Dear lybrate user, you should avoid carbohydrates from your diet. Take protein, salads, fruits fibre food etc. Drink plenty of liquids in a day. Avoid sugar and ghee.

Healthy diet: while trying to gain weight, the focus should be more on eating healthy foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals. Healthy food includes meat, poultry, unsaturated plant fats, low-fat milk, healthy starch content, vegetables, fruits and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. Research suggests that umami flavour inrceases satiety and enhances appetite.

Increase your plate size.Eat more food. more frequently.Use whole cream milk.Use weight gainer supplement.Add more ghee,cream,butter,cheese with food.Use dense fruits,vegetables.Add more healthy fat in cooking.Take more almond,cashew,walnut,flax seed,sunflower seed.No water before or during meals.Sleep for 7-8 hours and lead an active life.

I am suffering from Diabetes from last 5-6 years, but about 3-4 months I feeling very weakness, nervousness.
Jamun is a very good ayurvedic source to keep diabetes in check and so is methi dana and bitter gourd. 1. Mix ½ tsp Turmeric Powder + 1 tsp Amla Powder + ½ tbsp Methi Seeds Powder in half glass of water and take daily in the morning on empty stomach. You can also grow methi sprouts and eat them. 2. Remove the skin and seeds of 4-5 bitter gourds. Crush them to a make a paste. Press this paste on a sieve an extract the juice. Drink this juice on an empty stomach every morning. 3. Boil 1 L of water. Let it simmer for 20 min on low flame. While simmering, add 3 tsp of cinnamon powder. Strain the mixture. Drink entire amount of this water everyday. 4. Take a tablespoon of jamun powder everyday.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. What should I do to gain fat?
Start taking more nutritious food. Eat frequent healthy meals many times a day. Add fruits, vegetables, nuts and dairy to your diet. Eat oats, almonds and milk in morning. In afternoon, eat chapatis, daal, chawal, curd and salads in evening eat sprouts at night, eat paneer, roti and sabzi during bed time - have a glass of milk also, do exercise to challenge your body. If you want your body to come out of their current comfort stage and increase in size you have to start moving it. Your nutritious food will directly go into your system and will help you grow.

Supplements cannot substitute for a healthy diet. Have a balanced meal with dal, curd, fresh seasonal vegetables, sprouts, fresh fruits and milk . For upper body target 100 pushups daily 25+25+25+25=100. This becomes 3000 pushups in 1 month and 36, 000 in 1 year for lower body do cycling, squats and skipping or running. If you can do this regularly your muscles will be unbeatable.

Hi lybrate-user, to increase weight in the form of muscles you have to take high calories high protein diet. Try to take protein in natural form like milk & milk products like curd, paneer, butter milk (lassi), dal, sprouts, roasted chana, sattu and if you are non veg eater take egg, chicken fish, these are the best sources of protein. You can also include dry fruits like badam, akhrot in daily routine. Don't go for the shortcut just take well balanced diet which should be included all food groups like milk cereals, pulses, vegetables and fruits. If it is not sufficient with the diet than go for the supplements but make sure you are doing sufficient physical activity for approx 40-50 minutes daily.

Hello, according to ayurveda weight gain not only depends upon heavy diet but also on other factors like proper digestion, sound sleep, and mental relaxation. Your excess diet/protein powder is not being digested and hence major of its portion is being wasted as excreta. Try these modifications for weight gain- a) avoid fast food and spicy diet. B) avoid late night sessions. C) wakeup early before 6: 30 and perform yogasana like pawan muktasana and slight running schedule. D) increase sweets and dairy products in your diet. E) try to sleep at least eight hours a day.

Weight gain is muscle gain. You can never gain the desired weight in 1 month. You will need at least 6 months to a year for the weight gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals (high calorie) in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fuits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated.
