Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. Protein shakes will help you to gain muscle mass, particularly if you're working out. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. This is where protein shakes and bars really come in handy. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 1month.

I was suffered from chicken pox last month. But the dark spots stills on my face, chest, and legs. Plzz help me how to get rid from it.

Hi. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. 1) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals, 2) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal, 3) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods, 4) sleep upto 10.30 pm, 5) avoid coffee and tea, A) use evenshade cream of charak pharma, B) take 30 ml of AUDUMBARAVLEHA before meals, C) take ½ tsf of nimbadi churna after meals, Do all things for 30 days. Gives you good result. THANKS.

My mom eat rice but she doesn't gain any of the weight. And I gained a lot. Eating same thing.

Hye. Weight loss is not about a particular food, it's about your whole lifestyle. Eating the right foods at the right time is crucial. If you skip meals or follow fad diets, eat a lot of junk, whether you eat rice or not, you will surely gain weight. So, set a routine. Eat smaller more frequent meals. Eat as much as your body needs, not less, not more. Exercise at least thrice a week.

I'm getting weak regularly. What should I do so that I not feel tired? Give me some solutions for this.

I feel you are not taking a nutritious diet. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

DEAR LYBRATE USER...A) apply paste of fresh garlic and milk on pimples with gentle massage,two times in a day...B) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice and 30 ml of triphala juice ,at night before sleep...C) take 10 gm of black cumin seeds along with 10 gm of jiggery after meals…D) take 2-2 tablets of chandraprabha vati and aarogyavardhini rasa after meals...Do all these things for 15 days ..it gives you good result..consult to me for further suggestions..THANKS

Hi, for your nasal allergy issue, you may try the following: (a) use a paediatrics saline nasal spray twice daily (b) identify allergens that trigger allergy in your nose/ allergic rhinitis and avoid them. (c) make sure you keep your nostrils clean. Wash with water daily. (d) take a glass of warm water, to which a tsp of pure honey and third of a lemon are mixed properly, daily morning empty stomach. (e) take half a glass of warm water to which 1/4 tsp freshly ground turmeric and a piece of black pepper (crushed) are mixed properly, post dinner, for 5 days. (f) streamline your diet and lifestyle. Focus on fresh fruits and leafy greens, restrict spicy, oily, fatty and flesh foods. (g) stay relaxed and keep your stress levels low. Daily yoga, pranayam and meditation help de-stress. Effects of Sunlight on Sexual Health

Sunlight plays a significant role in enhancing the sex hormones in human blood. Sunlight has a direct impact on brain’s serotonin production, which promotes sexual activity. It aids sexual development, improved fertility, increased arousal, heightened libido, enhanced sensations.

The Sunshine Vitamin (Vitamin D):
About 80% of Vitamin D, a steroid hormone is produced in our skin due to sunlight exposure, the ultraviolet-B (UVB) exposure to be precise. Vitamin D deficiency results in low sex drive in both men and women.

For Men:
Sunlight exposure stimulates man’s libido by enhancing testosterone levels in the body.

For Women:
Vitamin D deficiency causes low estrogen levels in women. A hormone regulated by the photosensitive pineal gland, LH (luteinizing hormone), is responsible for ovulation. Inadequacy of this hormone can hamper fertility. The sun exposure also reduces the level of melatonin hormone which curbs fertility.It’s not surprising that there are higher chances to conceive during summer.

CAUTION:
Too much exposure to the Sun in our climatic conditions can be harmful.

Your teeth must be sensitive because your gums must have receded. Secondly other cause could be that you must be having a habit of clenching the teeth. If so please kindly refer dentist. They will prescribe you desensitising mouth wash and desensitising tooth paste.

Hello, This habit is called Bruxism. Habit of grinding teeth or clenching their jaw under stress. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. Take a deworming medicine. Also you may need a habit breaking appliance called soft splints to preserve your teeth from wearing off.

For increasing weight ...First we have to work on ur digestive system..It will do Aam pachan and will increase ur digestive power and appetite.... Mix 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger and cumin powder with honey to make a paste. Take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.. Follow up after 1week... Drink plenty of fluids.. Avoid constipation...
