Reason for backbone pain at this age could be fatigue, trauma, deterioration of shukra the semen. Anyone of these would vitiate'vata' pl send history. Till then pl take turmeric powder, dry ginger powder and honey mixed with warm milk, hot water bath and any muscle relaxant oil should be applied after hot fomentation.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Hello lybrate user, it is possible that you might have sustained a soft tissue injury in your knee joint which was missed at the time of trauma when only bony injuries were investigated for. If you still have regular pains then I would suggest you get an mri done for the same. You could also consult an orthopaedic surgeon for a detailed clinical evaluation. You might also need to undergo arthroscopic examination of the knee joint if one is not able to reach a diagnosis with an mri. Hope this helps.

I am 50 yr old male. I sliped on road a 5yrs ago and had some bad injuries to my legs. Now I am quite fine but sometimes my ankle pains and swells even my nerves at that point ache, making me unable to walk. I consulted relevant doctors and showed my scaning reports, they aren't able to find any problem, but my ankle aches not frequently but for about in 3months interval. Can I get any suggetion regarding my problem?

Show me your x rays.(digital x-rays can be posted on computer-ask your doctor) continue with physiotherapy do hot fomentation. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

It could be due to food poisoning 1.Take bland diet, avoid oily,spicy,fried and junk food, 2.Drink plenty of water with ORS/electral 3.Take one Tablet of meftal spas Ds as and when required after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily 4.Take one tablet of Aciloc RD twice daily before food 5.consult doctor for further advice

I met with a minor accident and was diagnosed with a UN DISPLACED 2ND metatarsal FRACTURE (L) MY LEFT WAS PUT IN TEMPORARY PLASTER FOR TWO WEEKS WHICH WAS CONVERTED IN TO PERMANENT PLASTER TODAY. BUT I FEEL IT IS LOOSE. BUT DOCTOR SAYS IT IS O.K. & ASKED ME TO REVIEW IT AFTER ONE WEEK. I BELIEVE HIS OPINION IS ONLY TO COVER UP. WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF IT IS O.K IF THE PLASTER IS TOO LOSE ON FIRST DAY ITSELF.

hi undisplayed fracture has no complications..some surgeons prefer to give a walking plaster with heel...while some advise only strapping of foot in undisplaced fracture.. since it's weight transmitting metatarsal, I would prefer for walking plaster for 4 weeks do not worry if plaster is loose, just refrain from walking for aother 2 to 3 weeks thanks

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi Rose, please get pelvic ultrasound done to rule out ovarian conditions and hormonal status to know cause . After knowing cause you can take tablets to get period and prevent further complications.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hamstring stretching towel hamstring stretch lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated hamstring stretch while sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds repeat 3 times for each leg.

I'm 20 years old guy my thighs are big and I want to reduce it how can I reduce it and shape it instead of joining gym my height and weight is 5.7 and 75 kg approx respectively. Take aloevera juice twice daily empty stomach. Do makar asan, shalabh asan and dhanur asan as it will help to reduce your wiehgt as well as your back ache. Take green tea of tulsi flavour daily one time and add 100 friuts in your diet. Drink plenty of water daily and do pranayam and brisk walking daily. When your back ache is improved do leg rotation exercises.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contacts your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it doe s not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference?

Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hi, Get your blood tested for CBC with Hb% & ESR. Simple nutritional deficiency can cause general weakness of the body. Would advise you to take homoeopathic medicines - Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. - both thrice daily, and let me know about your condition after a month.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.
