Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Alcohol. Avoid alcohol consumption. Do pranayama early morning.

Doctor. I have problem in my knee from last some month's. I consulted many doctors but they are saying it's a normal thing regular cycling and swimming will help you and they gave me some medicines. They are saying the liquid something dried up. I get a crackling sound and I cannot climb on stair case properly not even able to run properly. I get swelling sort on my knees when I do exercises or walk for some time. What should I do am tensed about my knees. kindly help me with a solution.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Good morning library user please tell does your shoulder pains only while driving or it pains afterwards also please check your position while driving make seat adjustment so that your hand will be in a proper and relax position start doing some neck and shoulder stretching exercises if pain continues then do some physio therapy sessions and let us know.

Hi, This is sciatica due to your l5 disc extrusion. The bulging disc will need to be reduced. See a spine specialist for surgical treatment.

You need a proper sports injury physiotherapist session which work on your injured shoulder. Starting with simple hot fomentation, rhythmic exercises, isometric exercises, isotonic exercises gradually move towards exercises with light weights to medium weight exercises according to your need which gives your joint proper stability by improving the strength.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of wrist pain, it can be due to inflammation of tendons around the wrist, can be secondary to swelling, ligamentous strain or injury etc. If there is only localized pain with no other s/s of inflammation, start with conservative management like ice packs, anti inflammatory medication, wrist brace for 2-3 weeks and then let me know. If it does not improve, we might have to get a few investigations done for evaluation. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.

Hi . Sciatica is due to nerve compression. You must get an mri do see if the lumbar disc has prolapsed and if it is compressing the nerve. If it is then you will need physiotherapy and back strengthening exercises. For pain relief steroid medications can be prescribed after consulting with a neurologist.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
