How Psoriasis Affects the Nails

Many people who have psoriasis also experience changes in their fingernails or toenails. There are several treatments that can help.Nail psoriasis is the term for the changes in your fingernails and toenails that occur as a result of having psoriasis. It is generally believed that up to half of all people who have psoriasis will have nail psoriasis as well. While it's not a life-threatening condition, nail psoriasis can affect your quality of life, since it may cause you discomfort and affect your self-esteem, and it may also put you at greater risk of developing psoriatic arthritis. nail psoriasis can be helped with treatment.

How Psoriasis Affects the Nails:
Nail psoriasis occurs because psoriasis affects the process of nail formation. People who have nail psoriasis usually have psoriasis on other parts of their body, such as the skin and joints. Rarely does someone have only psoriasis of the nails.

Symptoms of nail psoriasis vary but may include:

  • Discoloration of the nail to yellow brown
  • Pitting (holes) in the surface of the nails
  • Horizontal lines across the nails
  • White patches on the nails
  • Thickening of the nails
  • Nails that separate from the nail bed
  • Nail Psoriasis Treatment Options

Your treatment will depend on the type of nail psoriasis you have and how severe it is. If you have psoriasis that affects other parts of your body, their treatments will help  your nail psoriasis.

In addition to treatment for nail psoriasis, there are other ways to take care of your nails:

  • Keep your nails trimmed as short as possible.
  • Wear gloves when you're working with your hands.
  • Wear shoes with plenty of room in them.
  • Avoid scrubbing or scraping underneath your nails.
  • Use gentle nail cleaning tools.
  • Soak your nails in tar bath oil mixed with water, then apply nail moisturizer.
  • If your nails are intact, consider using a nail hardener to improve their appearance.
  • Taking good care of your nails can minimize the effects of psoriasis associated nail changes.

From your symptoms I feel you are having sciatica. Sciatic pain can vary from infrequent and irritating to constant and incapacitating. Symptoms are usually based on the location of the pinched nerve. To manage new sciatica pain, you may find that certain positions and activities are more comfortable than others. The proper exercises from a physiotherapist will help reduce sciatic pain. The exercises recommended will depend on what's causing the sciatica. It's important to work with a specialist who has experience working with people with sciatica. It's also important to do the exercises exactly as directed. Here are some home treatments for sciatica which you can follow: -do not bend, lift, or sit in a soft, low chair; the pain will get worse. -try a cold pack to see if it helps the pain. If you don't have a cold pack, use a large bag of frozen vegetables; it makes a good first aid cold pack. -after the cold massages, try alternating with heat from hot bag. -you may feel better lying on your back on a firm surface with a pillow under knees. Another option is lying on side with a pillow between the knees to keep the back straight. Also, a recliner chair is helpful. -do activities one is able to tolerate. Best wishes.

General Physician,

Jelqing is the most effective way add size to your manhood. Coupled with a water based pump, it’s the fastest way to get a thicker penis hands down. Here is a basic guide for newbies who want to start using this exercise right away. Step 1: Rub down your penis with a quality lubricant. The best lubricant for Jelqing is one that will not dry out fast, allowing you to complete several strokes before needing a second application. (I suggest astroglide) Step 2: Give yourself a partial erection, 50%-70% of your full erect state. Your penis should not be erect enough to have sex, but it should be erect enough to where you can feel blood moving in and out when you Kegel. Step 3: With your dominant hand, make the “OK” gesture while wrapping your thumb and index finger around the base of your penis. You should get as close to your pubic bone as possible. Step 4: Squeeze the “OK” grip at the base, and slide your hand upwards towards the head of your penis. You want enough pressure in your grip that you feel the squeeze, and feel the blood being forced upwards into the shaft and head of your penis. If the grip is painful at all, you are squeezing to tight, or are using an improper gripping technique. Step 5: Continue to the glance of your penis, and stop just under the outer mushroom edge of your penis glance (head). You have just completed one Jelq. Each stroke should take no longer than 3 seconds, and no less than 1 second. From One Jelq to Jelqing: From here you want to alternate hands, keeping as much blood as possible in the penis while reapplying the OK grip with your other hand. Each stroke lasting no longer than three seconds, and gripping firmly enough to create pressure inside the penile shaft. Basic Jelq- The OK Base Grip Basic Jelq- The OK Base Grip Basic Jelq- Sliding OK Grip to Penile Glands Basic Jelq- Sliding OK Grip to Penile Glands Basic Jelq- Completing the Jelq Stroke at Glands Basic Jelq- Completing the Jelq Stroke at Glands Safe Jelqing Rules Always use a lubricant! If you are circumcised, the amount of friction can cause damage unless you are uncircumcised. Always “warm-up” for a few minutes to ensure you are 50-70% erect. Never jelq while you have a full erection, this will damage your penis. Never ejaculate while jelqing, the firm OK grip will prevent your semen discharge and create a painful situation. If you are Uncircumsized, you need to read about the different variations of jelqing. Five Minute Sessions Once you get the hang of it, you should have no problem completing 100 Jelqs in 5 minutes. Use this simple routine for your first 30 days. You will immediately notice your erections are harder, and your penis will appear thicker and meatier. Week 1: One 5 minute session – 100 strokes (100 Total) Week 2: Two 5 minute sessions – 100 strokes each (200 Total) Week 3: Two 5 minute sessions – 150 strokes each (300 Total) Week 4: Two 10 minute sessions – 300 strokes each (600 Total)

Hello- Indian females lack nutrition in their daily meals, which cause menstrual problems regularly. Start consuming dairy products (except curd) in excess. They are the good source of omega 3, which inhibits the release of Prostaglandins in blood and hence prevent menstrual pain effectively.

Old saying - Prevention is better than cure. And Ayurveda/Yoga is all about preventive measures - Take care of daily intake, don't take anything non seasonal.
Believe in "Achaar (Good conduct/moral character), Vichar (Good positive thinking), Niyam (Follow strict daily routine like wake up, sleep time, meal timings etc.), karma, Dharma and sanyam (Control). You will never get ill. I promise. Give it a try - and see the change in life.
