Include food which are rich in iron in your regular meals. Such foods include: dark green leafy vegetables, dates, jaggery, raisins, nuts, legumes, pulses, etc. Increase your intake of vitamin C rich foods such as berries, sweet lime, orange, etc. Vitamin C help is increasing absorption rate of iron in body.

Hi, avoid taking any caffeine after 7 pm. Take a warm bath before sleep. Sip on warm milk before retiring. Avoid watching tv serial. Instead, listen to soft music before going to bed. Meditation at bed time would also help. All the best.

you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache You can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) follow advises given below: Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day Get check eyes for refractive error complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis It may be due to stress This problem can be solved by Meditation you can go for regular Physical exercise consult privately for further management

Its not curable but its completely controllable. Foods usually not related to asthma. But 1-2 hour physical activity/ exercise should be in your habit, it improves your lung capacity to fight asthma.

Hello. For sore throat, need to follow the points: - Avoid cold things, fried/ oily food. -Avoid excessive use of voice/ roughly using voice or else shouting. - Gargle with salt and warm water solution thrice daily. - Take Ginger tea. - Avoid excessive cold air or sudden change of temperature (like coming from heat/ sunlight to an A/C room). - Can cover your throat with a stole. Medication: Take homoeopathic medications - Schwabe's Alpha- CF/ 1 tab. And SBL's Stodal cough lozenges – all of them thrice a day daily- for 3 days.

Health Tips To Avoid Skin Diseases

Here are a few health tips to prevent the contraction of skin diseases:

  • Sun protection: Over-exposure to the sun and its UV rays results in excessive skin damage that can lead to sunburn or even skin cancer. Therefore, the number one tip would be to wear sunscreen or sun block to prevent the damage of the skin from sunrays. Staying away from direct sunlight from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. would also provide protection.
  • Wash hands well: Washing hands prevent the spread of infections, however, it is largely underrated.
  • Include fruits and vegetables in the diet: Fruits and vegetables aid in providing the necessary nutrients necessary to keep the skin glowing and to ward off certain skin conditions and diseases by fortifying the body.
  • Attend to wounds: Skin is the biggest barrier against infections and a tear or a wound can open that barrier and increase the risk of infections. Moreover, untreated wounds may become severe and spread to other areas of the body.It is advisable to consult a dermatologist for all skin, hair and nail ailments.

I am 20 years old, I have migraine. Is there any exercise or medicine for migraine?

Migraine headache is characterised by 1.unilateral pulsating headache associated with nause/vomiting and photophobia / phonophobia. 2. There are triggers for migraine like sun exposure, certain foods or smell, lack of sleep, excess caffeine etc. The triggers are variable for different patients. 3.Migraine attacks can be managed by simple painkillers like paracetamol but in resistant cases drugs like Sumatriptan may be needed. 4.For frequent episodes of migraine preventive medications are to be taken by prescription. Follow these lifestyle changes to avoid migraine headache 1. Maintain regular sleep wake cycle, even on holiday's. 2. Don't skip meals. Take regular healthy diet with adequate fluids 3. Do not consume excess caffeine / carbohydrates / alcohol or smoke. 4. Exercise daily ( aerobics and cardiovascular) 5. Identify your headache trigger and try to avoid it. 6. Hi doctor, I read and heard that a daily consumption of vitamin C for men its caused impotence. It's true? If yes (I takes a BEPLEX FORTE) daily. In this medicine vitamin C is 150. 0 mg So it's dangerous for me?

No, daily consumption of vitamin C does not cause Impotency. Vitamin C is excreted out of body daily, in urine as this is water soluble vitamin.

If your piles produce only mild discomfort, I may suggest over-the-counter creams, ointments, suppositories or pads based on your medical history. These products contain ingredients, that can relieve pain and itching, at least temporarily. Don't use an over-the-counter cream or other product for more than a week unless directed by doctor. These products can cause side effects, such as skin rash, inflammation and skin thinning. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. How safe it is to eat eggs by a diabetic patient if his sugar is in control. Can he eat 2 eggs daily? why the doctors do not keep in mind the diabetic patients when they say good things like this. Diabetic would want to maintain their health too and if eggs are good would you advise them to eat 2 eggs daily.
