common issues due to being under-weight are: ? Bone loss ? Heart problems ? Infertility ? Anaemia and ? Weak immune system Generally, people take wrong path to gain weight in absence of proper knowledge and start eating high calories food like pizzas, parathas and other junk foods. One can gain weight but results would not be favorable at all. These things may lead to low metabolism, weak digestion system, apart from that high blood pressure, high sugar and other heart related issues may occur. U need to take a balanced diet eat antioxidant rich foods eat more vegetables and fruits drink plenty of water drink luke warm water with honey and lemon juice drink green tea with out sugar.

Dear patient, calorie dense food should be incorporated in your diet like dried fruits, potato, sweets, nuts, jam jelly, banana or mango shake, porridge, badam kheer etc. leafy vegetables should be restricted in your diet as they reduce appetite. you should take 3 major meals a day and snacks in between. butter, margarine should be taken. Adequate amount of egg, meat, fish, milk should be taken as it help you for tissue building in your body.try to take 1 boiled egg at every morning. you should eat more food at each meal. Before taking meal you can walk for sometime as it help to you feel hungrier. Thanks...

Eye strain, or asthenopia, is when the eyes get tired from excessive or intense use. It can be annoying, but it tends to disappear with rest. Although it’s not often a serious condition, eye strain could be a symptom of an underlying problem. The first thing you can do is change your environment and work habits. By doing this you can relieve the pain without spending money on treatment. Sir apply masoor dal powder wth chiroungi powder mixed with raw milk scrub it mildly on face every morning and night and apply vitamine serum at night and in the day apply mixture of lemon juice with rose water and weekly give steam to face and later apply tomato juice. Avoid fry spicy junk food and aerated drinks.

. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc. *Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take Calc fluor 200--once daily in the morning.

I am around 40 year old and have a spine bend which is affecting my lower body and the back. This first occurred 6 months ago and since then I have visited several doctors. But all of them including spine specialist have recommended for operation. Though my medicines are regular the situation is not improving and I am having trouble to walk properly and work. Also, find attached the prescription of few doctors and the x-ray report. Request you to kindly go through them for better understanding. Please suggest some remedy for it. Is operation the only way out for it knowing that they are risky for spine. What should I do?

Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Childhood Obesity, a Major Health Issue,globally

All this while, while everyone has been fighting towards eradicating malnutrition, childhood obesity had risen on one side and is ringing its warning siren. The worrying statistics is that as many as 15% of children (aged 6 to 11 years) and adolescents (aged 12 to 17 years) are obese.
When a person?s calorie intake is more than what he/she can burn out, the excess calories get stored as fat. This accumulation over a period of time leads to obesity.
What Leads to Obesity in Children?
Obesity can be attributed to two major factors ? lifestyle and genetics. Agreed, that a family history of obesity is a major risk factor that cannot be changed but when it comes to life style it solely depends on parenting.
Food choices ? In today?s fast-paced routine, it has become common to adopt unhealthy food choices. Consumption of regular junk food/fast food, sugary drinks, fattening foods and having large snack sizes are all the different ways that can lead to childhood obesity.
Lack of Physical Activity ? There is a rapid decline in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity in today?s young generation. Children are driven to school or are given bikes to get around to places. The activity of walking hasn?t been adopted as a practice at all. The combination of high calorie foods with a sedentary lifestyle is a major cause for weight gain. Also, with the level of education becoming very competitive physical activity takes a back seat in the school environment. Physical education is seen as a rest period between academic classes with no proper monitoring.
Sedentary lifestyle ? With increase in entertainment for children via television, video games and recreational computer use they are becoming couch potatoes. Outdoor games and activities are replaced by indoor recreational activities. With both parents working mostly these days there is no supervision of what the child is doing once back from school. This works as much as in the child?s favor to be cuddled inside the house all the time.
What Can You do as a Parent?
But as the belief goes, a child?s behavior is a neat reflection of his/ her upbringing . So much desired change in the child?s habits.
Encourage healthy eating habits ? Including a healthy diet of adding vegetables and fruits, dairy products and cereals on a daily basis. Children should be encouraged to take nutritional foods while fast foods and processed foods should be weekend perks.
Limit junk food ? Hoarding on snacks can be avoided. Frozen foods are best served at parties and get togethers at home.
Increase physical activity levels ? It is suggested that at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day is necessary for the child; however an increase in this is even better. Having children travel long distances for school and extracurricular activities can leave them tired by the end of the day. Chart out their daily time table and include a good 15-20 minutes of rigorous exercise each day. You can accompany your child for a walk in the mornings or after dinner and make it a useful bonding time with them.
Make it sound fun to ?be healthy? ? Make your child understand the pros and cons of leading an active lifestyle. Give them short assignments or sit with them to find out more about healthy foods. Involve all the members of the family in adopting sound habits. Appreciate healthy practices via non-food rewards.
The long-term health consequences of overweight begins in childhood or adolescence. This puts overweight children/ adolescents at increased risk for various chronic diseases earlier in life. So heed to the calls and initiate action right away.
It all begins with you starting out as a wise parent.

Firstly weight gain is majorly dependent on your metabolism and genetics play a definite role too. You have to be patient and give your body time to gain a healthy body weight. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, sprouts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

You may increase your water intake. And may take neeri/stonedab syp/ tablet for a month or more. If there is no improvement or problem increases then immediately consult a urologist.

*avoid eating foods that can cause gas or acidity. Vegetables which are known to cause acidity are brussels, onions, garlic and broccoli; dairy products like cheese, milk, ice cream and whole grains can cause acidity. The reason is that these products have fiber, starch and sugar which cannot be digested easily, thus causing pain in the intestines. Fruits which contain sorbitol and aerated drinks should also be avoided. Eat everything but in moderation. *avoid drinking before meals as the stomach acids are lost and the food cannot be digested well. Water and liquids should be taken half an hour after a meal for a better digestion. * food should be eaten slowly. Eating and drinking quickly, allows a lot of air to go into the stomach with the food. This in turn can cause a stomach pain. * over the counter drugs can be taken for immediate help in digestion. These medicines contain enzymes which aid in digestion. The enzyme works to dissolve the sugar that is found in many fruit and vegetables. * some habits like chewing gum, drinking from a straw and smoking, etc. Causes air to fill in the stomach, thereby, leading to gas. High fiber diet a high fiber diet includes more than 25 g of fiber per day. Many hemorrhoidal symptoms reduce when dietary changes are made. Addition of fiber supplements to already existing diet is a good plan. Toilet habit retraining and stool softeners patients should sit on the toilet seat only for the time required to evacuate the lower bowels. Persistent straining or prolonged sitting can lead to increased size of hemorrhoids. Stool softeners can be taken to soften stools if there is hard stools which can cause undue straining while going to toilet.

Home treatments for healthy hair make a paste of henna, curd, soaked and ground fenugreek, ground hibiscus flowers, ground gooseberries, and egg (all of them or any one) and apply it onto the hair and scalp for about an hour before shampooing. Done regularly, this will make your hair stronger and better-looking. But remember that henna is suitable only for dark colored hair because it tints hair red. Wash the hair out with decoction of tea or a bit of lemon squeezed into the water in which you will bathe. (for dandruff). Apply coconut or almond oil. If doing this daily does not appeal to you, apply the oil on the scalp overnight before shampooing, or apply a drop to the top of your head before you comb out your hair.
