Dear lybrate user high bp is a psychosomatic condition. Both mind & body are responsible here. Keep your mind healthy, peace and away from unwanted thots, anger, depression. Breathing exercises and meditation will help you. Avoid excess salty n spicy foods. Inorder to control your weight you need a regular healthy diet and callory burning exercises like running, swimming, rowing. Avoid day sleep. Drink plenty of water and take adequate sleep.

Having a pain in your chest can be scary. It does not always mean that you are having a heart attack. There can be many other causes, including Other heart problems, such as angina Panic attacks Digestive problems, such as heartburn or esophagus disorders Sore muscles Lung diseases, such as pneumonia, pleurisy, or pulmonary embolism Costochondritis - an inflammation of joints in your chest Some of these problems can be serious. Get immediate medical care if you have chest pain that does not go away, crushing pain or pressure in the chest, or chest pain along with nausea, sweating, dizziness or shortness of breath. Treatment depends on the cause of the pain. At this age it's rare to have heart attack but not impossible To rule out cardiac issues. Get a ECG and 2D echocardiography done. If they are normal then get a TMT done. If all is normal then nothing to worry about.

My blood pressure is very low. But I do not know what I do. please help me doctor.

MD (U), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S)
Unani Specialist, Delhi
People with an ideal weight and who are physically fit and active generally have a blood pressure reading lower than what is considered normal at 120/80 mm hg. Yet, this is not unhealthy, especially when the symptoms are not experienced. However, when readings consistently remain around 90/60 mm hg or lower, it is considered hypotension. Besides, when the blood pressure is extremely low, it may cause inadequate flow of blood to organs such as the brain, kidneys, and heart. When dealing with low blood pressure, it is usually suggested to increase your salt and fluid intake. Before increasing your salt consumption, do check with your doctor. Also, cut down on alcoholic beverages and high-carbohydrate foods such as bread, rice, pasta, and potatoes.
