Dear sir/madam, I want some information about body is considered bp normal from 30 years onward. Should normal value be same for all years for young and old. How is it caused and simple way to control without medicine. How many points systolic and diastolic will be increase when a person is angry or taken meals reached in salt?

Dear sir/madam, I want some information about body is considered bp normal from 30 years onward. Should normal value ...
Dear Lybrateuser, - The basic principle for bp is that the upper (systolic) range should be between 120-100 & lower reading (diastolic) can be between 60-80 mm of Hg - it can be more after 40-50 years or so & in old age - to keep it under control & in normal range one has to follow a healthy lifestyle which includes a well balanced diet, regular exercise, weight under control, proper sleep & keeping stress to the minimum - have less salt in diet, also salty foods like namkeens, pickles, papads, avoid deep fried foods, foods containing trans & saturated fats - have more of fibre containing foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains like wholewheat, brown rice, oats, corn, quinoa instead of refined ones, lentils, sprouts, nuts, heart healthy fats as in fish such as mackeral, tuna & salmon, avocados, nuts, flax seeds - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, yoga, meditation & deep breathing to relax your mind & body - sleep well for at least 7-8 hrs at night, keep sleep & wake up time fixed - destress by reading, listening to music, play a game or follow a hobby - bp doesn't increase in a fixed manner, it roses slowly over some time, getting angry releases stress hormones which raise the bp.

I have a sharp stabbing pain in the lower back, just above the hip and bit to the left of the base of the spine. It is not the typical back pain we usually have if we workout too much or anything. This just came out of nowhere and it refuses to go away. If I do any excercises then it just aggravates the pain and refuses to respond to any balms/ointments. What is the reason for this back pain ?

Hi, I am Dr Akshay from Fortis Hospital, New Delhi. Your pain can be due to muscle strain or it could be discogenic if it is originating from spine. You can try physical therapy and anti-inflammatory therapy for few days but if it persists then you will require a consultation from an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Thanks & Regards Dr Akshay Email Id : akshaysaxena2004@yahoo.co.in

Get Fit Like a Freedom Fighter With His Workout Regime

Our freedom fighters fought for the country with dedication and passion, to get us our independence. They are the ones responsible for freeing Indian and shaping our country's future.
Freedom Fighters kept themselves physically fit and mentally stable by discipline, so they could arise to any emergency situation all day long, throughout the year. Their physical fitness and stamina played a very important role during war like crisis.

In today's fast paced world, people suffer from lot of stress and strain at every step of life. The concept of 'good health and healthy living' is not possible without any workout. The sense of health consciousness arises only after a sickness. This must be avoided, and the notion 'Prevention is better than cure' be adopted. So, to keep yourself healthy and going, why not follow a freedom fighter's workout regime.

First of all, the notion that one needs to go to the gym or workout on machines needs to be shoved. People in the olden times kept themselves fit without any fancy equipment or machines. They followed rigorous exercise regime and kept themselves healthy and strong. So, to become fit, one should seriously follow different formats of exercising with a routine. Running, swimming, jogging, push-ups, squat are some of the exercises that can be taken up to stay fit.

Doing these aerobic exercises regularly helps in toning almost every muscle in the body. Jogging has been proven to be good for the heart as it reduces the risk of heart diseases. They deliver oxygen to the heart and muscles. This list of exercise is good for people of all generations and sex. To be fit, you can do workouts like Push-ups, Pull-ups, Sit-up and Squat.

  1. Push-ups: This exercise helps to improve the muscles of the arms, chest and shoulders. This exercise helps to build abs; it is an exercise for the manly youth.
  2. Pull-ups: In this posture of exercising the upper half of the body is pulled. It is simply hanging from a firm rod and pulling your upwards. This exercise is extremely good for your shoulders and arms.
  3. Sit-ups: It is the best exercise to build strong abdominal muscles. It also helps the hip muscles. This is a very good exercise pro-pregnancy because most women tend to put on weight.
  4. Squat exercise: This is a great exercise which targets quadriceps, hamstrings and rest of the body. It also trains the muscle of the thighs. This is a welcoming exercise for the youth as well as athletes.

Lastly we must workout with the same zeal as our freedom fighters, to keep our body fit as a fiddle. We should follow our exercise schedule religiously and be dedicated to keeping our bodies fit!

I had sex with my partner, unprotected one on 11 July, 2018.The earlier month I had my periods on 2, June 2018. Hence I was expecting my periods on 20th this month, however it's 7 days past now and it hasn't happened yet. Generally my periods get 5-6 days late. But my body is showing no symptoms involved in pregnancy and there was no ejaculation involved during the intercourse. There are no symptoms involved what so ever. Please guide me what should I do. There is no bleeding involved either, but there is small amount of menstrual pain if pressure is applied in the lower abdomen which is Normal before my periods.

Hello User As per my view about your query. 1. There is not any ejaculation flow inside, so if it's unprotected sex but not ejaculated then there is very few chances of pregnancy, because of unknowingly a single drop might be dropped while sex. 2. Your cycle is already not proper as it's appropriate 40 days, and the date of unprotected sex is might be a safe time, but sometimes in delayed periods situation can't judge ovulation time, so that in that time there were few chances for the pregnancy if its been ejaculated inside. 3. You don't have symptoms of pregnancy. So it's few chance. 4. Now you should have to be relax first because of stress is also one of the most important reason for delayed periods. 5. Wait and watch for the periods. 6. Check by urine pregnancy test. Positive thinking always helps to get fast recovery. I advise you following Yogasan and Pranayam Procedures for better results… Yoga and Pranayam treatment Paschimotanasan Chakrashan Sarvangasan Uttanpadasan Pavan muktasana In Pranayama Bhasrika pranayam Anulom – vilom pranayam Kapalbhanti pranayam Note: Advises given here are basis on safety and availability of everywhere. Although, result may depends on quality from manufacturer of medicines.
