What can be maximum endometrium thickness just prior to menses date? My last menses were on 10th June. On 28th june, I had USG done, which showed 11 mm endometrium thickness. And today that is 6th July, it's 28 mm. My gynaecologist said that it's premenstrual. But still I am worried. I would like a second opinion. I am 24 years old and unmarried.

Hello, 28 mm is a lot. The endometrial thickness before menses is usually 11-14 mm considering that there is no progesterone deficiency which is responsible for secretory phase and compacting of endometrium. 28 mm can cause heavy bleeding and also progesterone deficiency should be ruled out. Please follow up for further queries in detail.

A-around 15% of pregnancies gets miscarried, that is nature's rule. You should avoid next pregnancy for 6 months from the last abortion. Chances of repeat abortion or pretem delivery increases if one becomes pregnant within 6 months of miscarriage. Also if abortion/ miscarriage was caused by any viral infection, then it will get cured automatically within 3 months time. Use contraception for 6 months. Best one to use are oral contraceptive pills. No special treatment or tests are needed if you had only one miscarriage or spontaneous abortion. No bed rest needed for the miscarriage for more than a week.

Can I sex with my wife. She is pregnant and 6 month running. Give me advice please.

There is no evidence that suggests sex is contraindicated in pregnancy as long as there are no issues with vaginal bleeding or leakage or any pregnancy related complications.

You are suffering from sub clinical hypothyroidism and this has been revealed by the high TSH. Please continue taking Thyronorm at 12.5 daily. It is very difficult to pinpoint the source of the allergen and you must keep a careful watch on all food items/ drugs which aggrevate this condition. You must avoid anything under suspicion.

She was suffering from periods nd she feel lot of pain den how to reduce the pain during dat tym?
She is suffering from dysmenorrhoea which should be initially treated with meftal spas three times a day during menses. If the pain is too severe and not controlled by medicines then she would benefit by getting ultrasound done which can find ovarian cyst or endometriosis or fibroids.

The most common early signs and symptoms of pregnancy might include: Missed period. If you're in your childbearing years and a week or more has passed without the start of an expected menstrual cycle, you might be pregnant. Tender, swollen breasts. Nausea with or without vomiting. Increased urination. Fatigue. YOu can confirm by a pregnancy test.

My age is 23. I was diagnosed with a cyst formation. Epidydimal cyst of 7*8mm. Is there any homeopathic treatment for this instead of operation.

MBBS, MS - General Surgery, DNB
Urologist, Bangalore
Epididymal cyst by itself means nothing, unless you are any additional problems, like unable to procreate, or pain, fever, etc. Hence there is no need for any treatment, let alone homeopathic.

Hey I am 19 year old actually first time I taken I pill to avoid pregnancy is there any problem or any serious issues regarding my body.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS

Hey I am 19 year old actually first time I taken I pill to avoid pregnancy is there any problem or any serious issues...
I understand your concern... Single use of I pill do not affect the future pregnancy. I pill is actually high dose progesterone. Effect of it will last only for a month. But repeated use may cause menstrual irregularity and indirectly may affect the ovulation. There is no definitive study to prove its effect on future pregnancy.. So use an alternative contraceptive measure instead of repeated use of the pill.
