Masturbation is ok and enjoyable if you do it in control but if you are addicted to it, consider the situation that as soon as you are alone, you think of masturbating, then thats not a very good sign. Most importantly, you may not be able to take good care of your time and do something constructive if you are always thinking about it. Secondly, there will come a day when you start enjoying masturbation more than actual intercourse which will leave your partner unsatisfied. Also, with lots of masturbation, your brain will adjust itself to ejaculating quickly because you are not enjoying a partner and just want to reach the climax (ejaculation) quickly, so this will lead to problem of premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction in long run.

I am a blood sugar patient and taken insulin in 2 times daily with one metformin tab (Citapin XR 500mg). Even though, it was not controlled. Although I am running restricted life. Please. Give your opinion.

Control of Diabetes is a is therapy done by a combined and serious team consisting of The Patient and the physician. Physician advises. Unless the recipient, I mean the patient seriously asks Physician is also can not give you the fullest. Its a psychological bond which is above all a professional advice only. Your uncontrolled diabetes may due to either your non compliance to the advice of physician or incompetent advice of the physician. I have no reason to believe the second part of the statement. I may believe at this juncture to stick to the following part and retest your BS fter 15 days. If you see any improvement, go back to your doctor and listen list him and follow his advice. If he is not giving your satisfactory attention, I know you know what to do. A patent always choose he physician not the physician choose his patient. He may love him with empathy. 1) Brisk Walking 5 Km daily - whether over weight or not, of course if it is not contraindicated by your treating physician. 2) Keep your Body Mass Index within 24 Kg / Meter Square of your body surface area, that is your healthy weight - by exercise and dietary management. 3) Diets - STOP the following - Sweet, Sugar, Potato, Fried substances, Starchy foods, Sweet drinks, Canned juices, Ice creams, Processed juice of any type. Butter, Cheese Avoid rice (if at all never more than one leveled Tea Plateful / day) Normal or high protein. Low fat. High fibre - Leafy vegetables + Vegetables (particularly less starchy and coloured one, which contains more antioxidants) 4) Meditation for 20 mins daily Hope its OK for the time being.

I can understand your worry because you are not getting enough sleep and you might not be getting up fresh in the morning to attend to your daily routine. Many people like to go through the days happenings or previous days and take stock to prepare for the next day or the future. Some people can manage thus with ease because they are confident and capable of assessing and evaluating situations. Others feel overwhelmed and anxious about the future because they don't feel prepared to face the future and ring themselves rather inadequate. They even think of the worst case scenario and believe that it'll happen. But mostly it's not true and sometimes there is exaggeration of the reality. 2. I suggest that before sleeping you do pranayama like bhramri and anulom vilom to reduce the number of thought coming and the related anxiety. Try breathing deeply to the count of 2-2-4 meaning inhale for 2 counts, hold breath for 2 counts and then exhale for 4 counts. Dothese pranayama for 15 min and then sleep. 3. I also suggest that you do a realistic evaluation of your problems and any discard any kind of exaggeration, generalisation, black and white thinking, irrational thoughts etc. Replace these thought with more appropriate and updated thoughts which are realistic and helpful. Remember that running away from any life challenge will only buy you temporary mental peace. Sooner or later the problem will come back in a different form. 4. Exercise everyday for 45 min to release natural neurotransmitters in the brain which reduce anxiety. This could be walking, dancing, running, gym, etc. 5. Reduce all junk and high sugar foods from your diet. Eat brain healthy foods rich in proteins, complex carbs and good fats. Junk food is directly linked to increased anxiety and insomnia. 6. Undergo counselling to learn to manage your problems more efficiently without feeling too anxious. Take care.
