You can avoid premature ageing by avoid:- Ake care of your neck, shoulders and hands Your face may look younger than your age, but your neck, shoulders and hands can instantly reveal your true age. It’s crucial to take care of those parts of your body each day to prevent premature aging. Moisturize your neck, shoulders and hands before sleep and use a sunscreen during the day. Avoid too much sun exposure. Wash your face twice a day Sometimes you are too sleepy to wash your face in the morning and too tired to remove your makeup before sleep. It’s one of the worst habits that lead to premature aging. It only takes a few minutes to wash your face so don’t find excuses to avoid doing it regularly. Not only will you prevent premature wrinkles, you can also prevent acne. Get enough sleep. Avoid to touch your face frequently.

Why It is Important to Get Regular Test Done for STIs?

MD - General Medicine
Sexologist, Delhi
Why It is Important to Get Regular Test Done for STIs?

Benefits of getting regular tests for STIs

STIs or sexually transmitted diseases are infections whose transmission to a healthy person from an infected person happens through sexual contact. However, with modern medicine and diagnostic techniques, there are ways to prevent, detect and cure them effectively and quickly.

Not all diseases are curable though and it is best to follow preventive measures. Also, for sexually active adults it is an absolute necessity to get tested regularly for their health as well as the well-being of their partners.

Why do people tend to avoid getting tested for STIs or sexually transmitted infections?

One of the major factors that avert people from regular tests is the social stigma attached with sexually transmitted diseases. It is absolutely imperative for sexually active adults to go for regular checkups so that if they have any infections or diseases, it can be diagnosed quickly and remedial measure can be taken appropriately.

The benefits of regular checkups

Some of the benefits of regular checkups are mentioned here:-

  • Regular checkups can detect problems at a stage when the conditions may not have progressed too much and this will make it easily treatable.
  • With HIV positive patients, the quicker the testing gets done the quicker the treatment can be started. Thus, can prevent the onset of AIDS.
  • Regular checkups can control the progression of the diseases such as Chlamydia, which if left untreated can cause permanent infertility.
  • Getting a prospective partner tested is also a good idea as this can enable one to protect themselves from STIs.
  • Symptoms for certain STIs can be similar to many other non-sexual or non-venereal diseases. Thus getting tests done is the only way to get to know if there is an STI or if it is some other nonsexual disease.
  • HPV or Human Papilloma Virus can be detected easily with regular STI checkups and thus appropriate treatment can be started. If HPV isn't detected early, it can manifest much later in the form of cancer, which makes it more important to get yourself checked early on.

If you and your partner are planning to conceive, you should start taking folic acid before you get pregnant. Folic acid helps to provide the best health outcomes for your baby when it is growing. Taking folic acid daily before and during pregnancy also prevents the occurrence of neural tube defects, such as spina bifida, in your baby. You? re most likely to get pregnant if you have sex within a day or so of ovulation (releasing an egg from the ovary). This is usually about 14 days after the first day of your last period. An egg lives for about 12-24 hours after it? s released. For pregnancy to happen, the egg must be fertilised by a sperm within this time. If you want to get pregnant, having sex every couple of days will mean there? s always sperm waiting in the fallopian tubes to meet the egg when it? s released. Any queries consult privately.

Low sperm count is one of the leading causes of infertility in men. Low sperm count refers to an unhealthy condition that some men experience when they do not have appreciable amount of sperm cells in their semen. Having a low sperm count decreases the odds that one of a man?s sperm will fertilize his partner?s ovum, resulting in pregnancy. The causes of low sperm count are, but not limited to: ? Smoking ? Exposure of the scrotum to excess heat ? Stress ? Lack of semen ejaculation ? Hereditary factors ? Obesity ? Some STDs ? Some certain drugs and antibiotics that attack the sperm cells ? Hormonal problems and ? Unbalanced diets. Practise healthful dietary habits: ? Chew longer and slowly. It is a proven fact that taking time to chew all foods carefully, slower and longer will reduce the amount of food consumed, thus fewer calories. ? Do not eat between meals. ? Avoid anxiety and worry at mealtime, since this unconsciously leads to more consumption. ? Do not skip breakfast. Contrary to popular opinions, a solid breakfast prevents obesity, while a light one fosters it. A research study shows that eating a balanced breakfast can help maintain a healthy weight. ? Make breakfast and lunch the primary meals of the day, while eliminating supper or reducing it to a salad or a little fruit. Medicenes Vitamin C This is probably the most familiar of all nutrients. It contains collagen for beautiful skin and bones, produces serotonin for proper brain function, protect against free radicals and increase sperm count and increases sperm motility naturally. L-Carnitine L-carnitine is an amino acid (a building block for proteins) that is naturally produced in the body. Vitamin B12 Cobalamin Folic acid (folate) Studies has shown that folate has positive effect on increasing sperm count for treatment ask privately

Dear user. Please do not have sex with your wife until her pregnancy period reaches at least 14 weeks. If you have sex now, there are chances of abortion. Please talk to your gynecologist regarding this. Take care.

Sex is safe up to 30 weeks provided there are no complications the presnce of sperms has no effect on preg it also does not for delivery outcome this should totally depend on the mother and baby status at delivery.

My mom aged 55 has predominantly solid pelvic lesion measuring 10*7*6 cm arising from left ovary. Solid areas are showing moderate contrast enhancement. Eccentric cystic component noted towards left lateral aspect of the lesion. No calcifications. Everything else including lungs, bladders seems to be fine. Doctors have insisted to take 6 chemo followed by a surgery. I just wanted to clarify if this is the appropriate treatment required for a patient at this point of stage. Please do comment at the earliest. Please Please Please.
