Black spots in front of eye is usually due to vitreous floaters ,you should get your retina checked up by retina specialist & if there is no retinal pathology ,you should try to ignore it.

My wife is to undergo cataract operation. She is advised to stop taking CLOPITAB A75. Is it ok. She does not have any major heart problem. She had pulmonary Edima about 6 years back. Since then she is taking CLOPITAB

Diploma in Ophthalmology, MS - Ophthalmology
Ophthalmologist, Villupuram
Yes it is better to stop that drug before surgery. No need to stop the drug if the surgery is done under topical anaesthesia and clear corneal incision for Phacoemulsification.

Red eye has many causes. You have to see if it is associated with blurring of vision, pain, discharge and other complaints. But commonly its allergic or infective in origin ie allergic or infective conjunctivitis. Which has simple treatment protocol. But still its wise to see an ophthalmologist for a thorough slit lamp examination to rule out other differentials for red eye.

High Myopia -18 , any suggestion for laser/lezic or other surgery or continue with contact lenses

FVRS, DNB Ophthalmology, MS Ophthalmology, MBBS, FICO
Ophthalmologist, Chennai
LASIK will not be a good choice for such high myopia. ICL ( intaocular collamer lenses ) which are implanted in the eye by surgery might be a better option.
