do regular exercise,running,cycling, jogging,rope skipping,yogasanas. Use warm water for drinking,take healthy ,warm food,fresh fruits,dry fruits,take proper rest,sound sleep. Avoid- chilled water,cold drink, foods kept in fridge,oily,spicy,outside food. avoid late night works, travelling , overexertion during menstruation.

I am dibetic, slight high blood pressure and slight higher collestrol. Dibeic 112/99 pre and post meal, after dibeta sr 500 once in a day, cholestrol 140 after one pill avas 10 daily, bp 120/80 after telma 40 once in a day. I also suffer rehumotide arthrites (ra)) hcqs400 once in a day. All these deases since last one year. My wt. Was 83 kg ht 178 cm wt reduced to 74 kg in one yr with running and excercise for one hr daily. Shall I reduce the medicine or continue ?

Hello good to hear you are on physical activity and happy to hear you have reduced weight. Keep up the exercise going. It looks like all are in control when you take medicine. This condition has to be maintained when you stop using medicine. So, I suggest, consult your personal doctor and then based on his recommendation you follow the same. We know heavy medication leads to side effects. Please add protein with green tea, fiber and multivitamins supplements in your diet. Let me help you with more information. Have a nice day.

Don't eat large amount of food at one time. Eat small amount of food in 2 to 3 hrs of interval. Don't drink cold water or large amount of water just after the food this will cause indigestion. Try to take food 2 to 3 hrs before sleeping at night. Avoid junk food, spicy and oily food. Exercise regularly. Eat fibrous food like salads and vegetables.

Hello, if you have been confirmed by (general physician or endocrinologist) doctor that you are a diabetic by all tests like fbs, plbs and hba1c. Then never think of controling blood sugar levels without medicines. Because it may lead to complications. So please don't get panic you can control it by diabetic diet and exercise and stressless life. Do yoga, meditation. But please along with diabetic medicines. If it's getting controlled then your doctor may reduce the doses. And let's see further.

I had an accident 1 year ago. I fell from 3rd floor of a building. The impact was on legs. Due to which I lost sensation in legs. And the legs used to pain internally 24*7. And also spine was damaged. Then I had a spine surgery. After 1.5 months of accident, I got my sensation of legs back except for the feet. Pain in feet was still there. Then I had a feet surgery of the calcaneus bones. Now it's 10 months after the feet surgery, there's 0% improvement in my feet condition. No sensation. I can move just my thumb a bit. And internal pain is still there 24*7. What is the reason or what should I do now? Also because my spine was damaged I couldn't urinate after the accident. In hospital I had catheter tube. Then after 2 months I could urinate naturally but with lots of pressure. Even that condition isn't improved even 1% after 10 months. What could be the reason?

As you said you have injured your spine that why there is injury in the lower part of spinal cord. There are many nerves arise from the lower part of spinal cord that control urine & stool excretion & leg sensation & movement. As you said you slowly get control on urination, that means your spinal nerves are healing. But the healing of nerves happens very slowly thats why it takes time to get back to normal position. The pain that happens whole day occurs due to injured nerves because they do not work well (loss of signal transfer, so the injured nerves pain continuously.

You need to work systematically to regain your focus concentration and memory. Please try following things and if you need any further help you may contact me again. Concentration is a mental skill that you can develop. There are two ways to improve your concentration: first, raise your brain's natural ability to concentrate. In other words, increase your attention. Second, adjust the environment around you to make concentrating easier. To improve your concentration takes a little time and effort, but it can be worth it. In my personal experience with students. This can make noticeable improvement in a relatively short time. Ideas for daily concentration-boosting habits include: mindfulness meditation - many studies confirm that 20 minutes of meditation or more per day improves concentration and attention span. Focusing on your breathing, known as mindfulness meditation, is one of the simplest way of meditation. Start with ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes before bed. Proper sleep -i am sorry to say it. Pulling all nighter will not help with your grade. Unless you are getting sufficient restful sleep, you are not going to be as mentally focused as you could be. Brain game -. The more you use certain skills, the more they are reinforced in the brain. So it makes sense that playing concentration games and games that require you to focus will improve your concentration ability. You need to be consistent in this. Play for about 10 to 20 minutes each day. Have fun, and get the benefits but remember not to spend more than 20 minutes a day. Your goal is to improve your concentration and not the score in the game! eat healthier - your brain needs the proper nutrients to allow you to focus. Eat more vegetables and fruits and avoid consumption of junk food as much as possible. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Exercise is helpful in both reducing stress and increasing focus. At-least 20 minutes a day would go a long way. Optimize your mental state & environment in addition to building the habits described above into your daily routine, also adjust your environment and your current mental state to improve your concentration when studying. Create a study spot. Your brain loves routine. Create a place where all you do is study. An obvious choice is a secluded desk of some kind, but the trick is to make sure you only study in that spot. Studying in bed is a bad habit, for example, because your body is trained to want to sleep once you get into bed. Remove distractions. Turn off the ringer on your phone and take other steps to prevent interruptions. Don't study with the television on or with talk radio playing. Some studies have shown that soft instrumental music (no vocals) can help improve your concentration. Block background noises. If you have to study or work in an environment where it is too loud (classroom or open space) or too quiet (such as at home or at a library) you can get easily distracted by outside influences. With the right amount of background noise you can actually block out distractions and enhance your creative thinking. Use time boxes. Set a time limit when you need to study new material. For example, let's say you want to read one chapter in a book (and remember it). Decide in advance that you can have 45 minutes to read the chapter, and 15 minutes to review it. Set a timer to keep yourself honest, then pace yourself to keep within the allotted time. Stay motivated with rewards. If you see studying as burden, it's hard to concentrate. One way to stay motivated is to set up a reward system. Tell yourself you have to earn that hour of watching your favorite show later in the evening by first completing one hour of intense studying. That way, even if the material is dry, you have the reward to look forward to. Take a break every two hours. You mental energy will begin to decline after a long period of study. So every two hours or so, take a ten minute break. Walk around, eat a light snack, or just stare at the wall to relax your mind. Concentrating is the first step to learning anything new. It only makes sense that if you improve your concentration, your memory will improve also. Wishing you very best,

1. You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3. Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5. Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6. Take light dinner. 7. Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time. 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner. Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10. Don’t sleep in day time 11. Don’t take sleeping pill 12. If no relief consult doctor.

avoid day time sleep. avoid tea , coffee in late evening and after, take rest and balanced diet. 8 hours sleep is ok. 10 pm to 6 am is perfect timing.inform if not ok.

Peptic ulcer develops due to imbalance between the defensive factors (mucus and bicarbonate) and aggressive factors (stomach acid). The drug treatment of peptic ulcer includes the use of proton pump inhibitors which are to be taken one hour before breakfast once daily for a period of 4-6 weeks. These drugs not only suppress the acid production but also promote the healing of the ulcer. If the peptic ulcer is caused by a bacteria helicobacter pylori, then you must take two weeks course of antibiotics (amoxycillin, clarithromycin, tinidazole) along with proton pump inhibitors. X 15 days you must avoid the following: alcohol, smoking, coffee, nsaid pain killers, stress, hot and spicy foods, etc.

You maybe suffering from allergic rhinitis and pharyngitis. You need to avoid the cause of your allergies and also take anti allergy medications. Please consult for prescription. If you have an infection and have fever you will need to do a course of antibiotics. For now do warm saline gargle and steam inhalation 3 times a day.

Dear lybrate user, a kidney stone is mainly formed due to the accumulation of the minerals present in urine. Such accumulation occurs mainly due to low intake of fluids. Continous low fluid intake results in the deposits of the minerals over the stone & eventually leads to an increase in the size of the stone. If the size of the kidney stone is below 3mm then it is possible to get rid of it without any surgery. Take homoeopathic mother tincture berberis vulgaris q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water for 15 days. The stone will be expelled through urine in between the span of 15 days of medication. But if the size of the stone is more than 3mm then you should surely go for surgery.

Regular movements/exercises for the knee will definitely receive his pain. If the pain still persists after exercise, please apply cold pack for 10 mins on each side. You have to repeat this for 4-6 times a day.

Follow the tips *avoid caffeine and nicotine. *refrain from consumption of alcoholic drinks before bed. *avoid large meals and beverages late at night. *it is good to exercise, but not too late in the day. *don't take naps after 3 p. M. *have the right sunlight exposure. *take a hot water bath before going to bed. *relaxation before going to bed helps. *a good sleeping environment can be helpful. *don't stay awake for long time in bed. *say no to late-night television. Follow the tips and consult privately if you continue to have difficult sleeping.

A diabetic person has to consume food like everyone else. However, total calories have to be restricted based on one's weight, sugar levels and amount of exercise done per day. You have not mentioned the sugar levels at all, secondly no info on level of physical activity. Further, you are overweight with a bmi of 27.7 kg/m2. Hence, your diet has to provide you a maximum of 1400 calories per day. I can not actually prescribe the whole diet here, but please keep in mind to avoid sweets, deep fried foods and fruits like mango, chikkoos, grapes and bananas. Consume more green vegetables and salads, whole grain flours, and eat more frequently but less quantity at a time.
