Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Dear lybrate-user, the complaints you described suggest towards peptic ulcer syndrome. 1 never skip breakfast. 2 do not eat junk food. 3 avoid eating too much oily and spicy food 4 do not overeat. Eat only up to 2/3rd capacity of your stomach, leave 1/3rd portion empty. 5 take your meals regularly at regular intervals. 6 drink min 8 glasses if water daily. 7 consult a doctor for medicines. 8 check your thyroid profile.

Hi lybrate user firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9. Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. Dear user, burning more calories that you take is the best way to lose weight. 1. Controlling your diet and exercising regularly is the key to losing weight. Taking the following could also help in accelerating the weight loss process: taking pranacharya medohar rasayan (1-1) twice a day; taking medohar guggul (2-2) twice a day; pranacharya slim capsule (1-1) twice a day. 2. It is advisable to avoid junk, fried, fermented or oily food. You should also avoid the intake of alcohol, sugar, dairy products. 3. You should increase the intake of oats and cereals. You should incorporate a walk of at least 45 minutes in your daily regime and prayanama every morning. It is advised not to sleep immediately after taking a meal.

According to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. You can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rice in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water of rice.

Hello, Sedentary lifestyle often leads to uncontrolled weight gain. Get her to be physically activity for atleast an hour daily. Inclusion of fresh fruits and vegetables, Wholegrain, pulses in teh diet will help. Yes ther are pcos who are thin too. Ideal bmi helps to regularise the harmone which is very important to control pcos. The basic harmone lh level should be corrected with drugs followed be ovulation induction with drugs with careful monitoring will help you acheive pregnancy.

Please do treadmill daily for at least 30-45 min diet, exercise, and behavioral modification should be included in all obesity management approaches for body mass index (bmi) of 25 kg/m 2 or higher. Other tools, such as pharmacotherapy for bmi of 27 kg/m 2 or higher with comorbidity or bmi over 30 kg/m2 and bariatric surgery for bmi of 35 kg/m2 with comorbidity or bmi over 40 kg/m 2, should be used as adjuncts to behavioral modification to reduce food intake and increase physical activity when this is possible. Many obese people are advised to follow a juice diet or the juice fast for a period of a week or so, so that they can shed the excess extra pounds faster. Health and nutrition experts advise people to consume fresh fruit or vegetable juice for obesity.

Please do treadmill for at least 30-45 minutes daily. Keep moving as much as you can whenever you can. Keep meal portions small especially if they’re cooked. Limit your food intake to ONLY and ONLY 4 times a day. Avoid sedentary life/night watching/junk foods.

Maintain input out put ratio. Whatever you eat calculate calories that called input calories after that do exercise and burn some calories that is out put calories. Eat less exercise more weight will loos have a barley soup at dinner have a dinner at 8.00pm and sleep at 10---11.00pm. Avoid rice at night. Calories calculator you will get on google download it.

Hello, Doing exercises regularly will not only cut down your belly fat, but also you will get a body in good shape and you will be get rid of many diseases related to it! Following exercises will help you to achieve this if you don’t have any other medical condition: 1.The Plank - Lie down on your tummy and then come on your palms and toes.Lift the knees off the floor. Draw your tummy muscles up and breathe deeply into the side and back of the rib cage. Aim to hold the pose for 30 seconds. 2.Static Tiger pose - Place your hands and knees on the floor. This is the starting position. Now lift up one leg and extend the opposite arm. Hold this Static Tiger Pose for 3 deep breaths. Come back to the starting position and swap sides, extending arm and opposite leg. You can look down towards the mat to keep the spine in line. This exercise will build core strength. 3.Sitting Spinal Twist - Sit on the floor and cross your legs. Place one hand next to your hip and the other on the knee. Rotate the spine and look over one shoulder into a Sitting Spinal Twist. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. Swap sides, rotating and looking over the shoulder. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. 4.Stomach Crunches - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Place your hands on your thighs, across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your knees until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 stomach crunches. 5.Oblique Crunch - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Roll your knees to one side down to the floor. Place your hands across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your hips until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 oblique crunches and repeat on the opposite side. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

This is a very common problem with sedentary workers. Start with simple measures like. Walk up and down the stairs instead of taking lift. Avoid rice, potatoes and sugar. Take one meal of boiled or sautéed vegetables. Get a blood test done for Hb %, RBS, TSH and T4. You can contact me with test reports and more advice.

Hello lybrate-user- weight loss can be easily achieved by following some ayurvedic rules- a) go to bed before 10 pm and wake up early morning if you want to study. B) avoid fast foods and foods which are processed in nature. C) practice kapalbhati pranayam in the morning. D) have foods which have more fibre content. E) take evening meals before 7 pm and try not to take milk while going to bed. F) drink water before meals as it will decrease your food urge and will reduce your weight.
