I have been experiencing loss of stamina from some time now. I get tired sooner then before. My diet is normal. What should I do.

Hi lybrate-user, I would suggest you to follow a diet rich in proteins (animal proteins like- chicken, eggs, fish etc and plant proteins like- soyabean, paneer, tofu, pulses, milk, soy milk etc) and iron. Do exercise for at least 20 minutes a day and keep yourself hydrated all day and specially during and after exercise. Avoid foods rich in saturated fats like fried and too much of junk foods and also avoid the intake of caffeine. Limit the intake of starchy foods like- rice, potato, arbi etc. Also increase the amount of fruits and fresh fruit juices that will also keep you hydrated and provide you with vitamins. Eat more of healthy greens rather going for unhealthy stuff. Good luck!

As long as you feel healthy and no symptoms, you do no€™t have to worry. Generally, as we get old, we lose muscles. To avoid muscle loss, make sure you take enough protein and be physically active.

Hi lybrate-user, you have to increase the amount of protein in your diet with good amount of carbohydrates. Take small and frequent meals. Tell me your eating habits so that I can suggest you something better for gaining weight.

Eat a lot of good things Protein = building block for your muscles Carbs will help you put on weight, but it won’t be muscle Keep track of everything you eat Compound exercises are your friend Appearance is a consequence of fitness Let your muscles rest Sleep Make it part of your routine Realize you will put on some fat U need to take a high protein high calorie diet.

I am a student and I played professional cricket till 2014. My physique was very fit by then but there after I have lost the flexibility and agility as a result of No workouts. According to your current weight and height your BMI is approx 26 and it comes under overweight category. And your ideal weight should be around 88 kg. As per my suggestion you should start doing workout. Start with shorter duration then you surely move forward you need some motivation for that so opt for sum motivational videos. Many times we feel tired because for over daily routine and our bad lifestyle I hope when follow the right track these things will vanished from your life. Start including good protein in your diet. And if you want you can go for your haemoglobin test and thyroid. Just as normal health checkup.
