I am suffering from back pain and cervical pain form 3 months. Then I decided to do MRI scan of my spinal cord. Then I got my reports of my MRI scan. I am sending you my reports in written Report: MRI WHOLE SPINE Mr. of whole spine was performed and high resolution Titu weighted serial sections obtained in the sagittal plane using a phased array surface coil FINDINGS: The study reveals that early spondylitis change are seen in the form of marginal osteophytes Facetopathy and multiple levels partial disc desiccation in the form of reduction of high spinal intensity on T2W images. Diffuse disc bulge at L4-5 level, impinging upon the thecal sac and bilateral traversing nerve roots with mild bilateral neuro-foramina narrowing Diffuse disc bulge at L5-S1 level, impinging the thecal sac and bilateral traversing nerve roots with mild bilateral neuro-foramina narrowing Canal diameter C2/3-12. 2 mm C3/4-11. 2 mm C4/5-11 mm C5/6-10. 9 mm C6/7-10. 3 mm C7/D1-12. 3 mm L1/2-16. 6 mm L2/3-15. 8 mm L3/4-15. 3 mm L4/5-12. 6 mm L5/S1-12. 1 mm Please contact me fast and please tell me how can I become normal because I have so much pain in my backbone and I am unable to sit because of this problem. Hello, you are under weight try to improve your health. Hydrate your body tkg, plenty of water. Go for meditation to reduce your stress nourishing whole body to ease your back pain. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform me.

Hi, back pain is one of the most common reasons people go to the doctor or miss work. Causes of backache include: 1) muscle or ligament strain. Repeated heavy lifting or a sudden awkward movement may strain back muscles and spinal ligaments. 2) bulging or ruptured disks. Disks act as cushions between the bones (vertebrae) in your spine. The soft material inside a disk can bulge or rupture and press on a nerve. 3) arthritis. Osteoarthritis can affect the lower back. 4) skeletal irregularities. Back pain can occur if your spine curves abnormally. 5) osteoporosis. Preventive measures 1) maintain a healthy weight. 2) keep your sitting posture correct/straight. Do not slouch 3) avoid bending from back while lifting something from ground, instead bend at your knees. 4) hot fomentation to lower back or the painful part. 5) keep the coir side of your mattress up to give your back firm support and change the mattress if it is curved. 6) wear comfortable footwear with shock absorbing soles in shoes. In case above measures do not help, take rhus. Tox-30, 2 drops in 1 tsp water thrice a day for a week and revert back:

No oil helps to relieve pain due to arthritis. It will just relax the muscles. Personally no need for massage good physiotherapy helps.

Does walking worsen joint and muscle pain and does it increase the risk of tendon rupture? A week ago I went to doctor for my loose motions and he prescribed me ofloaxin (200 mg) and ornidazole (500 mg) tablets to be taken two times a day for a week. After a day I noticed mild muscle, knee pain and a loss of sensation in my right leg. I thought permanent nerve damage has been done to my leg. But I was wrong and since yesterday when I finished my dose of antibiotics there is very little pain and that too occur occasionally. So my question is since this antibiotic increases the risk of tendon rupture and cause muscle/joint pain, will it be safe to walk 10-15 kms a day? Or should I wait for few weeks before I start walking such long distances? PS: I love to walk!

Hello sir, Now that you have completed the course of antibiotics, your muscular pain and tiredness will be gone. You can get back to active walking schedule. Doing regular exercise is a good thing. Now when you start walking, don't walk 10-15 km on day one. Take time and gradually increase the distance. Tendon injury following fluroquinolones is a theoretical possibility, but don't worry. I'm sure you have Read the instructions or in Google. So far in 12 years I've not seen a person have that complication. Enjoy your walks.
