Im overweight. My BMI is 27.6. I am married with no kids. My wife takes care of diet these days. But my work schedule just does not allow me to do physical activities. I have to be at work from 8.00 AM to 7: 00 PM. Without even 30 min break. And have to study once I get back home at least for an hour. Please suggest me what can I do to loose weight.

Hello if you r running or standing or your doing more step activity or any jurky movment to your knee than stop doing all stuff take rest for 3, 4 days put ice pack over knee and aply dolentia relex gel after if pain relives than start doing some good knee strengthening exercises if pain dosent reduce than visit to physiotherapy center and take ift over that pain part.

Dear friend, as far I know no surgery whether minor or major is not completely safe. Plus diabetes makes surgery more difficult and complicated especially in post op period. I can't say mini bypass is good for diabetes but bariatric surgeons claim that after conventional gastric bypass diabetes is cured or mostly controlled. Complication in bariatric surgery do occur. They are many but major is failure to loose wt. So consult a good bariatric surgeon.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a condition in which man has trouble in keeping or getting an erection. It is a common male sexual dysfunction. It becomes more common as you get older but it is not a part of aging. MECHANISM OF ERECTION An erection starts in the brain. Physical and mental stimulation is required for an erection to begin. This stimulation causes nerves in the brain to send chemical messages to nerves which are present in the penis which results in the free flow of blood into the penis. This leads to high pressure in the penis which in turn traps the blood within both corpora cavernosa and then the penis expand. This causes the penis to sustain an erection. When the inflow of blood is stopped, then it opens outflow channels and then penis becomes soft. Then an erection is said to be reversed. CAUSES OF ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION Erection is a complex process which involves hormones, brain, emotions, muscles, nerves and blood vessels. Problem with any one of these can lead to erectile dysfunction. Sometimes stress and mental health can also lead to erectile dysfunction. Combination of Physical and Psychological issues can lead to erectile dysfunction. Some medicines like antidepressants can also cause this and if you are taking any medication you have to discuss with your treating doctor to change or stop medicine if possible PHYSICAL CAUSES OF ED •Heart disease, high blood pressure, High cholesterol. •Parkinson's disease, obesity, alcoholism, atherosclerosis. •Use of tobacco, surgeries that affect the pelvic area or spinal cord. •Treatments for prostate cancer. PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES OF ED: Depression, anxiety, stress and other mental health conditions are some of the psychological issues which causes erectile dysfunction. By eating healthy diet, erectile dysfunction can be managed. By doing Exercise daily and by avoiding smoking, risk for developing erectile dysfunction can be decreased. If you do not have any diseases it is only your mind that is preventing your erection. So you need to be calm and stop worrying about it and keep on doing normally.

To soften rough hair, use fenugreek seeds. Powder the seeds and add water to make a thick paste. For visible results, apply regularly on the scalp for a month at least. You can also apply warm oil with lime and egg on the scalp. Wrap head in a warm towel. Leave until it cools and wash thoroughly. Repeat twice a week to soften hair.

Alovera can cause increase in pimples. Acne can be treated easily with facewash, tablets and creams. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. If it is Hans and gutkha products, they are both very dangerous. I am so glad that your intention is to quit these habits. There are no guarantees about stopping one’s addiction. But that does not mean we should not keep at it, over and over again until we succeed. Both are tobacco products and will therefore have addictive components to them. It may feel like you can’t stop but that it really not true. If you do not try, then it will never happen. You must try and try again until you succeed. The problem with addiction is that you have two products which are both conditioned to various events in your daily life and as such it will make it difficult but not impossible. You could work with an addiction counselor to help you process the rehabilitation. It is important to first find out about the ill-effects of tobacco use to have a reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary and true. The nicotine in tobacco stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. Nicotine also reduces the erectile capacity of your penis to hamper satisfying sex. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. You need to replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the tobacco drive reduces, substantially. Both will help but I am inclined to favor the gum because it is an oral habit and it will occupy the mouth just as though you were still chewing tobacco. When you want it will be easier to give up the gum. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-users for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit consuming Hans. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest.

High pulse rate for long time is not desirable, you take beta blocker tab will definitely you get relief as you have high diastolic pressure, let me know if you do not get relief.

Hi lybrate-user, If left untreated, migraines can linger for four hours to three days. Stop the suffering sooner by putting yourself in a migraine-soothing environment and trying various natural remedies or medications believed to help treat these throbbing headaches. Stay in the dark room until your migraine goes away, or for as long as possible. Wear sunglasses when necessary. If you have to be out and about and are unable to get to an area with soft light or no light, wear polarizing sunglasses to protect your eyes from the brightest parts of the light spectrum. This may not be quite as effective as spending a few minutes in a dark room, but it will usually still help. If you cannot go to a separate room, wear noise-canceling headphones over your ears to block out external noise. Some individuals find silence stressful or unnerving. If this is the case, run a white noise machine or air purifier in the background to provide soothing ambient sound. You could also try soothing music; however, avoid loud or exciting tunes. Deep breathing exercises can relax the body, thereby releasing any tension that might be contributing to your migraine. Lie on your back with a pillow below your head and a second pillow below your knees. Your legs should be somewhat bent. Place your dominant hand on your upper chest and your other hand below your rib cage. Breathe in slowly through your nose until your stomach pushes against your non-dominant hand. Breathe out slowly through pursed lips as you tighten your stomach. Keep your dominant hand still throughout the entire process. Do this routine for about five minutes. A cold washcloth applied to your achy head can cause the blood vessels there to contract, which slows down the rush of blood to your head. Wet a soft, clean washcloth with cold water and place it over your forehead or on the back of your neck. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Take a 10 to 15 minute break before applying the compress again, and continue in this pattern until your migraine goes away. Note that in some instances, however, cold temperatures can actually make a migraine headache feel worse. If the pain increases within the first 5 minutes of treatment, stop immediately and try something else. Stand under a cold shower with the water running over the top of your head for at least 15 minutes. Give yourself a head massage while you shampoo. This helps to reduce the tensions in your body while releasing the heat from your scalp. Lightly squeeze the excess water from your hair, but keep it damp. Do not dry your hair. Lie down in a cool room while your hair is still damp and try to sleep for a while. You can place a towel over your pillow if you are worried about it being wet. There are often certain foods that can trigger migraines in people; what the triggers are will vary from individual to individual. You can determine any dietary triggers you may have by recording what you ate prior to the onset of a migraine headache, and looking to see if there are any patterns over time. Common dietary triggers of migraine headache include: Foods containing aspartame or MSG Alcohol, Chocolate, Cheese, Salami, Caffeine. Caffeine is a paradox when it comes to migraines. Too much can bring a migraine on, but taking a little caffeine after a migraine comes upon you can actually help the pain to go away. Only take a small dose of caffeine: one soda, one cup of coffee, one cup of tea, or one chocolate bar is sufficient. Avoid energy drinks high in caffeine. Note that this generally only works if your migraine was not originally triggered by caffeine. As long as the pain has not made moving around unbearable for you, light aerobic exercise can get your blood flowing to other areas of your body and cause your migraine to vanish. Aerobic exercise worth trying during a migraine may include brisk walking or jogging, cycling, or swimming. As your heart pumps, your blood circulation will improve and stabilize throughout your body, causing the blood to stop rushing to your head. Additionally, exercise is a good way to relax and get your mind off any stresses that may have triggered the migraine. Keep a migraine diary. When a migraine comes on, make a note of the environmental conditions surrounding it. Write down sensory stimuli (bright lights, loud music, odd odors, etc.), causes of stress, dietary habits, and sleep habits. After a few attacks, review your diary to pinpoint common conditions that usually exist before a migraine comes on. These conditions are your “triggers” and should be avoided to prevent or limit future migraines. Some home remedies you can do: Eat jaggery with ghee. Add a teaspoon of dried tulsi leaf powder and it gets even better. Practice pranayama, especially recommended if you have migraine in which case munching grapes or licking honey to which you add turmeric and salt prove helpful. Garlic is a useful herb and in case of headaches too you can chew a couple of cloves early in the morning or make a paste and apply to your head. Asafetida is a useful elixir for headaches, use asafetida mixed in oil and applied over the forehead as well as consumed internally for relief in headaches. All the best.
