He may be having what we call congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction. You need to massage the nasal area. Google'crigler massage' or check on youtube and do it dutifully till the baby is one year old. Most of the time, the condition subsides on its own just with the massage. If there is too much discharge then you need to put mild antibiotic drops to prevent further infection.

You may feel you do not have a refractive error. It is possible that you have ataract and it is also possible that you have some form of refractive errror shich could be corrected with just glasses. Another possibility is that you have some amount of dry eye. It is hence advisable to get yourself personally checked by an ophthalmologist.

My right eye has suddenly having a high number of 4.5 What should I do for have my eye normal.

Fellowship In Comprehensive Ophthalmology, DOMS

My right eye has suddenly having a high number of 4.5
What should I do for have my eye normal.
There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 17 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik after age of 17 yrs. Number does not increase suddenly from zero to 4.5d, it must have happened in many years time.

In a world full of personal computers, hand-held video games, smartphones and e-readers, and hours of television, eye-related problems such as Computer Vision Syndrome are increasing in many people. Before your eyes are badly strained, have blurry vision and needlessly suffer headaches, follow these tips before it reaches a critical stage. Tips to Curb your Screen Habits 1. Blink- The average human being blinks 20 times a minute – but only 7 times a minute when using a computer. The longer the eye remains open between blinks, the more likely the cornea is to dehydrate, burn or ache. Blink often to keep the eyes moist. It washes your eyes in naturally therapeutic tears. 2. Look Away- For every 20 minutes that you spend watching television, reading, or working on the computer, stare at an object 20 feet away from you for 20 seconds. Better yet, take a 10-minute bathroom break at least every two hours, even if you don’t have to go. Walk there, back or anywhere, letting your eyes idle. Hey, chit-chat with a co-worker while you are at it and ask them how they are doing! 3. Bring an object (such as a pen) as close to your eyes as possible while still being able to focus on the object clearly, then focus on an object 10 feet away from you. Repeat this exercise for 3 to 5 minutes several times per day. 4. Roll your eyes upward towards your eyebrows, and then roll your eyes in a large circle. Repeat every few hours when using your computer or watching television to combat Computer Vision Syndrome. 5. Try Palming- “Palm” your eyes by covering them with the palms of your hands, blocking out the light completely for 1 to 3 minutes several times a day. Palming is one of the most relaxing things you can do for your eyes. 6. Try Natural Home Remedies- This might sound funny, but put potato slices on your closed eyes for about 20 minutes. If you eyes are burning, itchy and irritated, this old homemade remedy just might help you. Rose water is a relaxer and can be used as eye drops for soothing effect in tired and fatigued eyes. Wash and flush your eyes in cool tap water. BESIDES this, eat healthy and nutritious food, avoid alcohol and smoking, avoid spicy and junk food, eat salads and sprouts, be hydrated, take proper sleep and be stress free I hope the above tips will help you. I have red eyes for 10 months it causes itching and a in to my eyes plus help me.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
I have red eyes for 10 months it causes itching and a in to my eyes plus help me.
Eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye (sclera) become swollen. Vessels may swell due to: • Eye dryness • Too much sun exposure • Dust or other particles in the eye • Allergies • Infection • Injury Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. These may be due to: • Blepharitis: Swelling along the edge of the eyelid. • Conjunctivitis: Swelling or infection of the clear tissue that lines the eyelids and covers the surface of the eye (the conjunctiva). This is often referred to as "pink eye." • Corneal ulcers: Sores on the cornea most often caused by a serious bacterial or viral infection. Uveitis: Inflammation of the uvea, which includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. The cause is most often not known. It may be related to an autoimmune disorder, infection, or exposure to toxins. The type of uveitis that causes the worst red eye is called iritis, in which only the iris is inflamed. Homoeopathic medicine EUPHRASIA 30 ( Dr Reckeweg) Drink 2 drops direct on tongue every 2-3 hrly CINERARIA /EUPHRASIA EYEDROPS ( SBL ) pour into eyes 1-2 drops 3 times daily
