Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation twice a day. Take mahayograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Fermented food. Spicy food. Rice. Walk for atleast 30 minutes a day. Do pranayama early morning. Sleep for atleast 7 hrs per day.

I met wid an accident later on m getting pain in my left leg starting from the gluteus some times gluteus to down to the calf. Taken MRI the report showing that. L4-L5 disc shows that posterior central and left para central disc extrusion producing moderate thecal and lateral recess nerve root compression. L5-S1 disc shows that posterior central and bilateral para central disc protrusion producing mild thecal and bilateral lateral recess nerve root compression. What does it means. What are the steps I have to take to get rid of this. And what are the precautions I have to take or any medication. And is it any risky situation? Thanks in advance.

The pain you are getting is due to compression of nerves at lower back (sciatic nerve) and the pain is sciatica. Regular exercise will help to release compression over the nerve. Exercise includes leg lifting at perpendicular position by lying down. Exercises are given in my health feed. If pain is severe you should take medicine for some days. Consult if you need any help.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

No further investigation needed if you know that sugar is under control. After all more investigations will not have corrective properties. It will only analyze the damage. Neuropathy, retinopathy etc progress even when sugar is under control by allopathic drugs. I recommend support of herbal combos for strengthening nerves and combating general weakness in sugar patients. Initially your current medicine shouldn't be interrupted.

Stretches For High Heel Relief

Love to wear high heels? I know I do, especially seductive 6 inch heels! They make legs look great, but make your feet feel like dropped 100 old school dictionaries on them by the end of a long night. Here are a few stretches you can do to ease your sore feet after a long day or night of prancing around in your stilettos.
Shin and Ankle Stretch
Your shins and the top of your toes will feel great relief with this move.
Using a chair or bench sit down. Place your right ankle on your left knee (bending your right leg).
Grab the toes of your right foot and pull back, putting your foot in a pointed position. Push your right foot forward in order to make the stretch more intense.
Hold for 10 to 15 seconds, and then switch sides.
Towel Foot Stretch
This move loosens up your calves and provides relief to the soles of your feet.

Sit on the floor and stretch both of your legs out in front of you.
Bend your left leg and keep your right leg stretched out on the floor.
Using a hand towel with each end in one of your hands place the ball of your right foot in the center of the towel.
Pull back on the towel towards your chest while keeping the right leg straightened.
To intensify the stretch begin to bend the right knee slightly.
Hold for 10-15 and then repeat with the other foot.
Open Lizard
This move targets ankles and opens up the hips.
Go down into a lunge position with your right knee forward.
Lower your left knee completely to the floor.
Rest hands on the ground directly in line with your shoulders.
Begin to lower your right leg and knee to the right.
Keep your arms straight and your hands should be resting now on the inner side of your right foot.
Press your chest forward to intensify the stretch.
Hold for 10-15 sec and then switch.
Flexed-Feet Wall Stretch
Your posture can shift from having your calves in a constant flexed position while in heels. This move will help to loosen your calves and prevent lower back pain you may experience from your disturbed posture.
Stand in front of a wall and place your hands out onto it directly in front of your shoulders.
Walk your hands down the wall as you lean back.
Lift your toes and shift your weight into the heels.
Continue to walk your hands down the wall as far down as you can go.
You will feel the stretch get more intense the further down you go.
Hold for 10-15 seconds and then repeat.

Make daily routine for exercises which keeps your back fit and healthy. Exercises for back includes. Back ex, abdominal strengthening, general conditioning, posture care, daily brisk walk etc. But it will be good if you start physiotherapy session and learn exercise for your back pain under supervision of skilled physiotherapist do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Sciatica is the term used to describe compression of sciatic nerve (major nerve supplying most muscles of leg) due to some pathology in spine commonly disc prolapse (slip disc). Sciatica may be just associated with pain but in severe cases nerve compression can lead to paralysis of legs. Sciatica patients can get instant relief from pain by a procedure called epidural steroid injections. The drug is injected in epidural space (surrounding the spinal cord) which decreases the inflammation and pain of disc pressing on nerve. The procedure is done in operation theatre by interventional pain specialist using x ray machine. It relieves pain of sciatica and patient can easily start physiotherapy after this. Sciatica associated with leg weakness, loss of control over urine and stools requires urgent decompression surgery. In your case you should get consultation with a pain specialist in your city and get mri lumbo sacral spine done and proceed accordingly with further treatment.
