Tips for weight gain 1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. Soybean and urad dal. 5) have proper rest.

Hello As you asked about your problems related to your weights to loose I would like to advise you to follow regular hot water sipping boiled with ginger one cup every half-hour for whole day. You may use light diets Khichari or Dariya with moong daal soups and green vegetables soups fried with cumin seeds and ghee every day. Avoid oily or junk food, nonveg, yogurt, pizzas or rajma. I am sure you will lose 5 kg of weight in a month.

Water + Lemon is good for health. But it will not reduce any weight. There is no medicine or 'Gutti' which can reduce weight. Only you can reduce your weight by changing your food habits. Eat Light.. Eat Right..Walk day and night. Be Healthy Be Happy

3 meals per day and healthy snacks twice daily to achieve the best possible result within a short period. Here is a guideline for creating the best vegetarian diet for weight loss. Based on this, you can create your own diet plan as the food choices of each person may vary and the items available to you may be different from what mentioned here. Early Morning You can have any of the following items to start your day. ? 1 glass of lukewarm water with lemon juice added to it. This drink will have zero calories in it. Breakfast 2 Idlis and half a cup of sambar and � cup of low fat milk Mid Morning Snack You can use boiled pulses, green salads, low- calorie fruits or nuts as a snack Lunch cup brown rice (not to exceed 200 grams cooked rice) and � cup mixed vegetable gravy along with one bowl mixed vegetable salad and 1 small bowl raitha or low fat curd. Ensure that the vegetables are cooked using low fat oil and without adding coconut. Evening Green tea Dinner Start your dinner with any thin soup. You can eat 2 rotis or one quarter plate upma or 3 slices of brown bread or one bowl of oats at night along with � cup vegetable and 1 bowl of salad. for treatment and dietchart for weight loose consult privetly.. Lybrate-user, t1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease, where there are antibodies seen which destroy insulin producing cells, this leads to total deficiency of insulin. Person needs insulin for treatment and for survival. Usually ocurs in much younger age. Earlier called as juvenile diabetes. T2 is due to either lack of insulin or resistance to its action or both. This is seen in people with over weight and who are very inactive. It can be treated by oral anti diabetes drugs alone or even insulin. Some times both are used together. Dietary control and regular exercise also are required for better control. Plus this is seen spreading with in the families. But also is preventable if modified lifestyle is adapted.

For gaining weight Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Hi, do exercises, walking, cycling regularly. Take tab phytolacca berry (dr wilmar shawbe. German) 2tabs to be chewed twice a day for 1mth eat oats daily as it contains high fiber and helps in reducing fats effectively. Avoid bakery products and too much of fermented food revert back.

If your blood sugar is in good control, then you can eat one or two servings of following fruits on daily basis: papaya, watermelon, apple, pear, guava, other melons, orange, sweet lime (mosambi).

Here are some diet tips 1. Eat high fibre food avoids eating food in simple sugar form 2. Eat fresh fruits instead of fruit juices. Fruits are good source of fibre except banana mango, chiku. 3. Try to avoid deep fried food and oil containing food. Control your fat consumption in your routine diet 4. Avoid bakery products, sweets. 5. Have plenty of water at least 3 lt/day 6. At least half hour walk/day.

Stomach Infection - 4 Ways to Avoid it!

Contaminated food is one of the most common sources of infections in the human body and so the stomach is one of the most commonly affected organs. Whether it is eating raw food or unhygienically prepared foods, the stomach has very high chance of getting infected than other body parts.

One of the most common causes of stomach infection is the norovirus also called as cruise ship virus. Spread through vomitus and faecal material, it is quite contagious and can affect large amounts of people in confined areas like a cruise ship. The common symptoms would include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, bloated feeling, abdominal pain (generalised or localised), fatigue and tiredness.

On the brighter side, there are well-proven measures listed below which are simple and easy to follow that can help avoid stomach infection.

  1. Restore bacterial balance: The good bacteria in the stomach are lost with the stomach flu and restoring it will help in managing the flu. A good amount of probiotics and fermented foods including yoghurt, sour curd, etc., will do wonders by restoring natural flora. Supplements can be taken if required, and these bacteria will restore the ability of the stomach to fight the virus.
  2. Isolation and separation: If there is a close family member affected by the virus, ensure they are staying separately and all their clothing (bedding included) are maintained in an isolated manner. Children and elderly need extra protection, whether they are affected or are in the same household.
  3. Cleaning methods: Since the virus spreads by contaminated faecal matter, vomitus and through surfaces, it is necessary to prevent the spread.
    • When in doubt, washing hands is very useful. Use soap and water instead of a hand wash. Staying away from picking nose and touching eyes are also useful.
    • The infected person’s clothes should be washed separately in extra hot water and bleached to get rid of the virus.
    • Using the dishwasher or soaking the washed utensils in extra-hot water is a good way to get rid of the virus.
    • Surfaces like laptops need to be cleaned more regularly and rigorously.
    • Steam cleaning of carpets is a good idea to get rid of the virus that may be locked there.
    • Avoid going out or being in close contact for about a week, as the virus needs that much time to clear out completely.
  4. Food habits
    • Do not eat raw or uncooked foods
    • Drink loads of water, clear soups, sports drink and lime juice to replace lost fluid.
    • Eat whole grains and fresh fruits and vegetables that are well-cooked to ensure you get the essential vitamins and minerals.

Following the above measures can help avoid the stomach flu and stay healthy. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a general physician.

You may grow a little more since you are now 18 years old. You should aim to eat healthy natural foods. Right now your height to weight ratio is also fine. Please avoid eating supplements/medicines for growth. They all have side effects and they may damage something in you permanently. Better to eat natural foods. Do gymming / exercises regularly. Be fit and be confident.

Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases.  In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. First of all let me tell you that there is no shortcuts in the process of muscle gain. Increasing muscle volume & strength is a highly complicated process which is influenced by various internal & external factors. In the following article you will get a glimpse of that highly complicated process as well as some of its influencing factors. I have made utmost effort in the following article  to oversimplify the total process & the factors so that it would be easy to understand for you Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. All type of exercises can be classified under two broad headings:- (1) HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training (2) LISS or Low intensity Steady Stamina. In short just remember that HIIT is weight training & LISS is cardio exercise like swimming & running. Both the form of exercise increases the rate of metabolism. Metabolism is the set of life-sustaining chemical transformations within the cells of living organisms. In order to add mass to your muscle you need to increase your rate of metabolism. Once your rate of metabolism or BMR is increased you will be able to achieve your goals
