Dear Mr. Lybrate-user, good evening. When you exert very much like playing football for hours together, you may get this type of pain, if your pain is very severe, kindly consult an orthopedician. To quit smoking, you can strictly follow some of my instructions. 1. Strong will power. 2. Reduce smoking to half ten days and then further to quarter number of what you are smoking for next ten days. When you reach 1 cigarette, then continue for next fifteen days. Then you smoke one cigarette on alternate days and then try to smoke on cigar per week and finally make it 1 cigar every two weeks and then 1 cigar every month and finally quit smoking. Thank you.

Hello, Whey protein consumption has to compliment good diet. Whey protein won't help you get results, you might get temporary results. Have natural diet to ensure all the nutrients are present in an adequate amounts.

This could be exhaustion headeche along with exposure of cold wind while doing down by motorcycle. You need rest in between. Or you could be having migraine which is intense throbbing pain on one side or both side of head maybe associated with nauseas vomiting sensitive to light and sound. At that time you should avoid driving. Take plenty of water by mouth. Take a tablet of paracetamol or calpol. You will be ok.

Hello, To increase your appetite you should take small & frequent meal. Take small quantity of food/ food items either you are hungry or not. It will increase your appetite slowly. To gain weight you must consume simple foods, which has enormous amount of calories & protein. Consuming lot of calories doesn’t mean that you have to over eat or over stuff yourself. You must always choose healthy sources of calorie dense foods. Eat foods with high amount of calories than your required metabolism. Never skip your meals and make sure you are including all varieties of foods like fruits, vegetables, cereals and foods with high protein in your diet. Dairy products like milk, yoghurt and cheese are rich in protein and calcium. If you are non-vegetarian then include Egg & meat Egg is a protein rich food with high amount of calories. Nuts are the most nutritious and protein rich food. Fruits are the best sources of carbohydrates, healthy sugars, vitamins and minerals. Do regular walk/ exercise.

Dear Lybrateuser, - To reduce pain do regular exercise like walking for 15-20 min daily - do hot fomentation twice a day - apply pain relief gel twice a day - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables including green leafy ones, protein foods like eggs, milk & milk products to provide the body with all the essential nutrients - have 7-8 glasses of water - take a pain relief tablet after meals if pain is more.

Hello Sir/Ma'am. Last month when I measured my weight on two machines it was 65 Kg. Yesterday when I again measured it on two different machines it showed 60 Kg. For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habbit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apittite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins. If you want ayurvedic medicine for weight gain, then consult me privately. There is a very good ayurvedic medicine for weight gain, that increases 3 to 8 kg weight in the 1st month itself, without any side effects.

Test thyroid if you don't have thyroid. Change food habites avoid too oily, ghee prepretions, fast, spacy, junck foods, over eating. Take simpal veg home made foods, take fiber foods. Do arobic excersices, yoga, walking will help.

Hye, Thanks for the query. It is possible you are not eating the right foods at the right time when needed by the body. Eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfil your needs. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

Dear Lybrateuser, -To increase your muscle mass you have to have a well balanced diet with more of proteins & do regular exercises -have protein rich foods like eggs, milk, cheese, yogurt, sea food, chicken, meats, beans, soya products, sprouts, tofu, legumes, peas, nuts like almonds, walnuts, pistachios, peanuts -do jogging, swimming, for 30 min, do moderate weight lifting at least 2-3 times a week, do push ups & chin ups to develop pectorals, give adequate rest to the part after exercise for 1-2 days -have 8-10 glasses of water per day -get check up done by a doctor to rule out klinefilter syndrome.

Yes, you need to increase the quantity of food you eat, but at the same time you have to make sure You are eating healthy. Eat five to six meals a day. Avoid skipping any meal. Increase your portion size. Choose foods that are higher in healthy calories. Do not skip any meal, especially breakfast. Whatever you eat at breakfast is better absorbed and utilized by your system. So don’t forget to take a handful of nuts everyday along with good quality protein, like toned milk and boiled eggs. Maintain a 2 hour window between each meal so that you can feel he hunger and eat better quantities. Avoid junk foods, they provide high calories but at the same time trans fats also. Drink pumpkin juice daily, add buffalo ghee on your diet, do not take spicy food, junk food, fast food. According to ayurveda your pitta dosha is elevated, reduce spicy food like pickle, chilly, salt, and sour things from your diet. In medicines take ashwagndha churan, shatavari churan, vidarikand, dhatupostik churan mix them take 1 tsf in morning and evening daily for 3 months.
