I have done unprotected sex with my boyfriend. On 26 th day after my periods. He ejaculated in me twice. As it was unprotected no condom. So his liquid gone inside me. Now I m worried. Will I get pregnant. My periods will come 5- 6 days later. I think we have done sex in safe days still I m worried as it was unprotected. What should I do?

DNB (Obstetrics and Gynecology), PGDHHM, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Delhi
First thing- you had sex during your safe period that is your chances of getting pregnant were minimal. But you can not be 100% sure. Ecps can work for you if they are consumed within 2-3 days otherwise you need to wait for your next period. If you miss your period by 7-10 days, you should take pregnancy test.

She had sex first time. But after four days she has pain at her backbone. please tell us about that. What should we do?

BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist, Kota
Lower back pain you can do it this exercise, 1 Lying on your back, bend your right knee into your chest and place a strap or rolled-up towel around the ball of your foot. Straighten your leg toward the ceiling. Press out through both heels. If the lower back feels strained, bend the left knee and place the foot on the ground. Hold for 3-5 minutes and then switch to the left let for 3-5 minutes. 2….Lying on your back, bend your knees into your chest and bring your arms out at a T. As you exhale lower your knees to ground on the right. Keep both shoulders pressing down firmly. If the left shoulder lifts, lower your knees further away from the right arm. Hold for 1-2 minutes each side I hope you will fit and fine.

Pragnency agar hai to one month me kya alag hoga jisase pata chale Ki pragnency hai.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Gurgaon
early pregnancy symptoms are very vague and usually start around 4-5 weeks. So to determine if one it actually pregnant, its best to do a pregnancy test and check, if she misses her period by a week. Very early test will also give a false negative result. Hope this information has been helpful.

I am 18 days late on my period and I am. Sexually active. I last had unprotected sex on 16.04.2017. I have taken four pregnancy tests and they are all negative. I took a thyroid test too and the result is TSH 3rd Generation 4.178 (please help me understand this). I previously had thyroid between january-march 2015 which was cured with a three month course of thyroxine.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Normal TSH levels for the average adult range from 0.4 ‑ 4.0 mIU/L (milli-international units per liter) However, many scientists agree that a reading of 2.5 or less is truly ideal, with anything 2.5 – 4.0 mIU/L considered “at risk”. For those on thyroxine, goal TSH level is between 0.5 to 2.5 mU/L, By this school of thought you have slight risk esp you had hypothyroidism earlier and it is not curable as you think and need regular medication and follow up

I don't think it's something to be worried about. Just maintain a menstrual calendar for 3 months and observe the cycle.

Spinach Benefits Side Effects in Hindi -

Placental Abruption - What are the Risks and Complications Associated with it?

MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Agra
Placental Abruption - What are the Risks and Complications Associated with it?

Pregnancy can have a number of complications. One of these is known as placental abruption. This is a serious yet uncommon complication. The placenta is a structure in the uterus that nourishes the growing baby. In rare cases, this placenta can get peeled off- partially or completely, before delivery. This is known as placenta abruption and deprives the baby of oxygen and essential nutrients and can cause the mother to experience heavy bleeding. If left untreated, this condition can put the life of both the baby and mother in jeopardy.

The cause of placental abruption has is still not known, but there are a number of conditions that can increase the risk of suffering from this condition. This includes:

  1. A prior placental abruption
  2. High blood pressure
  3. Abdominal trauma such as a fall or blow to the abdomen
  4. Substance abuse or smoking
  5. Premature rupturing of the amniotic sac that surrounds the baby
  6. Any condition that reduces your blood’s ability to clot
  7. Multiple pregnancies
  8. Pregnancy after the age of 40

A placental abruption can be diagnosed through blood tests, an ultrasound and a non stress test to check the baby’s heart rate. Placental abruption affects the life the mother and baby in many ways. For the mother, it can result in excessive bleeding that triggers shock, blood clotting problems and the need for a blood transfusion. It can also cause kidney, liver and pituitary gland failure. Even after delivery, the mother may still experience vaginal bleeding. If this cannot be controlled, an emergency hysterectomy may also be required. The uterus may also not contract properly after delivery and the mother may need medication to help the uterus contract back to its original position.

Placental abruption deprives the baby of essential nutrients and can lead to premature birth or stillbirth. After delivery the baby may suffer from breathing and feeding difficulties. The baby may also be born with low levels of oxygen in the blood. Low blood pressure and low blood count can also be triggered by this condition. In severe cases, it can also lead to brain damage and death shortly after delivery.

Placental abruption can be prevented by following a healthy diet that helps regulate blood pressure. Get plenty of rest and take multivitamins regularly to reduce the risk of suffering from this condition. Lastly, if you experience any contractions or vaginal bleeding, consult your gynaecologist immediately.

My friend is 32 yrs old married lady. From one week she has itching, redness, swelling and white discharge from genital. She has a light fever, constipation and tiredness and burning and frequent urination also. Are these the symptoms of Gonorrhea?

Ayurvedic Oil For Ear!

Ayurvedic ear oil
Using ear oil strengthens the immune system and keeps your lymphs and sinuses moist and nourished. This helps prevent colds, infections and allergies. And just as powerful as the nourishing oil are the immune building, anti inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral benefits of garlic.

Ayurvedic ear oil recipe

  1. 1/3 cup organic virgin olive oil
  2. 1 clove garlic – chopped

Directions:

  1. Throw the oil and chopped garlic into a pot and bring it to a simmer.
  2. Let the oil bubble and pop to release all the liquid. Press the garlic with a fork to help it release. It’s done when the oil doesn’t pop anymore, it should take about 5 minutes.
  3. Once your garlic oil is done cooking, let it cool, and then strain to separate it from the garlic.
  4. Lastly, pour the strained liquid into an eyedropper bottle or old tincture glass.

Use:

  1. Before using ear oil, always run the bottle under hot water to warm the oil. This makes the experience quite soothing.
  2. Drop in enough oil to fill one ear and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Now tilt the head and allow the oil to drain out, and do the other side for another 5 minutes.
  3. It’s a good idea to start doing this once every few weeks to keep your ears clear and your immune system strong. If you’re already sick, fill your ears once every hour, until your symptoms go away, you will feel better so quickly.
