness also. Please go for herbal neem shampoo. Use shikakai and amla as conditioner (soak amla and shikakai in water overnight and boil a little in morning). Apply it on hairs. Keep for half an hour and then wash. It will condition the hairs. Avoid using comb in wet hairs.

Hi apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with chandrika soap.......
