Sir/ madam I want to know whether inserting penis with condom in vagina in4 months of pregnancy is safe. Can we have sex please suggest me.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist,
Yes, you can have sex during pregnancy. Provided you have some precautions. Avoid sex in the last month of pregnancy. Let the pregnant lady have the last say in the matter. Respect her wish. If she refuses, do not fight. Think of other ways to have sexual pleasure, like masturbation, oral sex (women does to man) etc. Anal sex is not to be done in pregnancy as piles are common and liable to bleed. Use a condom at each sex, to prevent the infection from affecting the pregnant woman whose immunity is reduced during pregnancy. Avoid missionary position as it causes pressure on the pregnant tummy. Use side by side position or woman on top position or woman at edge of bed and man standing position to have sex. If your partner is feeling anxious about disturbing the pregnancy, you both can talk and settle for non vaginal sex like orla sex and masturbation etc.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, FCPS, DGO, Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP)

If pregnancy was confirmed prior to treatment then complete course should be done as bleeding does not decide success or failure, only sonography after 15 days decide that.

Mikacin can sometimes cause deafness but not in all cases. There is no test right now, by which we can predict the hearing problem. If you do not want to take chance, that's ok. But if you continue pregnancy, you must tell your paediatrician about it, so that he can arrange for the tests immediately to check baby's hearing condition.

I had c section delivery but I lost my kid due to some issues again when can I try for pregnancy.
Yes you can but better take a gap of at least 6 months to one year... As a women needs to recover from the stress of the pregnancy... Trying for next one so early can damage you immensely... First take proper nutritious diet and recover.. Otherwise there will be more problems in next one also.

I have already moved to IVF. Only ET is pending as I am facing hypertension. Around 135/90. Ao my question is what should be normal BP to proceed with IVF. Also what will be the further procedure?

MBBS, MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, FMAS, DMAS
Gynaecologist, Noida
Normal bp should be 120/80 mm Hg. Once ET is performed then you have to be on progesterone supplements to sustain pregnancy.
