This is advisable to do regular stretching exercise in the forms of yogasanas with some aerobic exercises to make your muscles flexible which prevents the chances of injury while playing game or doing sudden activities. Stretching should be associated with some relaxation techniques which will reduce the stress and anxiety. also promote the control over our mind and there by emotions.

When I wake up early In the morning my feet pain very much. Please can you help me out.
This is because of plantar fascitis. Sometimes may also be because of overweight. You seem to be overweight. But that causes pain on prolonged standing. Do exercises for stretching tendo achilles, ankle and toe and calf stretching. This works wonders.

Are you suffering from Backpain ????

Are you suffering from Backpain ????
Few remedies to keep back pain at bay –

1.Keep yourself warm
Back pain is caused due to vitiated vata and the main quality of vata is that it is cold and so it is necessary to keep yourself warm to prevent this disease.

2.Avoid intake of spicy/chilly food
Another feature of a vitiated vata dosha is dryness. To keep yourself hydrated it is necessary to keep a check on your diet. Chilly or spicy food like green chilies and can have a drying effect on the body which can in turn cause constipation, resulting in back pain.

3.Perform and Practice Padahastasana
Padahastasana (standing forward fold pose) is a great Yoga pose for lower back pain as this prevents the restriction of the stool-carrying channels that causes both constipation and lower back pain. Most of the reasons of back pain are not muscular and Padahastasana helps in elimination of the toxins from the body.

4.Oil your body
A vitiated vata causes stress, exertion, depletion and tiredness which in turn cause back pain. Also excess build-up of vata dosha leads to early ageing, and pain in various parts of the body. So to keep yourself young, supple and warm it is necessary that you oil your body daily before a warm shower. This will not just reduce pain in your back but will also slow your ageing process and make your skin healthy and strong.

5.Drink Ajwain (Bishop’s weed seed) tea
Ajwain seeds are highly beneficial for reducing and preventing pain in the back, as well as checking constipation. This can be included in the diet of a person not suffering from heat-related diseases. This is especially good to be consumed during the time of periods by women. Ajwain seeds can be boiled in water and consumed as a decoction. It is an instant pain reliever.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Hello. Firstly you should get your x-ray done for the sake of precautions. You are having a fractured leg so you must be on bed rest for about 2-3 months or maybe more. And it is usually said that longer bed rest changes your circadian rhythm. Various hormones and enzymes are released in a 24 hour schedule. Since your leg was bandaged so there must be lack of vitamins and calcium. If you feel that your bones are getting weaker then you can 1 gm of wet lime stone (chuna. Along with 100 gm of curd, juice or water. You will feel all the deficiencies will vanish. Please do not use it if you have a problem of kidney stone or other such problems. Do consult a dietitian or a wellness coach. Thanks.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have symptoms of maltracking of patella due to a shallow groove, this can actually lead to anterior knee pain over a period of time due to softening of cartilage covering patella. Normally as an initial measure, we try rigorous physiotherapy with some supportive medications and see for the result, a lot of patients improve symptomatically with this but in some patients there may not be an improvement because of bad bio mechanics and for that we might have to think of a surgical procedure. Anyways if you send me all your investigations and doctor's prescription papers, then I can have a look and advise you accordingly. Thanks & regard.
