Hello Mhonya. If you have scanty menses and if you are anaemic it is absolutely normal. You just need to start with haematinics. But if have irregular menses and / or scanty menses without anaemia it requires medicinal management.

Hi lybrate-user, yes TSH 3.4 is high at this gestation and with advancing gestation your thyroxine demand will increase. Hence, I would suggest you to increase the dose of thyroxine after discussing with your obstetrician and repeat TSH in 4 -6 weeks time. Take care.

Hello lybrate user- prolonged menses or over flow during menses is known as Atyartava disease in ayurveda. It occurs due to improper diet and daily schedule. Try these tips to overcome this diseases- a) Avoid salty and spicy foods, avoid fast foods, green leafy vegetable and curd. B) Go to bed before 10 pm. C) Increase dairy product other than curd in your diet specially cow's ghee. D) Use Ashokaristha 2 tsp twice daily with water and tab pistil forte 1 tab twice daily.

It means I have to sex within 5 to 10 & 19 to 28 days after periods started to avoid pregnancy.

Dear user Count the day of bleeding as Day 1 Usually female bleeds for 3-5 days Therefore up to 10th day after bleeding no pregnancy can occur but don't have sex with female when bleeding to avoid infections. From 11th -18th day chances of pregnancy so no sex no pregnancy Then again 19th -28th day can have sex but pregnancy will not happen This is considering 28 day cycle.

PCOS has no cure.Treatment may involve lifestyle changes such as weight loss and exercise. Birth control pills may help with improving the regularity of periods, excess hair, and acne. Metformin and anti-androgens may also help. Other typical acne treatments and hair removal techniques may be used. Efforts to improve fertility include weight loss, clomiphene, or metformin. In vitro fertilization is used by some in whom other measures are not effective.
