I am suffering from pain in my legs and left toe for several months and when I woke up in the morn I feel pain in my legs. I also have some pain and burning type feeling in my left hand. If someone masag my left hand I feel some burning sensation like feeling. My vitamin d3 level is 15. I take supplement for that but the pain and my problem remains same. What should I do. Pls help.

This might be due to lack of nurtitions+ increased body heat too. Take 2 spoons of ghee with milk 2 times a day for min 15 days. Do regular stretching exercise.

Backacke can be due to numerous reasons like back strain, big tummy, slip disc, lumber spondylosis. For best treatment please send an x ray image & consult privately. Till then you can do following home remedies: 1) mix camphor in coconut oil and boil it. Massage it followed by hot fomentation. 2) have turmeric & honey milk. 3) put a hot-water bag on back supported by a cushion. 4) add ginger while brewing your tea 5) if you are overweight, go for weight loss program 6) stay away from cold, go for hot water baths.

Hello lybrate user according to Ayurveda Vata vikriti is the main factor for pain.... Please go for an MRI to get a more clear view of your problem meanwhile you can use lumber belt to support your back and some back and core strengthning exercise.

My forehead pains above my eyes. Also the back of head above neck pains a lot daily. The muscles have became stiff and hard, has an pin point shooting pain. Is it due to stress or cervical spondylosis please suggest medication.

Can be solved through acupressure/ acupuncture easily. Try this for 3 days. Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. For headache press 10 times your thumb sideways and front and back. Inhale while pressing and exhale while releasing this can be done on both thumbs consult me after 5 days for further treatment.

Multivitamins can be taken if you want but they will not relieve your back pain. Backache in young age is commonly due to 1. Muscle strain resulting from improper posture. 2. Intervertebral disc bulge or prolapse. Follow these treatment guidelines to get relief. 1. Sit with straight back and change posture in between. Do not hunch and feet should rest on floor while seated. 2. Take breaks in between work and walk. 3. Take rest when back pain is severe but avoid total bed rest. 4. Do back strengthening and stretching exercises daily. 5. Take anti inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen if pain is persistent. 6. Apply analgesic cream over back followed by warm fomentation. 7. Keep pillow behind your knees at bedtime. 7. Do not bend and lift weights. 8. If back pain is accompanied with radiating leg pain or tingling , numbness or weakness, consult immediately .

Dear Dharamraj, , Get a MRI done to pin point the cause and site of pain . Meanwhile go for Ayurveda's Panchkarma Therapy - We have many option for u - Kati Basti (Specialised Panchakarma procedure for Backpains), Localised Massgae with Herbal oils, Localised Medicated Steam, Pottali Massage. Continue these procedures for atleast 15 days. Regular oiling of the joint will improve the lubrication also. These procedures will relax ur back muscles and give strength to ur nerves and muscles of back. also start some Yogic exercises - Tadasana, Dhanurasan, halasana along with these therapies. This will greatly help. Please avoid pushing / pulling heavy objects, long sittings, long two-wheeler drives. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Hi lybrate user. Based on your height and weight. Your bmi is 28.7 which comes in'overweight' category. So you need to work out ways to reduce your weight. 2. Your swelling can be due to thyroid problem so please get thyroid test done along with liver / cholesterol / kidney / sugar profile / cbc + blood pressure checked. There may be other issues. 3. To get rid of boredom start some hobby or learn something online etc. 4. Don't keep munching foods at home 5. Go for walks in a nearby park. 6. Team up with other ladies for this. 7. Keep lots of salads and fruits easily available so that you don't overeat. Health is wealth! don't lose it!

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Hello, thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of pain in lower back region. It can be due to faulty posture, related to weak muscles, issues with intervertebral disc, narrowing of spinal canal, any bony instability besides many other, so accurate diagnosis is the key to proper management of the condition. You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your back pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. First you need to loose weight, and for which you have to be patient. See a proper physiotherapist for knee issue, and dietician for proper eating habits. YOu should loose weight in couple of months.
