How soon can I have sex with my wife after a Caesarean. Caesarean date: 15-07-2016.

MD - Alternative Medicine
Alternative Medicine Specialist, Mumbai
Hello, According to many healthcare experts, you need at least six weeks of rest before you can have sex again. This is ample time for your cervix to close, any tears/repaired lacerations to heal, and for your post-delivery bleeding to cease. You can also opt to wait longer before having sex if you feel the need to. Actually, some women will resume sex only a few weeks after giving birth while others prefer waiting longer than the six weeks. Some factors that can cause further delays in resuming your sex life include fatigue, fear of pain and stress. There are also many tips you can take while trying sex after c section to make the experience more pleasurable. Stay Healthy - Naturally.

Health benefits of Honey

Health benefits of Honey
Nature's energy booster
The benefits of honey go beyond its great taste. A great natural source of carbohydrates which provide strength and energy to our bodies, honey is known for its effectiveness in instantly boosting the performance, endurance and reduce muscle fatigue of athletes. Its natural sugars play an important role in preventing fatigue during exercise. The glucose in honey is absorbed by the body quickly and gives an immediate energy boost, while the fructose is absorbed more slowly providing sustained energy. It is known that honey has also been found to keep levels of blood sugar fairly constant compared to other types of sugar. So, to experience these health benefits of honey, here are a few tips for you:
1. Next time before you go for a workout, take a spoon of honey to enable you to go for the extra mile.

2. If you are feeling low and lethargic in the morning, instead of reaching out for a can of carbonated energy drink, try honey. Spread it on hot toast or replace the sugar in your tea with it for a refreshing surge of energy.

Health benefits of honey image3. If your kids are finding hard to cope with the physical strain from the buzzing activities at school, prepare them a honey drink, some sandwiches with honey, butter and ham to make sure they have enough energy to sustain through the day. And for optimal sleep and recovery cycle at night, give your child a spoonful of honey before sleep on a daily basis.
Immunity system builder
Amongst the many health benefits of honey, what is most impressive to me is that honey can be a powerful immune system booster. It's antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties can help improve digestive system and help you stay healthy and fight disease. Start every brand new day with this cleansing tonic if you want to see this health benefit of honey: before breakfast, mix a spoonful of honey and lemon juice from half a lemon into a cup of warm water and drink it.
Honey is anti-cancer!
Can honey help fight cancer? what many people don't think enough of or have overlooked is - honey possesses carcinogen-preventing and anti-tumour properties! there are now more and more studies pointing to the potential role of honey in the prevention and the progression of tumor and cancer. More in: can honey fight cancer? and honey is anti-cancer

Pre-seminal fluid does not contain any sperm, meaning the fluid itself cannot get you pregnant. However, if sperm is “left behind” in the urethra from a previous ejaculation, it can come in contact with the fluid. Pre-ejaculate, also referred to as pre-ejaculatory fluid, preseminal fluid, or Cowper’s fluid (colloquially pre-cum), is a fluid that’s released by the Cowper’s glands, two small glands located along the male reproductive/urinary tract. The fluid is clear and typically noticeable at the tip of the penis during an erection, although this isn’t the case for all men. The purpose of the fluid is to help neutralize the acidic environment of the uretha, and also to offer protection to sperm that travel that through. This is where pre-seminal fluid and unprotected vaginal sex can lead to pregnancy. Once the sperm in pre-ejaculate enters the vagina, it can fertilize the egg, even if a man pulls out before ejaculation. “The chance of getting pregnant from pre-cum is much less than the chance of getting pregnant from semen, but it still might be possible,” says Planned Parenthood. So, can you get pregnant from pre-ejaculate? Yes, but rarely.

My wife 51years old is having multiple ovarian cysts about 30mm sizes, since 15years without pain. What should be done?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Mumbai
These cyst must be a part of her pcod as her wight is also 90 kg. Primary objective of your treatment is weight reduction. This will regularize the monthly cycles and also help you get pregnant. You can take metformin to reduce weight. For reducing your weight you should have brisk walk or jogging for 4-5 km daily, high protein diet (fish, chicken, mutton without fat, pulses, mushrooms), low carbohydrate diet (avoid rice, chapatti, bread, poha, upma, idli, dosa, potato, sugar etc and can use bhakri instead) and low fat i. E. Less oil and preferably use rice bran oil. If she has already stopped her menses and still there r cysts present then she should be investigated for other causes like ovarian tumor, ca125, ct scan if needed.

Postures for a Fit Spine

M Ch. Ortho, MS - Orthopaedics, MBBS

Postures for a Fit Spine

The way we sit, walk, bend or stand is hugely dependent on one very vital organ of the human body; the spine. The spinal column provides strength and support to your entire framework. It has nerves, muscles, bones and tendons; all of which enhance proper functioning of your body. The human brain sends signals to the nerves in your spinal cord, a mass of nerve fibers and tissues ensconced within the spine, which further prompts every single part of your body to perform minute and notable actions all the same. A spine injury can, thus impair your health; in many cases it can even turn out to be fatal. Care should be taken to avoid sources of spine shock or injury. If an injury has already been acquired, it should be treated either through exercising or through medical assistance.

A few postures to reap the benefits of a fit spine:

  1. Twist your spine either early in the morning or after a tiring day: Fold one leg while the other leg remains perched on the folded one. If the left leg is folded the left elbow should be rested on your perched right knee and the right palm should be placed on the yoga mat behind your right hip. This posture can be repeated by folding the right leg as well. It increases spine mobility by twisting it to the end of its range sideways. Muscular spine aches can be remedied by following this posture once each day.
  2. Do not slouch but sit straight: Some people are in the habit of slouching when they sit or stand. This is an absolutely wrong thing to do if your spine health is of any concern to you. Stretch out your shoulder blades and remain erect while standing and the same should be followed while sitting. Bending one's spine, unless it is necessary, can be very harmful.
  3. Stretch your spine in three directions: This exercise is a good way to allay the tension your spine has to undergo every day. Sit with folded legs, intertwine your fingers and stretch your arms upward, in front and at the back to expand your spine to the full.
  4. The downward doggy posture can relieve back pain: In this yoga posture, one is expected to stretch his or her legs according to the width of the person's back and stoop forward by placing the palms on a yoga mat. Knees and elbows should not bend.

You're likely familiar with the G-Spot (nope, it's not a myth?here's where the G-spot is), which experts generally pinpoint as being about an inch or so inside the front of your vagina, but vaginal orgasms don't necessarily originate exclusively from that spot. ?Some women find that other areas of their vaginal canal may also produce pleasure,? says Hertlein. Explore with light pressure and see what feels best for you. Start with lube. ?Aging causes the vaginal wall to thin, which can make deep penetration potentially painful,? says Hertlein. To avoid any unpleasant sensations, make sure to have lubricant on hand and use it liberally during any positions where the focus is on deeper penetration. (Find out which lube ingredients to look for and which ingredients you should avoid.) Try a new position. ?A position like 'woman on top' allows you to control the depth of penetration,? explains Hertlein. Or, simply slowing down the pace and making sure your partner moves slowly and deliberately can enhance your awareness and help you focus on physical sensations intercourse. Practice Kegels. You've likely heard of Kegel exercises?squeezing and releasing the pelvic floor muscles. Adding Kegels to your routine a few times a week will build your PC muscles, which enhances your overall orgasmic capacity for try some other sexual positions and available vaginal tightness creams and medicenes also any queries ask privately...for sex positions
