Do not give stress to your knee for some time. Take mahanaryan oil and give gentle massage then give steam to it carefully, by this you get relief.

I am 60 years old and have joint pain for about 2 years. The right knee has a slight swelling also. Please help me.

I am 60 years old and have joint pain for about 2 years. The right knee has a slight swelling also. Please help me.
The location of the knee pain can vary depending on which structure is involved. With infection, the whole knee might be swollen and painful, while a torn meniscus or fracture of a bone gives symptoms only in one specific location. The severity of the pain can vary, from a minor ache to a severe and disabling pain. Some of the other findings that accompany knee pain are difficulty walking due to instability of the knee, limping due to discomfort, locking of the knee (unable to bend the knee) so I would like to suggest you to please consult a doctor personally, & get the pain diagnosed to help you to get proper treatment. There is a specific line of treatment in ayurvedic panchkarma & these are practically effective. We have successfully treated many cases of joint pain with the holistic approach of ayurveda & panchkarma.

No, surgery is the only option to restore the bone and its functionality to normalcy. No medicines to recover for such huge fractures. Before doing surgery they will check all your vital parameters are normal and then do the surgery.

My age is 29 and I am doing 15 min yoga posture everyday. Doctor said that is because of acidity and prescribed some acidity regulator pills and antacid. This is usual complaints of most house wives. Take rest inbetween your work, if required lie down for 5-10 minutes. Somtimes analgesics like paracetamol may be needed. For high bp you must take bp med. Regularly. Take less salt in meals.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.
