are u overweight????, do some following things 1- walk slowly 30 min daily. 2- doing some aerobic exercise such as swimming, or biking three to five times a week, eventually working up to sessions of 30 to 60 min. 3- reduce your weight gradually. 4- don't do heavy exercise. 5- take proper healthy diet.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

I am male 67 years old. I am suffering with pain in both feet. I have hypothyroid since 35 years, Diabetes since 2 years and I am medical management for CAD. All the diseases are well under control i am a Vegetarian. I don't smoke, no chewing tobacco, no alcohol. I go for a 60 minute walk six days a week. Please advise. Thanks.

Pain in both feet can be because of diabetes. It is called diabetic peripheral neuropathy. To reduce your pain, blood sugar should be kept under control. There are various tablet available which can reduce your pain. I advice you to check your vitamin b12 level as well as vegetarian frequently have b12 defeciency, which is one of the reason of pain in both feet.

you are taking med. thyroxine 100mcg for hypothyroidism. shoulder pain may be due many reasons . you should be test thyroid every 3 to 6 months. pl. do x ray of shoulder..and consult with orthopedic doctor.

Hello dear its suspect that sacroiliatis and weakness of glutinous muscle. So you can go to a good physiotherapy centre near by where you can treated by ift for 2-3 days if pain reduce then do it continue if not get any difference then go for ultrasound therapy for 7-10 days. Also do glutinous and back strengthening and stretching exercise you will get rid from this problem. Best of luck.

Hi I can understand your problem. 1) apply hot and cold foementation. 2) learn strengthening exercise of quadriceps and hamstring from physiotherapist. 3) do regular streching calf muscles. 4) wear comfortable foot wear.

I am 40 year old from last six month I have pain in my hip bone its very painful while sitting.

It may be due to wrong sitting posture. Correct your posture whether you are sitting or travelling in a vehicle (2 wheeler). Also do hip rotation in the morning. Oil massage and fomentation will also help.

As your tests are normal , go for ultra sound of upper abdomen to rule out liver disease.It may be muscular, you do breathing exercises.

Hello, Body pain may be due to 1. fever 2. abrupt start or stop of exercise 3. Any other medical disease like Anaemia/ Hypoproteinemia/ Thyroid problem 4. Vit D deficiency 5. Multimineral and vitamin Deficiency 6.Stress/ anxiety 7. Over exertion (physical and mental) kindly follow advises given below: 1. Take adequate rest 2. Proper diet 3. Common Myths About Hearing Loss

Hearing loss is experienced by millions of people these days. Ageing is not the only factor that brings hearing impairment. The causes are many. Certain medications, continuous exposure to loud noise, genetic involvement, injury and some medical conditions may cause hearing loss.

There are quite a few myths that people have come to believe about hearing loss over the years. Since it is such a common phenomenon, here we take a look at the common myths surrounding hearing loss.

Myth no. 1: Hearing loss is exclusive to elderly.

Fact: As said before, hearing loss can be an outcome of various causes. Nearly half of the people suffering from the same are below the age of 55 years. No matter what your age is, you must always get your ears checked, especially if you are feeling that are you missing things.

Myth no. 2: Diagnosing hearing loss is easy.

Fact: Most people do not come to know about the condition until it gets worse. Also, your physician never really checks for hearing loss symptoms in a general check-up unless you ask for it specifically.

So, always get a check-up done, like you do for other probable diseases.

Myth no. 3: There's no effective solution for hearing loss.

Fact: Like there have been advancements in the medical field for everything else, there are aids available these days that improve your hearing and have finer adjustments for noise adaptation. Also, there are certain other procedures and surgeries that have proved to improve the condition in many.

So, seek help as soon as possible.

Myth no. 4: The sounds aren't loud enough; my ears are healthy and fine.

Fact: If there is a problem you're experiencing with hearing, you have got to accept that and get it treated. Avoiding a certain condition will only get things worse for you.

Also, hearing aids are no more a stigma. Ear aid devices have designs similar to earphones these days, which are comfortable enough to wear. Ignoring a medical condition or inability to accept the same would only do more harm instead of making things fine.
