I am feeling weakness from 2 days. What is the reason for this? And suggest me the treatment.

You can feel weak due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Whenever you feel weak, eat one or two bananas. You can also try a banana shake or smoothie. To help strengthen your body and keep from feeling weak, eat a ripe banana with one tablespoon of honey twice daily.

Hello Sir I'm 24 years old. And I'm soon becoming tired. I have less stamina. So for more stamina what I have to do. My weight is above 65. Waiting for your reply.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Lack of stamina can be due to poor nutrition. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well.    Exercise at least thrice a week.

Height and weight gain need a healthy wholesome diet with increase in proteins, healthy fats and required carbohydrate intake. Also exercises like swimming, running, cycling, playing basket ball etc ae important for potential height gain. Include more of fish, eggs, chicken, nuts and oilseeds, whole milk and milk products in your diet with ample quantity of fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not skip meals and eat frequently. Do some exercise along so that digestion is good. Take care that you do not have constipation and are properly hydrated. Miltan, Are you really 5 feet 10 inches at age 12? If so, ask your parents to go and visit an endocrinologist (specialist in hormones) and get yourself tested.

To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. There is a general approach and a specific approach as per individual patients metabolic profile. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If this is not enough then revert for further assessment and customized approach. 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Continue brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day.

Hair fall may be attributed to different reasons like using artificial colors, hair styling, chemicals etc. It may be due to some internal weakness also. Please go for herbal neem shampoo. Use shikakai and amla as conditioner (soak amla and shikakai in water overnight and boil a little in morning). Apply it on hairs. Keep for half an hour and then wash. It will condition the hairs.

Please note that hormonal imbalance/hereditary/sedentary-lifestyle can also lead to obesity. You need to do tread mill at least 30-45 min daily. Also take your meals at regular intervals -- do not skip meals. But take only 4 meals a day and nothing -nothing (except water) apart this four times. If you feel hungry apart from this 4 times then take cucumber/papaya only and nothing. Do get back to me after 4 weeks.

Looks like your mother has Diabetic Neuropathy. Consult your Diabetologist immediately & get her feet immediately examined & evaluated.
