Hello Nutritionist / Experts, I have reached plateau in my weightless regime. Please suggest some diet plan or effective workout how should I break this. I am on plateau since 3 months. I am having 5-6 meals small portion every day approx 1000-1100 calories. And do Brisk walk 30 mins or climb steps for 15 mins and stretching. Please help me in breaking this plateau.

Hi lybrate-user try ds recipes for plateau breaking DETOXIFIERS - RECIPES Tangy citrus juice: Vitamin B3, B5, C, carotenoids, folate, potassium, fibre, lycopene, beta carotene, flavonoids Serves 2 Preparation time: 5 minutes Ingredients 2 oranges 1 grapefruit 1 lemon 1 sweet lime Method Peel and slice fruits. Bend in a blender. Serve. Aloe drink Vitamin C&E, malic acid, flavonoids, fibre, calcium, chlorine, folic acid, zinc, manganese Preparation time: 10 minutes Serves: 4 Ingredients 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel (slit the leaf and remove the gel) 1 cup chopped cucumber 1 cup chopped green apple 1& 1/2 -cup pineapple (peeled and diced) ½ cup coriander and mint leaves Method Mix the ingredients in a blender and serve. Celery-spinach Soup Calcium, iron, vitamin C, Vitamin E, carotenoids, fibre, magnesium, zinc Preparation time: 15 minutes Serves: 4 Ingredients 3 cups chopped spinach 2 tablespoons chopped celery 1 cup white pumpkin or bottle gourd (peeled and diced) ½ teaspoon garlic paste (optional) 4-cups water Salt Freshly ground pepper 1 cup steamed vegetables (carrot, green peas, zucchini, mushroom) Method Cook the spinach, celery and white pumpkin in 4 cups water and bring to a boil. Cool. Mix ingredients in a blender. Once again bring the puree to a boil; add the garlic and steamed vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Melon-grapefruit-papaya salad Potassium, papain, beta-carotene, phosphorus, potassium, vitamin C, zinc, lycopene, fibre, folate, flavonoids Preparation time: 5 minutes Serves: 4 4 cups watermelon, muskmelon and papaya (scooped) ½ cup sliced grapefruit 2 tablespoons chopped celery Dressing 4 tablespoons orange juice A pinch grated ginger Method Mix the fruits in a bowl. Blend the honey and orange juice; add the ginger. Pour over fruits as dressing.

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. 1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

I am suffering from vertigo from last 1 month, 24 hrs I feel like my head is swinging like lil hangover, actually it started 4 months ago but I got treated by a neurologist, he prescribed some medicine which I took for around 1.5 month and I the problem completely got vanished. But from the last1 month I m feeling the same problem, shall I continue the same medicine again or shall I contact doctor?

Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Eat more often. Drink milk. Try weight gainer shakes. Use bigger plates. Add cream to your coffee. Take creatine. Get quality sleep.

Please do a routine blood tests along with thyroid function test to rule out any thyroid abnormalities. To gain weight, its not necessary that you should eat more. Rather, timely food and regular exercise and proper sleep are the supporting factors. Your diet should include sprouted cereals and pulses that to be consumed with a pinch of salt. Drink 1 glass milk every day. Avoid drinking more tea if you have such habit. Consume more fruits. Some ayurvedic medicines to gain weight are follows 1. Dasamoolarishtam (30 ml to be consumed 2 times after food vis. Morning and night) 2. Shathavaree gulam (1 tsp in night after food)
