Dear lybrate user with the limited amount of information provided it appears that you are concerned about your weight. For a successful weight reduction it is essential that you should start exercising 30-45 min on a regular basis and should have strict diet which is low in carbohydrate and high in fibre. Right now difficult to say without testing what you could be suffering from. So if in doubt then get yourself tested. Hope that solves your query. Anything more then please feel free to revert.

repeat your blood tests lipid profile.and consult again. High cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Dear doctors, I'm asking about a diabetic patient not a normal one. If a diabetic patient takes a lot of stress, sugar level in his blood will reduce? Hi incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

Eat more than three meals a day. If you naturally have a really fast metabolism, eating three meals a day, no matter what's in them, isn't going to help you bulk up.your body burns calories fast, so you need to feed it more than it can use up right away. That means eating not just when you're hungry, but throughout the day. Aim to eat five meals a day to gain weight. Stick to whole foods loaded with nutrients. To gain healthy weight, eat food thats nutrient rich and nourishing.while you could easily gain weight by drinking sugary sodas and eating large pizzas every day, this can wreck your metabolism and cause you to gain fat instead of muscle. When you're choosing food to eat, try the following look for foods that are relatively unprocessed. For example, choose old-fashioned oatmeal instead of instant, and go for fresh chicken as opposed to processed lunch meat cook as many meals from scratch as you can. Avoid getting frozen dinners, fast food and snack foods, which contain a lot of salt, sugar and other fillers that aren't nutritious. Focus on protein, fats and carbohydrates. These are the three staples that will help you gain weight, and you need plenty of each of them to stay healthy. Focus on incorporating protein, fats and carbohydrates into every meal you eat so your diet stays balanced. Here are some examples of good choices in each category proteins: eggs, salmon, tuna, and other fish;, and ham; chicken breasts and thighs; lean and steaks? fats: olive oil, safflower oil, coconut oil, and grapeseed oil; avocados, walnuts, almonds, flaxseeds carbohydrates: fruits and vegetables; beans, lentils, peas; brown rice, whole grain bread, whole grain pasta and other whole grain products; honey and fruit juice for ayurvedic medicine contact purna clinic gulbarga in 1 month wt increase e4-5 kg no any side effect you take 1 month trail pack and course is 3month.

How can I be refreshed and energetic all the time. I feel laziness sometime. Please suggest me to cope with these issues.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
You can feel weak due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Persistent weakness can be caused by health problems like anemia, arthritis, hypothyroidism, a sleep disorder, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes and heart disease. In these cases, it is very important to find out the exact cause behind your weakness. To feel energetic and refreshed in life, you must exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, maintain your ideal body weight, follow a good diet, sleep properly, drink water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated, avoid alcohol and stop smoking if you do .

What kind of food or vegetables we should eat to get vitamin D, E and B? Apart from medicine.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
What kind of food or vegetables we should eat to get vitamin D, E and B? Apart from medicine.
Milk is fortified with vitamin D, as are many ready-to-eat cereals and some brands of yogurt and orange juice. Cheese naturally contains small amounts of vitamin D. Fatty fish such as salmon, tuna, and mackerel are very good sources of vitamin D. Small amounts of vitamin D are also found in beef liver and egg yolks. Most plant seed oils are very good sources for Vitamin E as well. The best oil with vitamin E is Wheat germ oil. In fact, one tablespoon of this oil holds 100% of your daily Vitamin E requirements. Sunflower oil is another excellent option, as it provides over 5 mg of the vitamin, and can easily be be used for cooking. Thiamin is also known as vitamin B1. It has several important functions, including: Working with other B-group vitamins to help break down and release energy from food Keeping the nervous system healthy Good sources of thiamin Thiamin is found in most types of food. Good sources include: Vegetables – such as peas Fresh and dried fruit Eggs Wholegrain breads Some fortified breakfast cereals Liver.

I am suffering from obesity. How to reduce my fat and control obesity? Wait for you r response.

I am suffering from obesity. How to reduce my fat and control obesity?
Wait for you r response.
Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Hello lybrate-user-patients of diabetes very commonly develop neuropathy due to the long-standing nature of the disease. Neuropathy is a disorder in which the nerves start to behave erratically sending signals to the brain without the stimulus when it is called neuropathy with positive symptoms - the symptoms being burning, tingling, pins and needles, tearing in the skin etc or it could be a situation in which the nerves stop sending signals to the brain when it is neuropathy with negative symptoms- the negative symptoms being numbness, lifelessness, emptiness etc. You have a neuropathy with positive symptoms. There are two ways it has to be treated. Firstly we would like to give you relief by giving you some neuropathy medicines. Secondly we would like to give you some medicines so that the progression of this neuropathy stop at your nerves can recover from this trouble. But most importantly in all this process you have to ensure that you take proper medication so that your blood sugar remains normal. Everything hinges upon the fact that your blood sugar is normal. Without a proper control of blood sugar no matter how much you try to cure this neuropathy- things will not improve at the basic level.

Eat plenty of calories at every meal. Eating five small, low-calorie meals isn’t going to cut it; they’ve got to be big and rich in calories. Load up on a restaurant-sized meal each time, with big portions of meat, vegetables, and a carbohydrate. Eating this much might not exactly feel comfortable, but it’s the best way to gain weight fast.[2] •A large enough breakfast might consist of a three-egg omelet, two slices of bacon or sausage, a cup of roasted breakfast potatoes and a glass of orange juice. •For lunch, try a fully dressed turkey club on whole wheat bread, two bananas, and a salad. •Dinner could be a grilled steak, loaded baked potato and a few cups of grilled veggies.
