Homeopath,
You need proper treatment. Check your thyroid. For hair fall change your shampoo into baby shampoo. Avoid iodized salt. Apply natural henna powder dipped in liquor of tea overnight. Next day add whole egg, 10 ml coconut oil, few drops of lemon juice and curd. Apply it on your scalp. Once in a week. With this you need proper homeopathic treatment for permanent solution of hair fall. Sooo you can contact me through Lybrate.

Hello, can you please send a picture of the nails. You will need an antifungal tablet and an antifungal cream also. Also since the fungus is present in the nails, it will take almost 6 months to cure as the nails are stubborn to cure.

Hello Dr. I am suffering from hair loss since last 1 and half years. But since last 4 to 5 months I am getting dandruff white dust particles like in my head. I am masturbating twice a week. Is it cause any problem for hair loss. Please suggest me any medicine?

BHMS
Homeopath, Raebareli
No masturbation will not cause any hairloss. Please note the following for your condition: The head should be massaged slowly with oil or shampoo while bathing or cleaning hairs resulting blood circulation becomes fast and the skin of the head is protected from dryness. Shampoo should be used only two times a week. Hairs should be washed with curd for removing dandruff. Spicy or fried foodstuffs should not be eaten. Excessive cream or jell should not be applied on hairs. For further queries get back to me.

Please tell me some treatment for small small funsi on my face. What should i do?

BHMS
Homeopath, Secunderabad
Firstly keep the face clean and do not touch frequently as that may aggravate the problem and also infect it. Keep the hands clean. Use a simple antiseptic solution (like Savlon) to clean the eruption. Usually it dries up in a few days. If not get it treated.

Conducted a full body test and found I am deficient of iron, vitamin D and B12. Should I consult a GP or Nutritionist? Also, should I take supplements. I already on biotin, finasteride (hair loss)

M.Sc - Dietitics / Nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist,
Animal proteins provide you with an easily absorbed form of iron called heme iron. According to the Office of Dietary Supplements, liver, beef, turkey, chicken and pork supply you with heme iron. Women under the age of 50 need at least 18 milligrams of iron daily, while all other adults need at least 8 milligrams of iron per day. Eating more of these iron-rich proteins may help boost your iron levels. Vegetables and Beans If you prefer not to eat meat, some vegetarian proteins contain a form of iron, called non-heme iron. Absorption of non-heme iron is enhanced when it's consumed with vitamin C or a source of heme iron, according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention. Including more soybeans, lentils, kidney beans, lima beans, navy beans, black beans and pinto beans in your diet helps you get more non-heme iron. Eating leafy greens, such as spinach and kale, boosts your iron intake as well. Seafood Vitamin D is found naturally in very few foods. The best dietary sources of the vitamin are fatty fish, including cod liver oil, swordfish, salmon, tuna fish and sardines. Oysters, tuna fish, crab, shrimp and halibut supply you with iron as well. Adults under 70 years old need at least 600 international units of vitamin D daily to maintain health. If you're over 70 years old, you'll need an additional 200 international units of vitamin D per day. Including seafood regularly in your diet can help you boost vitamin D levels. Fortified Foods In addition to the naturally occurring sources of iron and vitamin D, certain foods are fortified with the nutrients. According to the U. S. Food and Drug Administration, this means the nutrients are added in standard amounts during food processing to improve the nutritional quality of the food. Including more iron-fortified breakfast cereals, oatmeal and bread helps you meet your need for iron, while orange juice, milk, yogurt, cheese and some breakfast cereals contain added vitamin D. Check the food label to see if vitamin D or iron were added. Vitamin B-12, or Cobalamin, is the largest and most complex vitamin currently known to man. A slight deficiency of vitamin B-12 can lead to anemia, fatigue, mania, and depression, while a long term deficiency can cause permanent damage to the brain and central nervous system. Vitamin B12 can only be manufactured by bacteria and can only be found naturally in animal products, however, synthetic forms are widely available and added to many foods like cereals. Vitamin B12 can be consumed in large doses because excess is excreted by the body or stored in the liver for use when supplies are scarce. Stores of B12 can last for up to a year. Below are the top 10 foods highest in vitamin B12 by common serving sizes, click here for high vitamin B12 foods by nutrient density, here for an extended list of vitamin B12 rich foods, and here for other foods high in vitamin B. In that case you should not wait more. Please follow a proper advice on skin care by a registered medical practitioner. I can suggest you to use a face wash, a good sunscreen with minimum spf 30 avoid pricking your pimples. Try curd and turmeric combination on your face. It can help you.

I had used topical steroids on my face for last 6 years for acne. I stopped in January. But since then I had on and off redness, and since may its dry crusty. Right now my face is full of dry yellow crusty scales, below which at some places its raw red. It burns a lot. I came through topical steroid withdrawal (tsw) and I almost find 90% of its symptoms in me. Doctors TLD its rosacea, but except redness. I don't have any other symptoms of it. Can anyone help me. And currently since 2 days I just wash my face with water and not apply anything. My face is full of those scales, prominent where you used to apply steroids the most. What do I have exactly.

Hello. It seems there is rakta dusti meaning derangement in the blood and tissue locally. You can use saribadyasava syrup 15 ml twice daily diluted with equal water after food and tab gandhaka rasayana 2 tab (or 500 mg) twice daily after food and tab chandanadi vati 2 tab twice daily. If you do not find improvement in about a weeks period, you can approach an ayurveda doctor for leech therapy, which can reduce local tissue problems.
