Yes she can conceive, ipill can be taken but it will not ensure abortion if she conceives, so ideally it would be better, if you wait until her due date and only if she is tested positive for pregnancy should you be giving her pills.

Hi lybrate user, you can use contraceptive pills or condom. But pills will be better option. As condom has high failure rate as compared to pill

I have irregular periods and this month I got my period and it has exceeded more than 15 days.

BHMS, MD - Alternate Medicine
Homeopath, Nagpur
I have irregular periods and this month I got my period and it has exceeded more than 15 days.
In majority of the cases irregular menses are accredited to hormonal imbalance, but in some cases it may be pathological and secondary to some pathology of ovaries mostly. Now if you want to regularized the menses then you must establish permanent balanced first and this can be achieved only with homoeopathy, because in modern medicine we get only a hormonal support with a very temporary relief. But with homoeopathy you can strike the hormonal balance permanently which later on also give you regular menses even if you stop the medicine.

Risk of pregnancy is less if you have sex during 1 st week of period counting from day 1 since it is a safe period. However do a pregnancy test 10 days after the missed period if any and consult doctor for further advice.

Hello Lybrate user, that stomach pain and next day bleed is not related to pregnancy, it is due to hormonal effects of I pill, it increased oestrogen level which causes pain and bleeding, As no contraceptive way is 100% so better to go for urine pregnancy test. These missed period can also be due to I pill side effect, but it is necessary to rule out pregnancy.
