There are multiple disorders which might produce the above mentioned symptoms, it could be Fissure/coccydynia or even a pilonidal sinus. It is suggested to get clinically examined by a surgeon for a confirmed diagnosis and therapy for the same. However though the few symptoms which you have mentioned are not alarming.

Hi. I suffer from acidity twice or thrice in week especially when I eat fried food or take tea. Sometimes I can not control myself taking tea or fried food. I am 30 years old. To combat with acidity I take pantoprazole 40 mg once or twice day as and when I get acidity symptoms and it works for me. I want to ask can I continue like this? Is it safe to take pantoprazole 40 mg twice or thrice in week. Any long term side effect.

You must not take antacids for a longer period. Here is a good reason for this. When stomach acid is removed either by neutralizing it or by blocking it's production, the body experiences a gradual health decline due to mal-absorption of nutrients. For instance, low stomach acid impairs the body's ability to absorb calcium. Mal-absorption of vitamin B12 (cobalamin) has also been linked to impaired nerve and brain function. Other nutrients that are mal-absorbed due to low stomach acid levels include: iron, magnesium, selenium, zinc, folic acid, vitamins A, thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B6), riboflavin (B6), and E. Long-term use often leads the body to compensate by producing more of the hormone "gastrin" This hormone signals the stomach to increase acid production acid. Excessive levels of gastrin have been linked to the growth of esophageal, pancreatic, and gastric cancer cells. Most dangerous of all is the weakening of the natural anti-microbial action of stomach acid. Another risk is that antacid drugs can facilitate a common food borne illness including salmonella infection.

For arthritis take five phos 6x, 5 tabs twice daily. Ulcerative colitis (uc) is a disease in which the lining of the large intestine (colon) becomes inflamed. This inflammation leads to the formation of raw sores, or ulcers, causing pain and bloody diarrhea. Uc usually begins gradually with bloody diarrhea, rectal bleeding, cramps or pain in the belly, and growing urgency to move the bowels. Depending on which area of the colon is affected, the stool may be normal or hard and dry. Homeopathic medicines merc sol, merc cor, sulphur and phosphorus are a few of the important ones used in treating ulcerative colitis. Selection of homoeopathic remedy is based on totality of symptoms of individual patient. So please send your symptom details for the right prescription. Thanks.
I am 19 year old male. I noticed a really small bump near my anus. It was persistent for 4 months and then it gradually disappeared. After a month it again showed up. I use to have constipation often and the bump now has been a year old. Its painless and no sign of bleeding is seen the size is almost the same but increases when I have to pressurize. Could I use your help in removing the bump without surgery? Thank you.
General Surgeon, Gandhinagar
Respected lybrate-user hi it seems non bleeding haemorrhoid. In my opinion surgery is not required if no pain or bleeding & it's true that no medicines are going to resolve it. All things you have to do is to avoid hard stools avoid oily spicy stuffs nonveg. Take more liq green leafy veg fiber content fruits curd for better digestion avoid smoking if doing. Thanks regards
