Mam I just want to know about green tea. Few days earlier I have taken green tea on regular basis but recently one of my relative told me to avoid green tea as this is not good for girls health. They warned me that if I will not stop to take this then I will face lots of troubles in future. According to them green tea is not good for girls and after some time they may be face problems in pregnancy.

Green tea is over hyped as a detoxification agent. Recent studies have shown that the content of flouride is higher and it is harmful for general health. About pregnancy and fertility it may affect young girls due to certain chemicals, but of taken in moderation like a cup or two per day, it's okay but may be harmful for girls consuming 10 cups or more to detoxification or as a weight loss diet, it sure is danger sign for future.

Doctor I am 21+weeks pregnant in my tiffa scan my baby has a echogenic focus on intra cardiac and no other soft markers and my double marker and NT scan is also very good what are the meaning of no other soft marker and is there any problem for the baby's heart and is there any abnormalities in the baby.

Don'€™t worry. An isolated soft marker like echogenic intracranial focus (EIF) does not increase the risk of aneuploidy and should not be considered significant unless other abnormalities are present. EIF is usually left sided, is present in 4% of foetuses but it may be found in approximately 30% of Asian individuals .It is not associated with any structural or functional abnormality of the heart.

Homeopathy for PCOS

Homeopathy for PCOS

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS is referred to as a condition that leads to an imbalance in the hormonal levels of women between the ages of 18 to 44. Women suffering from the syndrome develop small cysts in the ovaries. These cysts might disrupt the normal functions of the ovaries resulting in hormonal imbalances. If you suffer from PCOS, the secretion of the male hormone androgen (which is present in a small amount in every female) increases abnormally, thereby causing a significant disruption of the ovulation process and the menstruation cycles.

Causes:

Women suffering from obesity or who have a past history of PCOS in their families are at a higher risk of suffering from the syndrome.

Symptoms:

The symptoms that one might experience along with syndrome are as follows:

  1. Appearances of acne along with the development of excess body and facial hair.

  2. Irregular or no periods.

  3. Problems with conception and infertility.

  4. Intense pain in the pelvic area and severe depression.

Homeopathic Treatment for PCOS:

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is curable with the Homeopathic mode of treatment. Homeopathic treatment for polycystic ovarian syndrome is very safe and free from any side effect.Which Homeopathic medicine is required to extract the disease from its roots varies from case to case. Both the physical and mental spheres of the patient are thoroughly investigated while prescribing the Homeopathic medicine. The complete cure of PCOS is a time-consuming process and it cannot be expected in a few days. It requires complete observation regarding the change of symptoms in the patient and frequent clinical follow-ups. Some of the most beneficial homeopathic remedies for PCOS are:

  1. Sepia – Useful for the symptoms of severe pain in the lower back and abdominal areas along with abnormal menstrual periods.

  2. Apis Mellifica –This homeopathic preparation is effective in relieving the symptoms of severe pain in the ovarian regions along with tenderness in the abdominal and uterine areas caused by PCOS.

  3. Pulsatilla – This medication is very effective in treating symptoms of PCOS such as late and minimal menstrual periods along with rapid mood swings, irritation and a decreased sensation of thirst.

  4. Sulphur – This homeopathic preparation is very useful if there is a presence of severely itchy and painful acne along with other skin related symptoms of PCOS.

  5. Natrum Muriaticum – This homeopathic preparation is useful if you experience significant problems with conception along with irregularity in menstrual cycles, along with an excessive craving for salt in the regular diet, unwillingness towards sunlight exposure, and intense episodes of crying and uncharacteristic shyness.

  6. Graphites – If you are of a stout build or are overweight and regularly suffer from constipation along with PCOS, graphites are one of the best homeopathic medications to relieve symptoms and treat this condition.

These are just a few of the commonly used Homeopathic remedies and are mentioned only to create awareness about the effectiveness of Homeopathic medicines for PCOS. It is not advisable to resort to self-medication for any disease. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a homeopath.

The time you spend with your wife has to be around her ovulation time, only then there are chances of conceiving. In a normal healthy female with 28 day cycle, ovulation occurs on day 14 I if bleeding or menses started on 1 st of a month, then she will ovulate (egg release) on around 14 th. So try from day 10 to day 16 of menstrual cycle. I 10th date to 16 th date if menses bleeding started in 1st date.

As you asked me to use the minoxidil lotion. Can female also use this. And what are the other medicines should I use? Please clear my doubt.

As you asked me to use the minoxidil lotion. Can female also use this. And what are the other medicines should I use?...
Someone must have advised you to use minoxidil, yes females can use 2% solution and males 5%. One of the side effects is hair fall! it takes months for new follicles to grow. I can suggest some home remedies to strengthen the follicles- 1) apply curd on scalp, leave it for 1 hour, wash with shampoo. 2) vinegar on scalp like curd does help 3) so does lemon juice for oily hair but why should a healthy woman shed more hair at 25? get thyroid tested, wash with ketoconazole shampoo easily available over the counter, in case there is some fungal infection on scalp. Was hair daily after using on scalp- coconut oil overnight. Do not wash hair once or twice a week, we are living in a hot country and we need to take care of scalp which is also a part of entire face. Eat a high protein and calcium rich diet.

Hello Dear,Periods occur when the egg formed during each menstrual cycle in the female body is not fertilized and hence ejected out of the reproductive system along with blood and several other tissue cells. The duration of each menstrual cycle is about 28 days Most women will experience their monthly period right from the time they are 13 to the time they are 50. For many women, their monthly period is nothing more than an annoyance; but other women may suffer some problems. Visit us at www.Malhotraayurveda.Com

Your Sexual Health In 30s: A Health Guide

Men in their 20s are more active and possess fast metabolic rates as they can be good in bed even after having a tiresome day. How can this not be possible in your 30s? This is because you have hit your 30s and there is a lot of difference in the peak you had in your previous ages. To understand this change is quite critical, as what you do during these changes affects your overall sexual health.

The male menopause also known as andropause starts hitting individuals as early as 35. During this stage, there is a drop in the libido and even can cause erectile dysfunctions.

How do you avoid this? Here what you can do on a regular basis to keep yourself fit at all times so you can be fit when it matters the most!

  1. Check your family medical history
  2. Check your testosterone levels proactively
  3. Eliminate artificial sweeteners
  4. Keep a check on your alcohol consumption
  5. Dump the junk and add more veggies to the palate
  6. Get a lot of sleep

1. Check your family medical history - Family history is an important determinant to understand the faults in one's genetic DNA. It matters even though you and your family must be living a different lifestyle or live in a different environment, but as they say, it is all in the genes. You can still lead a healthy sex life if you are active and fit at times available to you.

2. Check your testosterone levels proactively - Declining levels of testosterone brings a lot of problems such as hair loss, decreased sex drive, depression and memory levels which is again a vicious cycle. To avoid this, include meat, fish, cheese and yogurt in your regular diet

3. Eliminate artificial sweeteners - Sugar may not be our strongest friend but it is our strongest foe for it all does other than lessening sweetness in our morning tea/coffee/diet soda but also increases the risk of developing non-Hodgkin's lymphoma

4. Keep a check on your alcohol consumption - It is okay if we gulp down a drink or two of red wine daily, but if it is more than that, then you can say good bye to love making sessions as excessive drinking can not only destroy your liver and your gut and so on but also impair your libido. The key here is just moderation.

5. Get a lot of sleep - A minimum 6 hours of sleep is ideal as it helps your brain health, manages your stress levels and most importantly optimizes the male hormone production which helps you in a healthy libido to satiate your partner. Men who sleep lesser than 6 hours have an increased risk of stroke and heart disease as well. So take care of your body while you can before it's too late!

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
