Hi doc actually I gained post pregnancy weight around 7 kgs and have a c sec and the baby is 7 months old. Due to c sec I didn't exercise gained weight around belly o now I am walking for 3 kilometers on treadmill daily and taking light meals does it work to loose weight and how long it takes.

Dear mam. Don't push yourself too hard. You didn't notified whether you are still breast-feeding your baby or not. If you are breast-feeding now then I would advise to take care of your health. During breast-feeding a bulk portion of your nutrition is supplied to the baby. So if you are breast-feeding I would advise you to exercise little and eat healthy foods. Because this is the time when your baby's nutrition is literally in your hands. If you have stopped breast feeding then maintain your daily work-out schedule, avoid fatty foods, for more quick results join a local gymn and exercise under a guidance of a trainer.

For increasing your weight Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Dear, if you do not feel hunger then to increase your hunger, I suggest you these best tips- * take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily once. *take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening. * if you still do not feel hunger and feel some heaviness in stomach then check out your liver function test and take 1 tea spoon of liv-52 syrup daily one time. * walk for atleast 15-20 minutes daily and avoid long duration continuos sitting. * avoid taking alcohol and smoking. * check out your thyroid profile and take proper treatment if results are positive. * regularly take a citrus fruit like orange or a glass of lemon juice atleast for 1 month.

dear user first thing you have not mentioned, from how many years your dad is diabetic. Anyway the appropriate diet for your father is reduce or completely avoid that kind of food items having starch or sucrose, like rice, potato, cane suger, bananas. And all other items having rich amount of carbohydrate. And reduce the amount of saturated fat. And cholesterol. Like egg yolk etc.

Dear sir, Please add Jou or barley flour in your diet. Roast this flour and mix 1/4th of it in normal wheat flour. Prepare chapaties wit it and Eat it daily. Eat more of fiber containing food like green leafy vegies, more of fresh seasonal fruits, drink less water with meals instead take sips of water while eating food and don?t drink before and after. Sit in Vajra Asan for 2- 5 mins or walk 100 steps after every meal. We’re awfully quick to assume that if we feel exhausted, we should take a nap. But have you ever noticed that if you lie in bed all day, barring recovery or illness, you feel more sluggish? Your head may feel a bit fuzzy and achy, and you feel like energy was sucked out of your body, instead of replenished. This is because over-resting or sleeping has the exact opposite effect we want it to have, while exercise boosts our energy long-term. If you are feeling fatigued and not moving around much, you may just need a good regular dose of fresh air to rejuvenate your body and mind. As a bonus, when you do rest, it will feel that much better and be that much more refreshing than if you’d sat around all day and done nothing. It also improves mood, thanks to the endorphins being released, and feeling gloomy is a major contributor to fatigue. Note: Excessive or extreme activity can sometimes create feelings of fatigue, however you generally feel refreshed in the long term. You will need… -A good pair of shoes (optional, unless you plan on walking into a store.) Directions/Advice It is of the utmost importance that you keep your exercise regular to boost your energy, particularly long-term. Don’t set the bar too high in the beginning if you think you’ll easily get discouraged attempting a 4 mile run. Just lace up, slip on, or leave off your shoes and get outside. Take your dog for a walk, go for a casual stroll-anything-even a little exercise is better than none. If the weather isn’t cooperating, turn on some tunes and come up with an indoor workout routine. I am diabetic since 16 years taking tresiba 40 units along with Novorapid thrice a day of dosages 18 units, 10 units and 10 units respectively. But my blood sugar level is fluctuating. One time blood glucose level come down very low and other time it shoots up to 328 mg/ dl. Kindly suggest. I have thyroid also and is normal. No blood pressure and any other. Hello Lybrate user, Constant high or fluctuating blood sugar will not only have a negative impact upon eyes but other health parameters too.
