Take 5 healthy meals ( 3 main meals+ 2 snacks) . Take , Soaked Sunflower seeds (15 gm) early morning prior breakfast. Take Trikatu Churna ( can get online or from any good Ayurvaidic Medical store) 1/2 tea spoon prior Breakfast and dinner and 1/2 trifla churna after 1/2 hour of Breakfast and dinner.

You should take balanced & nutritious diet, plenty of fluids, avoid foods and drinks higher in calorie and empty of nutrients, do regular physical exercise, eat in small amount but frequently, have 8 hrs. Sound sleep. Last but not the list, you should consult with a dietician to get detailed diet chart according to your need.

Yes, you can but in small amounts. The point is to eat slow digesting foods with low glycemic index. Some diet advice for you - In veg you can eat the following - Eat whole wheat roti, oats, daliya, brown rice etc. Eat more green vegetables and bitter leafy vegetables like methi. Limit vegetables which has lot of starch like peas, corn, and potatoes. Eat Lauki, bitter gourd, carrots, beetroot etc In Non-veg - limit non-veg to once or twice a week. You should take deep fried meat. Fish is a good option, chicken tikka etc In dry Fruits - Almond, walnuts In Pulses - Arhar, moon and chana sprouts In fruits - Apple /guava/orange In Juice - Try to replace your juices with whole fruits.

I recommends the following basic principles to keep in mind if you wish to gain weight in a healthy way: increase your appetite by eating more to gain weight. But do it step-by-step and not by stuffing yourself too much at one go. Add one extra chapatti or more rice than you normally consume, or you even start with fruits by eating an extra one every day. Carbs are needed to gain weight but include healthier options like banana, potato, mango, whole grains, rice, etc. Instead of sugar-rich foods, chocolates and other junk foods. In order to increase your muscle mass, it is essential to do weight training 4-5 times a week for an hour. You can vary the intensity depending on your capacity. Consume protein-rich foods after you workout to increase muscle mass and eat good fats like nuts and seeds in your diet. Eating a handful of pumpkin or flaxseeds is a good way to give your body the fat intake it needs. Though junk foods like vada pav or burgers are loaded with calories, they only increase body fat and not muscle mass which is not the right way to go about. Here is a healthy weight gain diet plan which includes the right foods one should consume to put on kilos in a healthy manner. But along with this, you also need to engage in physical activity for at least 30 minutes every day. It is also essential to have at least 6-8 glasses of water to flush out toxins from the body.

I am 5'2" in height girl. I have been losing weight without any reason hence, I am just looking much shorter than my real height. Is there any way to put gain and increase height? I am 19 years old and I doing lots of exercises to gain my height. I don't want any surgery or anything but is there any supplements which will really work on me? I have been doing yoga from six months and I don't notice a single inch of my body growing though I am enjoying the other results of yoga. Still. Is there any medicine which will at least boost my height? Height gives confidence. I am pursuing Civil Engineering and I can't just wear Heels to everyplace I go. So please any suggestion? 1. Start cardiovascular exercises like running, jogging, cycling etc. 2. Avoid carbohydrates and fats. 3. Avoid processed and junk foods. 4. Start exercising. Both body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, squats and weight training in the gym is helpful. 5. Stay hydrated. 6. Have a light dinner. 7. Evening walk is always recommended. 8. Green veggies complete your nutrient requirements. 9. Consume all types of protein both from veg and non veg sources. 10. Sleep well.

Definitely you need to increase your protein and carb intake. Include lot of dry fruits, nuts, egg whites, soya tofu, paneer, chicken, fish, shell fishery also. Consume high fibre complex carbs like jowar, quinoa, bajra, rye, flaxseed, etc.

Do regular exercise. Take 2 glass of water. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, milk and milk products, sprouts, combination of cereals and pulses, take healthy and heavy breakfast. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. No drink before meals.

For weight gain & improved health, muscular body: 1. Have small frequent meals at 2-3 hrs intervals containing foods rich in nutrient & calorie density like paneer paratha, cheese-potato sandwich, dates-almonds milkshake, peanut chikki, til ladoo, banana kheer, atta halwa/gond ladoo, thicker atta-maida rotis with ghee, rice with ghee, cow/buffalo milk with skim milk powder, homemade cereal malt with milk & sugar, premix with soup, fruit juice, sugarcane juice, dry fruits, soyabean cutlet/roll, fruit lassi, egg curry/omlette/egg scramble/french toast, fatty fish, chicken 2. Drink 3 litres water daily (but not with or just before meal) 3. Avoid junk foods & empty calorie snacks 4. Enjoy meals in a peaceful environment without distractions 5. Eat fast & in bigger utensils 6. Practice strength exercises to increase lean mass- bench press, push up, squat, etc.

No pills will help you to gain weight in a healthy way. You should get a customised balanced diet plan from a dietitian and also start doing weight training2-3 times a week under the guidance of a certified trainer.

Hi lybrate-user here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Firstly weight gain is majorly dependent on your metabolism and genetics play a definite role too. You have to be patient and give your body time to gain a healthy body weight. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, sprouts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.
