BEAT THE HEAT

BEAT THE HEAT-

Having traveling kit with advantage of the nutrition we can easily beat the heat of the summer.

Summer is the time when most of us bring out the summer wear and hit the beaches to beat the rising temperature and roaring heat of the summer.

Your dietary habits also play a major role for your body to fight with the rising temperature outside.

Here are some of the foods which when included in diet will help you to beat the heat.

Water melon-it contains more than 80% water thus satisfying your thirst and helps you hydrated.

Fruits increase consumption of fruits like berried and melons

Mangoes –it’s loaded with beta carotene, vitamins c and fibers but diabetics be conscious.

Cucumber- is 20% more cooler than other vegetables

Vegetable salads- it’s the excellent summer choice .don’t load them with fatty dressings like cream, mayonnaise etc. keep the dressing to its minimum. Use lemons, vinegar and seasoning

Include red oranges and yellow vegetable like pumpkin squash .peppers as they are loaded with vitamin A&C & anti- Occident.

Cold soup –start your meals with them like chilled cucumber or tomato soup

Low fat drinks –fresh fruit juices, butter milk, lemon water, and raw mango juices are excellent for the seasons.

Low calories fruits based desserts-low fat milk custard with fresh fruits, fruit smothers.

Whole grain and cereals0avoid refined once.

Bean and legumes- instead of animal protein concentrate on plant protein in summer as they are low in calories, cholesterol and saturated fat.

Fried foods-avoid them as they increase the thermal effect of your system and causes discomfort

Water- last but not the least nothing can be as satisfying and refreshing as a glass 0f water .always keep your self-hydrated.

This could be implantation bleeding so if proper menses does not start by 18th then please get urine pregnancy test done. Hormonal changes also can cause this. If negative then keep repeating the test weekly till you get menses.

Me and my husband trying to do sex but my vagina is not opening during sex and before it was discharging liquid but now it is full dry. What is the reason. please solve.

BHMS
Homeopath, Hooghly
Well it's mainly because of vaginal dryness, which have some causes like hormonal-when oestrogen- level decrease dryness occur, some drug like anti allergic, drug for cold n cough have some impact on this, low libido or sex drive of partner also causing dryness of vagina, certain allergens like detergent, dye, hygiene products, soap have impact on some female, anxiety is another cause, soo you have to apply lubricant and moisturizer, also you need proper homoeopathic treatment to cure your problem permanently.

Congratulations for losing the weight. Normally the interval between two menses counting from 1st day of menses to that of the next, is about 21-35 days. If your menstrual cycle length on an average is in this range it is normal. Menstrual cycles occur due to a complex interaction between the hormones released from the brain with the effect they have on the ovaries and uterus. Menstrual cycle length can be changed by thoughts, and some emotional events like exams, stressful events, birth, death in family etc you have been suspected to have pcod and this is a very common finding nowadays. Pcod is not an unsurmountable disease, and it can be helped with medicines and some lifestyle modification. During pcod the body's chemical capacity to utilise glucose is altered, and hence there is a cascade of events like weight gain, irregular menses, acne and darkening of skin etc. Weight gain is crucial factor. You have been experiencing weight gain too. The best way to curb this disease is to control weight using a multi modal approach like - diet -exercise - medicines. The weight loss that you have achieved is good, keep the effort on so visit a good dietician and chart out a healthy diet, do regular cardiovascular exercises which help in burning the excess fat thats accumulated as excess weight in body. If your weight goes down by even 5 kg, you will experience a good regularisation of your menstrual cycle on it's own, without resorting to any medications. At 27, if you are married and desire to have a child then suitable medicines cna be given to help you to have ovulation. This will cure the pcod too if you are not married or are married and do not wish to conceive then some different tablets can be given to you to prevent the pcod from becoming worse and to regularise your cycles. Of course we can give medicines to help patients with pcod, but they are not the only factor that can regulate this disease. Life style modification is the cornerstone in management of pcod.

Secondary amenorrhoea (menstrual cycles ceasing) is often caused by hormonal disturbances from the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland, from premature menopause or intrauterine scar formation. An overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism) or underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism) can cause menstrual irregularities, including amenorrhea. Pituitary tumor. A noncancerous (benign) tumor in your pituitary gland can interfere with the hormonal regulation of menstruation. Premature menopause. The female reproductive system can be affected, too. In fact, for some women, stress may play a role in causing irregular or missed periods. As stress levels rise, there's a chance that your menstrual period will temporarily stop, a condition known as secondary amenorrhea.

Sexual desire is a state of mental tuning, which sometimes gets switched off due to mental or physical stress, poor sleep and also due to harmonal changes, suggest you don't get overworked or tired ,and also take some folic acid, iron vitamin and calcium supplements, also use some lubricants to overcome your vaginal dryness.

I am 23 years old. I suffer from severe menstrual cramps every month. I don't want to take medicine but it's painful....
Its normal for many women to have cramps during menses, severity may differ, so many women don't need medication. Dysmenorrhoea i.e. menstrual cramps is a psychosomatic situation and intensity of cramps is more in tensed and stressed females. Once in a while taking medication with the guidance of experts is alright but for long-term one need to learn to understand and accept lows of life and also learn to manage these lows. if You cant manage this on your own then connect online or in person to interact and learn to relax by guidance, support and if needed Psychotherapy.
