Hello, Follow the below points if you are myopic which will help you for good eyesight. Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic, onions and capers. Blueberries, grapes, and goji berries have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like wild salmon, sardines, mackerel, and cod. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

It's due to blockade of the nasolacrimal duct. It takes 6 to 12 months to open up. You must do massaging from the inner angle of the nose downwards morning and evening 20 to 30 times a day.

I have red eyes for 5days because I uce mobile to much. What should I do to relax my eyes?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
I have red eyes for 5days because I uce mobile to much.
What should I do to relax my eyes?
Mobile screen is made up of hundreds of tiny pixels that are constantly moving. Our eyes in turn are not naturally able to set focus on these constantly moving pixels, and hence we try to focus on an area behind the actual screen. Therefore, in order to work on a mobile, our eyes need to keep on fluctuating focus between their natural point of focus and the pixels on the screen. And this tires the eyes and causes a lot of wear and tear. As a result, we suffer from irritation, which may range from a number of things like headaches, dry eyes, blurred vision, problems in focusing and faulty color perception, to something as severe as glaucoma. The electromagnetic waves that are emitted by a mobile phone can be extremely damaging to the eyes. It has been studied and well documented that these cell phone waves can have a damaging effect on the various parts of the eye, including the retina and the cornea. Moreover, they can cause cataract too. Moreover it is more distressing for our eyes to view contents on a tiny screen which requires even more concentration and extenive usage of eyes without blinking thus causing Eye dryness making them vulnerable to frequent Eye problemss.------------. The solution for this problem I its reduced usage and while uing mobiles use them inproper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects.-------------- You can also reduce the intensity of the mobile’s screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of mobile usage or take frequent breaks. --------------- Homoeopathic medicine--------------- CINELUBE EYE DROPS (HAPDCO) Pour 2 drops 3 times daily.------------------

Hello, it seems you are getting recurrent stye in your eyes. Given your age most common causes are refractive error and chronic allergies which prompts frequent rubbing of eyes with hands, transferring dirt and infection. Get a vision test done at an eye clinic and if there is any refractive error please wear prescription glasses. Also avoid touching eyes. If you feel persistent itching or discomfort in your eyes try using a tear substitute and an antihistamine eye drop when there are no infections. For swollen eyelids with pus use an antibiotic eye drop and some analgesic (pain killer) tablet. Take care.

Hello lybrate-user. Sorry about your eye problem. Operations done to remove the refractive error (power) of the eyes are known as refractive surgery (lasik). There are certain basic criteria that most patients need to fulfill before they can safely undergo refractive surgery. To enumerate, they are: (1) stability of refraction: the power of the eyes should have become stable for a period of 1.5 years minimum without any change. (2) curvature of the cornea should be tested by a technique which is known as topography. (3) thickness of the cornea should be measured by a test known as pachymetry. The minimum thickness required is 550 microns. (4) dilated retina evaluation: this is one of the most important tests that should be performed by a trained retina specialist. This test helps in detection of any offensive lesion on the central or peripheral retina. In case of any retinal abnormality, these should be treated before undergoing the surgery for number reduction. (5) there should be no pre-existent corneal abnormality. (example: corneal scar, opacity, defect, etc.) another important suggestion is that whenever you go for the assessment (the above mentioned tests), you should discontinue the use of contact lenses at least 4 weeks prior to the assessment. The reason for this being that use of contact lens temporarily alters the contour of the cornea. It takes around 3-4 weeks for the restoration of the original corneal contour after removal of the contact lens. Another important point is that you, as a patient, should be compliant to put post operative medication in your eyes for at least 2 months. There is bound to be some discomfort, watering, foreign body sensation, pain after the surgery in most cases-you should be ready to tolerate that. A leave from work for 7-10 days after the surgery should be generally sufficient. Last but not the least, you should set realistic expectations from this surgery. Though extremely rare, there is a remote possibility that the surgery may need to be repeated. Also, the need for subsequent treatment for the eye may be required. Thus, you should be compliant enough to trust and follow your eye specialist. Take care,

What are the causes and symptoms of Myopia and how can a person improve his eye vision?

What are the causes and symptoms of Myopia and how can a person improve his eye vision?
Hi, myopia, also known as near-sightedness and short-sightedness, is a condition of the eye where the light that comes in does not directly focus on the retina but in front of it, causing the image that one sees when looking at a distant object to be out of focus. It does not affect focus when looking at a close object. Causes: myopia occurs when the eyeball is too long, relative to the focusing power of the cornea and lens of the eye. This causes light rays to focus at a point in front of the retina, rather than directly on its surface. Nearsightedness also can be caused by the cornea and/or lens being too curved for the length of the eyeball. In some cases, myopia is due to a combination of these factors. Myopia typically begins in childhood and you may have a higher risk if your parents are nearsighted. In most cases, nearsightedness stabilizes in early adulthood but sometimes it continues to progress with age. Management: include the following for getting better vision: vitamins a, c, e, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. Dha is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for strengthening eye muscles: -begin by partially closing your eyes; the lids should only be halfway shut. After holding for 10-15 seconds, close your eyes very slowly. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. -hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. -concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and then reducing the power of your eyes (if the eye power is less). Take physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month and instill euphrasia eye drops twice a day. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

If your number is stable for 1 year, you can undergo lasik or icl depending on your corneal thickness. If you have normal corneal thickness you should undergo lasik. If your cornea is thin you can undergo icl. Both the procedures are relatively safe.
