Homeopathic Treatment for Asthma

Asthma is a condition that severely affects the lungs. The airways become narrow and the lungs become inflamed. Its characteristic features include bronchospasm, reversible airflow obstruction and variable and recurring symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness. This might be caused up to 2 to 3 times a day.

Causes:
Causes include:

  1. Daily use of Paracetamol
  2. Vaccines
  3. Daily use of antibiotics
  4. Caesarean sections
  5. Asthma in family

Asthma is usually triggered by:

  1. Tobacco Smoke
  2. Exercise
  3. Polluted or Poor air
  4. Cold Air
  5. Emotional Stress
  6. Allergies

Homeopathic Treatment: Asthma should be preferably treated using homeopathy. It is safe for most age groups. Asthma is a chronic problem that is best treated by a qualified homeopath. While few cures are found in numerous home use packs since they can treat a number of problems, the effective treatment of asthma usually needs potencies and changes of cures more than the extent of a prescriber and a home kit. For best results, the monitoring of a qualified homeopath should be sought. The homeopathic cures required for asthma change according to the signs of the sufferer. Some of them are listed below:

  1. Arsenicum Album (Ars.): Symptoms requiring the use of this medication include wheezing with dry cough and Asthma caused due to cold air. Upon application, the person will be anxious and restless and the condition worsens after midnight. Sometimes, it might result in exhaustion. There is a chilling sensation and they will crave for warmth. Patients required Ars. will be critical, anxious and afraid of being alone.
  2. Kali Bichromicum (Kali-bi.): Symptoms that require Kali-bi include asthma with stringy and sticky mucus. The patients feel chilly and after a while they get sick. The respiratory tract often is infected with mucous membrane infections. Ulcers are an additional infection.
  3. AntimoniumTartaricum (Ant-t.): Uncomfortable breathing and wet cough with mucus require this medication. It solves many issues that accompany difficult breathing. In severe cases, heart failure is possible.
  4. Grindelia (Grin.): Key symptoms are dry cough and possibility of wheezing. It may be accompanied by Rattling respiration, chronic bronchitis and suffocation during sleep.
  5. Phosphorus (Phos.): Upper respiratory tract infections cause asthma that ends in the chest. This causes coughing and wheezing.

Other homeopathic medicines for treating asthma are Nux Vomica (Nux-v.) and Pulsatilla Pratensis (Puls). If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

I have a normal to oily skin type. Please suggest me some tips or measures to take care of my skin and prevent from pimples.

PG Hom, London, BHMS
Homeopath, Mumbai
Hello lybrate-user, decreased intake of oily foods, ghee, butter, chocolate, ice cream, cakes and pastries will reduce the oil secretion from skin. In turn it reduces pimple formation. Make sure you drink at least 3-4 liters of water every day. Wash your face with a good oil control face wash at least 2 to 3 times a day.

Ldl, the bad fats should be lower than 80 and hdl-good fats should be above 40. Solution is to avoid bad fats like street food, namkeens, and other fatty foods like pizzas, burgers etc. Take a spoon of desighee/ butter + a katori of assorted nuts everyday as good fats do reduce the bad fats. Take a spoon of honey with juice of lemon in warm water, daily on empty stomach, every morning -it does burn the bad fats, do simple exercise like walks. Get tested only after 2 months of trial of all of above and do write back the reports.

What medications are best for the treatment of asthma? what are their side effects?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda, Faridabad
Ayurveda treatment is the best. But depending upon your condition, severity of disease, diet n life style, you may require different medications. Don't bother too much about s. E. Those differs with different medications. Ayurveda, if given after understanding your problem thoroughly and in right dose, there is no s. E.

I am getting headache within 2-3 days regularly. Is this a serious problem? I have to go to the doc or it is because of hot weather.

LCPS, BAM&S

Frequent headache is not normal. Sleep well for at least 7-9 hrs every day, eat four to six times daily in small quantities and worry less. If this doesn't work then see your General Physician.

What is the main reason for sun stroke and how can we prevent this and what is the cure if affected.

MD - Alternate Medicine, BHMS
Homeopath, Surat
1. Stay out from direct heat of sun. 2. Avoid going out at the hottest part of the day. 3. Get acclimated - if you want to spend a lot of time outside in the heat, or if you have to work outside in the heat, get yourself acclimated to the weather first. Start out with small shifts in the heat, building up your resistance to the elevated temperature that you are not used to. As you get used to it, you can start spending more and more time outside, but always remember to take breaks from the heat to give your body a break.

One friend have homosexual interest want to marry can his interest change to females. Please tell.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd

Of course, it could change. However, he must want the change and with some therapy he could develop the natural tendency to love the members of the opposite sex. Have him visit a counselor or sexologist and explore this possibility.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
You are looking down the barrel of a very difficult situation: She is making public her displeasure and is unwilling to seek help from a professional outside the home too. I think that she may have some inhibitions around sex, for many reasons, from her family of origin. In that case, you must be gentle in your approach and find out her discomfort and address that with a lot of understanding and some education. You say that she is also complaining of the frequency of your demands, or is it about how many times you want sex? If the latter, am I to understand that she does let you have sex but not so many times that you want it? If this is true, then again you must be gentle and coax her into the act, and reduce the frequency until she becomes more amenable. One thing to do, to make her more amenable, is to increase the foreplay to a level that is close to orgasm so that the experience is exhilarating that she may want more of it. It is also possible to get a close friend/relative (close also in age to hers), whom she respects to talk to her. In spite of all this, if there is still resistance, you may have to call her parents into the scene and have them intervene to remove whatever is holding her back. And if that fails too, then you will need to call in a spiritual leader to talk her into some compliance. Ideally, you want her to concede on her own volition but if she is playing this hard, you may have to resort to these measures recommended. My other concern is if she is volatile and does something drastic to herself because this is too much for her, we may be taking an undue risk. Consider all this before taking any chances that provoke an adverse reaction.
