Drinking lots of water and going to pee frequently is normal. Whereas, drinking less of water and feeling the urge to pee frequently is certainly abnormal. You can identify it on your own if you feel the pain or burning sensation while urinating with an immediate call to urinate. Sometimes, you may be infested with the pain in your back or pubic area. A tip for preventing exacerbating pain is kegel exercise. Kegel exercise is performed by repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles around the pelvis; this exercise strengthens the muscles around the bladder and urethra and prevents urinary incontinence and problems.

Yes. For chronic cases operation is the only option. It's a simple surgery. But dietary modification is most.

Dear get urine tested. If it shows more than 5 pus cells then you have infection. Then one has to take antibiotics for 15 days and the recheck urine to see pus cells have gone. If recurrent or persistent then try to find out the cause and that cause has to be treated. Drink plenty of fluids.

You need to see the doctor and get your self examined. This disease can not be treated online without examination. And you should not ignore it.

I am 18 year old female and I am suffering from yellow-orange urine. What is this problem?

Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), MS - Urology, MBBS
Urologist, Ahmedabad
Dear , if you don't have trouble passing urine like increased frequency, pain, burning weak flow of urine or sense of incomplete emptying of bladder after urination, then likely cause are: 1. Inadequate hydration; you are not drinking enough fluids. You may think you are drinking enough but it is not enough so you have to drink more till urine almost watery white. 2. If you are taking some medicines like b complex, some antibiotics then also urine could be dark yellow. 3. If you have jaundice then also urine would be yellow. But it is always associated with fever, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting with some pain in right upper abdomen especially just below right lower ribs

Dear user. You have borderline high psa along with borderline free to total ratio. I understand that you are religiously following psa because of your family history. I would suggest that you see a urologist so that the investigations can be properly understood along with your clinical evaluation. Please do not hesitate to get a prostate biopsy if need be. Early detected prostate cancer have excellent prognosis. Thanks.

The yellow color is due to concentrated urine and you have to drink 10 - 15 glasses of water daily and do not hold up for long time.

Renal faliure due to polycystic kidney disease requires medical treatment only. Dialysis may required in some cases. But do consult your nephrologist to rule out any obstructive cause which can corrected surgically or by endoscopy.

Mr. lybrate-user. I think it may be a small strangulated piles which appears due to passing hard stools or straining on stools due to constipation. This will take about a week time to get smaller in size. I suggest you to please improve your eating habits take three full meals lot of fibres vegetables, fruits ,and plenty of water. Sit in warm water 4-5 mint 2 times a day add stool softener with your diet.

This is not any disease as such. Avoid drinking lots of water before going to bed. Always make sure to urinate before going to bed. Stop taking water atleast one hour prior to bed. Get your blood sugar checked. May in addition form a habit of setting an alarm to go to toilet early morning in the middle of your sleeping hours.

Hi, welcome to lybrate. Com I am happy to answer your queries. In summer season, when the temperature is high, there will be increased sweating and increased water loss. So the amount of water to be excreted by kidneys will be low. So you need to drink more water drink upto 5 litres of water and you will have normal urine output hope you found the answer helpful. If you need any clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions, then please do not hesitate in asking again at lybrate. Com/bruno. Hello doctor. my father is suffering from chronic kidney disease and he is on dialysis on every alternate day. I want his kidneys to be replaced but he is not getting a matching donor. Moreover I also don't have enough money. What should I do?

PGC Diabetology, MBBS
General Physician, Hyderabad
Talk to nephrologists at any government medical college. There you will get the lowest possible charges for transplant. There is a waiting list for cadaveric organs. Get your father listed for that as recipient.
